I love chocolates but the next best thing is when I dun need to wash my own hair coz there is someone to do it for me lol. Thanks to a lovely media invite from WOM (Word of Mouth Comm), I headed down to Walking on Sunshine salon for a quick hair wash and styling with my girl friends! ❤️
Salon #legit looks very nice, with leaves 🍃and flowers aplenty. Used The Body Shop’s haircare range! Interesting... never knew they had Ginger hair care wor.
Jio-ed my girlfriends for a makan session and we had fun taking pics coz #StudioWoo (me lol) is around and then the place also so pretty so we just trigger happy with camera since film free rite. Hahaha joke joke. Imagine if it’s still film. I think I pok kai (go broke) from developing all the 200 photos from that day itself.

But there is this swing at the cafe, quite funny! Dun try to swing coz super off balance one! I really want to fall down and I kept screaming I cannot I cannot! Coz this Calista siao char bor keep telling me to try swing and this Jasmine can ask me to use my non-existent stomach muscles to pretend swing, but really cannot la! My butt too big!🙀

Yea we were doing all these while waiting for Nadia’s turn to wash hair coz our appointments back to back but it was pretty fast and we had each other to talk cock... and also play with Didi, who woke up! 😻

And supermarket run at Don Don Donki - which I dun prefer to go coz I find the variety and freshness so so only. But bo bian, I had to go pick Elroy from school and head back to cook dinner. #rushrusheveryday 🤕
Dinner! With trusty #Lilo Ikan bilis and mushroom powders. I made Honey chicken wings, salad and soup for the boys.
In my car boot! Changed my wedges for slippers, groceries, stroller and diaper bag lol. Not forgetting my huge ass water bottle - I make sure I finish my water when I’m out coz of my intermitted fasting schedule - I have to hydrate myself as much as I can. 💦

Just wanna put my latest picture to remind myself that being healthy and happy is most important. Lol. So recently especially after my holiday to Japan, I’ve been getting soooo many comments on, like if I’m expecting No3 but really, it’s A FOOD BELLY! <insert crying emoji> 😭
But hey really, what is intermittent fasting?
By far, the EASIEST thing that I’ve ever done. Not much food restriction, can drink alcohol and I get to drink all my favorite black tea and green tea (just no sugar and please no Pokka k or bubble tea yo!)
I’ve been doing it close to 2 weeks and although I should add some exercise (haha) to my fitness regime >> I think to myself ~ ok woah, every SMALL step is a victory to me k. Lol. Soon soon ya. I will get back to yoga. Lololol.
Ok back to #IF. It’s basically just a type of schedule where I stop food and alcohol intake say, 8pm and carry on til the next day. This is one of the most popular Intermitted Fasting plans aka 16/8.
A typical “good” meal but truthfully.. though I watch what I eat now I do indulge in some carbs (love my carbs) and sweets like cookies and my favorite chocolate. The key point.. moderation, guys!!! Also. I stop all meals at 8pm so this cut off really works and I realize how much clearer my mind feels. The mental clarity is AMAZINGGG. No more food coma! Or feeling sluggish!
My 8 hour daily eating window starts from 12-8pm. I usually have lunch and dinner and even a small snack if I’m feeling peckish - but now I dun have much cravings and get satisfied with a handful of nuts or just 2 cookies etc. I hydrate myself with so MUCH WATER. When I feel hungry, I drink water. When I am hungry. I drink water. When I’m about to have a meal. What’s the answer? Smart la you. I drink water. 🤗 The best part is that I dun feel deprived at all! Heck, I had bubbly and truffle fries just yesterday for teatime! Why not? 😂

I’m not really concerned by the kilos on my weighing scale, but feeling better about myself is my primary goal! Hopefully I incalculate better eating habits (like, no more supper lol) and end 2019 on a happier, healthier note 💕 Anyone tried it? Would love to hear from you!
