Recently, Nintendo revealed the two legendary Pokémon that will be associated with Pokémon Sword and Shield. As expected, the legendary you will get will depend on which version of the game you decide to play. Of course, both look absolutely stunning.
Pokémon Sword’s Legendary will be called Zacian… The description for Zacian states: “Zacian attacks so gracefully that its movements can even captivate its opponents. It holds what appears to be a sword in its mouth”.
If you decide to go for Pokémon Shield you will have the chance to capture Zamaneta… Zamaneta’s description states: “Zamazenta’s regal and majestic movements overwhelm any opponents that dare face it. Its body is covered in what seems to be a shield”.
Pokémon Sword and Shield will be released for Nintendo Switch on 15th November 2019… Remember, you have to catch em all!
While you’re here check out the Legendaries Reveal Trailer below and let us know what you think of the bright blue and orange designs in the comments section below… Personally, I think they look awesome!

Nintendo allows people who own a Nintendo Switch to save their game data on the cloud, meaning if you lose your Switch or damage it, you can pick up a brand new Switch and continue where you left off. Now, this feature is only available for those who are subscribed to the Nintendo Online Service, now not all games allow cloud backups and it seems Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be one of those games that do not allow cloud backups.
Director Aya Kyogoku and producer Higashi Nogami went over cloud backups and had this to say on the matter:
New Horizons will not be compatible with cloud backups to avoid manipulating time, which remains one of the founding concepts of the series
This news comes as a complete let down for fans who are looking to pick up the game as if you play the game for the next two years and lose your switch, unfortunately, you will lose your entire save data and will have to start a brand new game.

Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 is coming to Google Stadia; however, it will not have crossplay, which might be a reason as to why you will not be picking up the Google Stadia as we are still waiting to see if other games will have crossplay or not.
This week Bungie released a FAQ which you can check out here. In the FAQ Bungie go over how Stadia will not have crossplay this is what they had to say:
Stadia is its own ecosystem, just like current existing platforms. Stadia players will only be able to play with other Stadia players.
Bungie also went over cross-save capabilities, with one of the questions being. Can players merge different characters, items, or triumphs from different accounts?” In which Bungie goes on to say:
“Cross Save does not feature account, character, or progress merging. Selecting a primary account for Cross Save does not delete or alter the data of any other accounts.”
What do you think of this? Will this stop you from picking up a Google Stadia? Let us know in the comments below.
Gilded challenges were introduced for the Gilded Raam playable character back in March. And now They have added 5 new gilded Characters that are more accessible then Raam. The Gears 1 general requires the following 3 tasks:

Wow, I am currently Re-Up 1 so I am not sure I have enough time to reach Re-Up 10 before the deadline on September 2nd. For those of you that think like me and see no point in going back into Gears 4 do not fear! They have also shown 5 other characters the unlock for Gears 5 with easier more obtainable challenges.

Not only Cockneys, there’s also Scousers, Chavs, Brummies, Yorkies, southerners, and gangster grannies… Yes, Gangster Granny! She was awesome, a retired assassin who has a little spider-bot that electrocuted people and hacked computers.
Unlike 1 and 2, Watch Dogs 3 has no main character, and all the pedestrians can be recruited into Deadsec and become playable characters. All characters have their own specific skills and buffs so picking the right character for the mission will be crucial. Imagine State of Decay with drones instead of zombies. And Like State of Decay all characters have perma-death, so find characters you love but beware if you get attached you can lose them forever.

Are you a fan of swearing? Then this is the game for you, as a British man myself I can say that we swear an awful lot (sorry). I am sure this game will ship with an optional profanity filter for those of you that play around parents or young children.
According to a chat between Outside Xbox and the developers they went for authenticity over Accuracy. So, while are the roads my not be an accurate representation of London. The roads will look more British and the store fronts won’t match perfectly with what is actually there. It will look like if London looked like this it wouldn’t be out of place for Londoners.
What do you think about Watch Dogs Legion? Will you be travelling to good ol’ London town? Let us know in the comments below.
Nintendo’s traditional E3 Direct has come and gone, leaving gamers with excitement and a little confusion. Join us as we recap the most relevant and interesting talking points of this year’s Nintendo E3 Direct.
Zelda has long been one of the mainstays of Nintendo’s gaming line up. The success of Breath of the Wild was cause for many to believe that a sequel would pop up at some point. But no one expected it to happen quite so quickly. Yet here we are. Nintendo used a short clip to announce that the sequel to Breath of the Wild is currently in development. No official title or release date was given, so it is probably safe to say that this game is still at least a year or two away from being ready. Check out the video below.

It’s been two years since Metroid Prime 4 was announced by way of a logo. At that time, it was announced that Retro Studios would not be the ones to develop the next entry in the venerable Metroid series. Fast forward to January of this year and you get the announcement that development has been restarted and handed off to Retro after all. On one hand, it is disconcerting that so much time had been spent on the game, only to have to start over. But on the other hand, it’s good to know that Nintendo refused to release a product that was not up to their standards. This all goes to show that it was not entirely surprising that nothing was shown. Hopefully, E3 2020 will be the year of Metroid. If not, then it will definitely be time to panic.
Animal Crossing Delayed
The other hope for this year’s direct had been news about the upcoming Animal Crossing title for Switch. While there was some new footage showing crafting and fishing, there was also some bad news. The game is being delayed until March 20th, 2020. It was originally supposed to come out sometime in 2019, so the delay itself isn’t as bad as it could have been. As the saying goes, a delayed game is disappointing once, but a bad game is disappointing forever.
Luigi’s Mansion 3
Luigi’s Mansion 3 looks to be the Ghostbusters game you’ve always wanted. In the latest Direct, Nintendo showed off some features of the game that have garnered it some righteous hype. The gameplay showed the bungling Luigi hanging out in a hotel. Surprise! It’s haunted. Players will get to roam around as everyone’s second favorite plumber and bust some ghosts. First, you startle them with your flashlight, then you suck them up with your proton… err… ghost vacuum. In order to weaken some of the stronger ghosts, the layer will be able to smash them around. It looked very satisfying, especially when the player used one ghost to beat the living daylights out of a couple of other menacing spectres.
There was also a co-op mode announced called the ScareScraper. In this mode, 8 players (local or online) can team up to defeat a specific number of ghosts in a set amount of time. Think Rainbow 6 Siege’s Terrorist Hunt, but with cartoony plumbers and ghosts. Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be released later this year.
This. Is. Big. Banjo-Kazooie is an amazing get for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Not only because it is a great character that will fit in well in the already fleshed out Ultimate roster, but also for what it represents. You see, Microsoft owns Rare, which is the studio that made Banjo-Kazooie. So, the addition of this specific character signifies the ever-increasing cooperation going on between Nintendo and Microsoft.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is Coming to Switch
CD Projekt Red’s magnum opus will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch later this year. Witcher 3 was am amazing game. However, it’s sheer size, scope, and graphical prowess will be stuffed into the Switch. It has already been noted that there will be differences when running the game while the Switch is docked or in handheld mode.
Along with Metroid Prime 4, there were a few other notable things missing from Nintendo’s E3 Direct. There was no mention of a new update or version of the Switch, despite the rumor mill working overtime. Bayonetta and Star Fox were also absent, however, there was admittedly less of a chance of either game making an appearance this year.
Link’s Awakening was also shown. We already knew it was coming, thanks to an announcement made prior to E3, so there was no surprise there. But what was shown looked as engaging and charming as the original. A new dungeon creator mode was shown, which may help satiate the hunger for those gamers calling for a Zelda version of Mario Maker.
In addition to The Witcher 3, Alien Isolation will also be headed over to the Switch.
E3 may be winding down, but Nintendo has left us with a solid look at what is on the horizon.

Who do you think too the chicken dinner at E3 this year? And what do you think Sony are cooking up? Let us know in the comments section below!
First announced back in 2017, Square Enix gave us our first look at ‘Avengers.’ Now, a new trailer has been released with the release date 15th May 2020.
The game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal. From the new trailer the game looks to be in the visual style of the cinematic universe (without the actors we all know and love). Also, Square Enix’s ‘Avengers’ is to be a service game a bit like Destiny or The Division but it has been confirmed that there will be a few key differences. (No loot boxes and all characters and regions will be free to name a couple)
Anyway, without further a-do check out the trailer and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Recently at E3, a very controversial decision has been made. Deep Silver and YS Net in a twisted turn of events have decided to betray a large proportion of the people that first made Shenmue 3 possible.
It was announced at the PC Gaming Show just yesterday by Yu Suzuki himself that the PC version of the game would be exclusive to Epic’s Game Store… Update 102 on the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter states:
“We are happy to announce that Shenmue III for PC will be will be an Epic Games Store exclusive. Development for Shenmue III has been moving forward using Unreal Engine and the support we have received from Epic has been excellent. But most importantly, in looking for the most enjoyable experience on PC, it was decided together with Deep Silver after much discussion that the Epic Games Store would be the best distribution platform option.”
This ‘double dip’ decision has understandably not gone down well with Shenmue 3 backers… A number of sales and promises had been previously made to bring the title to Steam. In fact, Shenmue 3 is still showing on the Steam store. On top of this it was only within the previous update (101) that the Steam Client was required to play the game:
“UPDATE #101: Additional Info: Requires Steam Client to activate.”
“UPDATE #102: Additional Info: Requires Epic Games Store Client to activate.” ¬¬
I don’t want to hate Shenmue 3, but the decision to make the game an Epic Store exclusive at this point is an extremely bad one. If I had purchased a steam copy, whether that be from 3 years ago or just 3 days ago I would expect, at the very least a refund due to false advertising.
Backers that have requested refunds so far have been denied and sent the message:
“Thank you very much for contacting us, The launch was previously planned for distribution on Steam, however it was decided together with Deep Silver after much discussion that the Epic Games Store would be the best distribution platform option.”
“Shenmue III will be distributed through the Epic Games Store and will require the Epic Games Store Client to activate. We apologize for the sudden change in platform, however, refunds will not be granted for this change. We thank you for your support and look forward to delivering the Shenmue experience fans everywhere have been waiting so long for.”
Whatever happens from this point we’ll keep an eye on the situation… Let us hope this isn’t the ending to what has been, for a long time, a good relationship between a development team and a passionate community.
