Valid

As a man, your hair is a definite turn on for the opposite sex. Not only is your hair instrumental in upping your sex appeal you need great hair and good grooming to make a favorable first impression in any situation. If you have a business or are employed in a corporate job, you need great hair not only to increase your own confidence but to increase the good opinion others will have on you. You need a good hairstyle to create a professional look that will convey that you are trustworthy and capable. A hairstyle that is keeping with the trends will give you a modern and energetic look. Great hair will make you feel proud of yourself and it is just one of the factors in your overall style that you have to maintain and give focus on.

Your Haircut and You

Before you get your barber’s scissors to get close to your precious tresses you have to ask yourself what kind of personality you have. A hairstyle creates a character so you have to ask yourself what kind of character do you want to convey? Your activity and your traits should be played up in your hairstyle. So, ask yourself if you are the type who is constantly in the office working or the athletic type who is always out there playing soccer on the field. Your haircut will box you to a stereotype in which people will judge you buy so choose your box carefully. For example, men who have short hair which is longer at the front which characterizes the Fringe, Pompadour, and Faux Hawk styles are seen as confident and handsome. These are men are also seen as more egotistical. Men who have medium hair on the other hand, such as those who sport a Side part are seen as clever and qualified. Men with long hair come across as amiable but less qualified. Going by this, hair really does have an impact on people’s perception of you so if you want to fit in a certain industry or activity getting the right hairstyle is crucial.

Classic

Classics are subdued and minimalist haircuts. Classics go for balance and well-recognized styles. Classics are good for the workplace because it is generally elegant and simple although not overly conservative. Haircuts of this type often have soft finishes that go well with reserved tailoring.  Some styles under the Classic type are Side parts, Comb Over and Fades.

Athletic

This is great for men who love streetwear fashion and prefer the active lifestyle. You love great style but you put a premium on comfort and conveying a sporty vibe. If you have an office job you can pull off the style of two worlds by choosing the right haircut.  Go for Buzz cuts, Crew cuts, or even Top Knots.

Rugged

Your brawny and you’re rugged and you’re not afraid to show it. You enjoy the great outdoors and probably have an occupation related to it. You probably have a scruffy full beard which conveys you’re a toughie with a soft interior. You can play up your mountain man style by getting the appropriate haircut such as a Fade, Undercut, Pompadours, and even a Man Bun.

Vintage

Vintage gives you a touch of historical charm. If you want to be a dashing figure of romance you can accessorize accordingly and dress your hair for the part. Choose a hairstyle that is appropriate for history with a modernized flair. Hairstyles you can choose from include Side Parts, Pompadours, and long Swept Back Hair.

Eccentric

To be eccentric is to be adventurous and attracted to the limelight. You love high fashion and everything that is bold and out of the ordinary. You may combine a variety of styles. If you fit in this category then you can incorporate elements of the Undercut, Pompadour, Fringe, Man Bun or Faux Hawk to create a brand-new style.

A large part of good fashion for men is a good hairstyle. Whatever you choose for your hairstyle be sure to have the personality pull it off. You begin to own your hairstyle only if you live it. Complete your ensemble with a great wardrobe including men’s wallets leather to put all your important stuff in. A perfect look means having everything in place just right from head to toe.
