Happy Monday, even though the day is almost over. Just stopping in for a quick minute to share this amazing romper I purchased at Forever 21. The thing I fell in love with the most was the colors in the romper. I love bold colors, and this romper definitely brought the business. Until next time!
Hello friends, can you believe we are in July already, time truly does fly when you’re having fun. Well… I’m back with my girls The Fab Five Fashionistas. We are showcasing our looks for July 4th. When I think about July 4th, the first thing I think about is fireworks. I’m like a little kid watching the fireworks, they are so amazing. The only downfall is, where I live fireworks are legal, and they will pop them all night. How can you not get excited about the fourth, from the delicious food, the pool parties, and all the cute fashions?
Enough of that, let’s get into the fashions. I had so many ideas of what I wanted to wear for this theme, but at the last minute, I changed my mind. So, I decided to keep it cute and comfy. As I was going through my closet, I spotted the cutest off the shoulder romper, that still had tags on it (purchased either last year, or the year before) and I knew it would be perfect for this theme. I paired the romper with my blue and white gingham mules, and can we say comfortable.
Now the only thing missing was the red, and the white. I opted to wear the cutest white hat I found on amazon fashions, and finished the look with red tassel earrings, and my favorite red bag. Ok… let me talk about my favorite red bag, she’s small, but so cute, and the shape of her makes her standout. I’m sorry to say my romper, and shoes are old, and no longer available online, so I will be sharing a few pieces I know you will love.
Mary is keeping it all the way classy in the Gabrielle Union blue and white stripped dress, and who doesn’t love stripes? I love how she added the pop of red with her sandals, and earrings. Mary was bringing the heat, with this year favorite bamboo bag. But, what I loved the most is the hat, it truly brought the entire look together. Looking great my friend, and so festive. You can see more of Mary’s look Here.
Lydia is giving me sexy, in her red cropped top. Side Note: I wish I was bold enough to wear cropped tops. I loved how she paired it with a blue and white polka dot skirt (polka dots are so fun), white sandals, and white earrings. Now, tell me how can you not get Fourth of July vibes from this look. Lydia is showing us all you can be sexy, but classy in her festive look. You can see more of Lydia’s look Here.
Ayesha look was cute and casual at its best, and I was so here for it. From the white top with the red and white gingham on the sleeve, to the stripped blue and white shorts, and those amazing gingham sandals. This look really spoke to my soul, as she showed us all being casual can look good, and she rocked it. You can see more of Ayesha look Here.
Reyni is knocking it out the park, in this bold polka dot red and white maxi dress. Reyni and I both live for a great maxi. And she definitely was ready for some fun in this flirty number. Reyni accessories brought the entire look together, do you see how stinky cute that bag is though. You can see more of Reyni look Here.
Hello friends, the time has come for me to say vacation over. Once again my plans were derailed by all the freaking rain we received here in Houston. So many things to do, but let’s be honest who likes traveling in the rain. Ok, enough with all that boring stuff. I’ve been a VIP member of JustFab for a while now. Normally I only buy shoes, because my past experience with clothing from them was a big fat miss. Fast forward years later, and I decided to give them another chance.
I ordered this beautiful floral off the shoulder dress, and I was so pleased. I especially love the overall fit of the dress, and all the details. It’s one of those dresses you can easily dress up or down. And you all know I love versatility. I opted to wear the most comfortable pair of heels in black, which also came from them. I’m here to tell you, give JustFab a try and I promise you will fall in love with more than shoes.
Hello all, I’m on yet another countdown mode to vacation. I will be spending that time in Louisiana, and doing some much needed spring cleaning in my house. Ok, enough of that let’s get to the real reason I’m here. I have always love the details of lace, and add in a bold color and I’m sold. This yellow lace dress had all the features this girl could ask for. I would have to say this piece is a must have for all women. I only wish they offered more colors. This lace dress offers a hint of sexy, with the off the shoulder look, and you know I’m here for it.
Now tell me… who can say “NO” to a great lace dress. When you think about lace, it’s one of those fashion pieces that will never go out of style. This dress can be dressed down with sneakers, or dressed up with heels. I opted to wear cobalt blue heels to add a little more color to the outfit, as if the yellow dress wasn’t enough. But, it’s something about cobalt and yellow that really makes me smile. How do you feel about lace dresses? On another note, I’m sad to say she is sold out online, but you may be able to find the dress in your local Target, yeah that’s right Target. However, I’m sharing another lace dress from Target that I know you will love.
Hello friends… I just had to stop in and share this budget friendly OTS dress that I know you will adore. I couldn’t get over the pattern on the dress, as it made the dress look more expensive, and the soft blue color. But guess what she was under $30 and so worth every penny. I love dresses I can find that offer soft colors, because after all they are so feminine.
The dress comes in white, and you guessed it I purchased that one as well. This time I decided to go with a smaller size, as I felt this dress was still a little big, but I rocked it anyway. If your looking for a great quality made dress then this is the one you need. I decided to pair the dress with pink accessories, and the cutest bamboo clutch.
Hello friends, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Today is my last day of vacation, and I’m feeling some type of way. Well… anywho I’m here to share the most flattering romper I own. You know it’s funny, my mom asked me if I thought I was to old for a romper. Yeah, I had time to think and the answer was astounding “NO”, I loved the way I look in this romper. I wear what makes me feel good, and you should too.
When I purchased this romper I had no idea how much I would love it. I just wish the Loft had other colors in it, trust me your girl would have them too. I must admit, the Wrap detail and the fact the romper had pockets were my favorite features. I knew I had to add some color, and of course I went with red. Who else thinks red is a great addition when adding color to your outfit? Ladies, remember in fashion, no rules apply. Have fun with your clothes, you might surprise yourself.
Hello friends, I’m on countdown mode to my vacation. Although I don’t have anything planned, it will be good just to relax. Every now and then you need a mental break from work. Well… I’m here to share a classic black and white polka dot dress with you all. For some reason, I can’t shake away from polka dots. I love them, and this dress was so stinky cute.
Can you say comfortable, this dress fit just right. I was so excited to wear it, and take photos in my hometown of Lake Charles, LA. I took these photos back in March, and realized I never blogged about it. Now tell me, what kind of friend would I be if I didn’t share her with you. The dress had all the qualities I like, from the ruffle detail on the sleeve, to the length. I love a great dress, that’s not uber short.
Pairing my black sandals (Two years old) with the dress really completed the look. When I first bought these sandals, I had no idea they would be this comfortable. I can literally walk in them for hours, and not feel it. You know as women, we need comfort when it comes to our shoes. Of course, these shoes are no longer available, I’m sharing a pair that I know you will love. I sealed the look with gold accessories, my straw hat, and straw bag all purchased from Sam Moon. Not available online, but if you live near one, stop in. I was finally ready to enjoy some great food with family.
You all know how much I love red, and this blouse was definitely no exception. One would probably think this was my favorite color, well believe it or not, purple is. But, I’m here to tell you Red is a close second. The color is rich and bold, and works well with my skin tone.
As I was looking at photos from the past, I realize I wore a great deal of dark colors. Well… I have decided I need color in my life, it’s so much fun. What about you? Not sure if this is all in my head, but my mood tends to change when I have on pretty bold colors. I decided to pair the top, with jean shorts that I scored for $10, yeah that’s right. Your girl believes in bargain shopping!
Summer is fast approaching, and this round red bag is a must have. Round bags are so on trend right now. I just wish I would have ordered the black one. Of course I still have time to place that order, and you know I will. It’s a lightweight bag, but can hold the most important things us girls need. Are you enjoying the round bag trend?
Happy Thursday friends! I love a great maxi dress. So, if you’re looking for a flattering maxi, then stop what you’re doing and head to New York and Company and pick this baby up. The dress is part of the Eva Mendes collection. She is ultra flattering, and I look forward to showcasing this beauty again. I love when I find a dress, that has so many colors in it, the possibilities are endless. The only downfall was the length of the dress. Yeah, I could have gotten it altered because I’m a petite gal, but I was so excited to wear it, I went with the flow.
When you look at this dress, how could you not see Summer? Definitely a perfect dress for a day out with the girls, or even a date with that special someone. Lately, I’ve been drawn to more colorful dresses. If you are not into colors, I urge you to step out of your comfort zone. Fashion is meant to be fun, and color is FUN. Don’t knock it until you try it, I promise you will be hooked. PS. I also had the opportunity to finally visit the Sugar and Cloth Wall. If you live in Houston or visiting, stop by and snag a few photos. I’m linking the address Here.
