I have been a lot of things in life a son, a father, a husband, a family member, a friend, an athlete and many more. The most important thing I have realized being so many things to so many people is to be optimistic, have a plan, and take action. Clifford Starks is one of the best lifestyle mentors in Arizona who provides you the best solution when it comes to getting where you want in life.
As of late I have been on this quantum physics kick, and the one thing I do know is even the quantum physicist do not quite understand it. It truly is a fascinating topic to research though. So Let’s dive into this one and see what we can come up with. Always love hearing others opinions on the subject so please leave a comment leaving your thoughts as well.
What The Heck
There is a place were thought actually has a place in the world of quantum physics. It goes as far as explaining that our thoughts help to create our reality. So I often ask myself how far does this really go. One thing that was always interesting to me was the reality I have lived in myself.
I always do my best to stay positive with the people and situations presented to me, and one thing that was always very cool to me was how quickly the clients I coach see results. My goal as a mindset coach and personal trainer is to get people’s minds and bodies working for them instead of against themselves. When ever I work with a client I always see them as more than they see themselves, and most of the time they do not disappoint. They become the person I always knew they had in them. It really is one of the coolest experiences to witness. Even after doing it for 17 years, I still love to see it.
Yet I have seen others coaches who have used the same techniques I have used and their clients do not see the same results, and it makes me wonder did my thoughts play a role in the process? Did seeing a person being their best help the process come to fruition? Quantum Physics would say that it does. Thoughts hold real power, a lot more than we often realize at that. So be careful with the things that you tell yourself, because I feel it is more powerful than we still have an understanding of.
Quantum Physics and the power of thought (How deep does the rabbit hole go!) - YouTube
It really is quite a phenomenon that I feel we will understand further as we continue on the journey, but the truth is the more we understand the more we realize we do not know. I am just expressing my thoughts on the matter and my own personal truth, and that is we have infinite power within our grasp. I have seen the most amazing things. Add a powerful focused thought with a powerful focused action and you get to witness greatness at its best.
So that is what I do. My expression is for people to shine bright in their own gifts. Imagine an entire world illuminated with being conscious of the greatness that you hold as an individual and the greatness that the society holds because everyone is going into their greatness.
Let us continue to strive and understand more every day we are here. I don’t know a lot about quantum physics, but I do know that thought plays a role in it. I also know that a person who gets 1% better every day is 37x better in 1 year. So I will continue to learn and grow through my journey, and my thoughts are that you will do the same.
We have all been there, that nervous feeling that come over you and puts you in a state of panic. Everyone has their own way of feeling their own nervousness, from a pit in the stomach, to their heart racing, and even sometimes becoming sweaty.
It can be a daunting feeling, especially if just thinking about it makes you even more nervous. So what do you do to overcome it, and take yourself to the next level of your success?
I am going to give you a few strategies to help you through those nervous feelings that may be holding you back from being your best self.
How to overcome nervousness 2019 (You will get better after you watch this video) - YouTube
Take A Breath
Sometimes it really is as simple as taking a moment to breath, and do your best to focus directly on your breath. Focusing on that helps you to get past the state of nervousness, and it will even help you to take deeper breaths as people who are nervous tend to have shallow breathing as well.
So make sure to take a moment and breath deep.
Talk With Yourself
Have you ever been extremely nervous and just having the right persons company all of a sudden calmed you down? We don’t always have that special person with us during times of extreme nervousness, but the good thing about that is you can be that person.
Learn to be your own best friend, speak with yourself, and remind yourself that everything is going to be good.
The cool thing about being human is we have all sorts of habits we can create. We can create bad ones, but we can also create good ones as well. If every time you touch your hand you think about a pleasant moment you hand, practice creating a habit of that. When you are feeling very nervous you can now touch your hand to reset you if you have to.
Know State You’re In
Remember nervousness does not define who you are. It is just moments like anything else. You can learn from the nervousness that you are having. Putting yourself in a strong state of awareness, and learning the best ways to deal with it. Nervousness can also be a very good thing if you allow it to be. It is the body’s way of keeping you alert and aware, and if you are in a place of feeling abundant it will not lock you down, it will empower to stay ultra aware to the situation you are going into.
Keep Being Great
Their is greatness in you, and you know how you feel when you are living in it. My challenge to you is to live in it as much as possible. Create the life that you deserve to live, and go out and do great things! Have a great day!
Hello everyone, today feels like a great day to remind you that you are a worthy! Who am I to say that you are worthy? I am always looking to improve, competing at the highest level of competition and coaching 100s of clients through tough times to get them to live in their greatness. I am always looking to grow and improve, and I have read and achieved the definition of success and happiness.
So what’s my secret? It all starts with worth. People need to feel they are worth something in order to do worth wild things in life. That’s why I need you to believe it when I say it to you. Your worth will determine what you do next, so make it something special.
You deserve to love yourself, and if you feel unloved, or worthless, I will be the person who will tell you that you are worthy. You have something no one can ever take from you. Your own special story, so make sure it is a story worth telling about.
Take the time to feel loved and appreciated.
The funny thing is when people ask me, what makes you unique. My answer is no one can love a person the way that Clifford Starks loves a person. I have my own unique way of expressing love to others so that they are willing to do the things they have to, to live the life they were meant to live.
Shout it out from the roof tops if you have to. You are a worthy person, who was meant to do your own special and unique thing the world needs from you!

Being a mindset coach I often get into the details with my clients on how to conquer their fears. Sometimes though the most important thing to tell a person is to take action. It can come from a message, an action, or even a video.
Here is a video I have created on overcoming fear, and going into your greatness. Remember fear can be real, but the way we perceive it and take action despite it is more important!
The layers of being a human being is truly one of the fascinating things to me. We as people are filled with enchantment, power, creativity, and many other wonders that I can speak on for hours on end. Today I want to speak about the subconscious mind, and how magnificent it really is in the process that is your life.
What Is The Subconscious
The subconscious is the part in your mind that is working without any conscious thought. An example would be your heart beating, the breathing that you are doing, even food digestion all happens at the subconscious level. Are habits are even implemented at a subconscious level. Have you ever done something without even really thinking about it? Some habits that we do are so rooted in us that people may feel they are a part of us, and cannot be changed.
The truth is we can change the habits that we have, and we can actually do it rather quickly. It does come down to following a process and putting it together correctly, and it definitely has to do with subconscious programming as well.
Power Of Thought
It seems like an easy solution to say you will be what you think in life. If you think it you become it. The process is a bit more than that though. Remember are brains can be quite tricky, and if you try to believe in something you honestly do not believe to be true, you will sabotage that belief every time.
You must be able to commit to your belief whole heatedly to make it come to fruition. Forcing a belief that you do not hold as true will only strengthen the subconscious action of the reality you always have.
So how do you deal with a dilemma like this one? Pretending does not help and you cannot trick the subconscious into a reality you do not believe.
Here is a thought though. Be completely honest with yourself. Allow yourself to express its doubts. It doesn’t mean you have to validate them, but acknowledge that they are there.
Teach your subconscious mind to build healthy habits - YouTube
The subconscious is an amazing piece of the overall structure of what is you. It does all the work in the background. All you have to do is to allow it to do it.
Back to questioning and expressing your doubts. Let’s play a game! Have you ever heard the term “when pigs fly?” It is a term used to state that something is impossible. So start with going there, logically let the mind process how crazy it is for pigs to fly.
Now for a moment question your logic. Ask yourself could pigs really fly. Then allow yourself to visualize a way pigs might actually be able to fly. It seems a bit nuts, but maybe there is a way that pigs could actually fly. Try taking it a step further and go 100% in. In your mind you know for certain there is a way that pigs can fly! You’re not sure how, but some way somehow you are going to see a pig fly! Think about it for a while and see what you come up with.
Did you see a pig in an airplane flying by chance? Some may have and some may not have, but the subconscious is a muscle just like anything else. The more you practice with it the stronger it gets. If you see solutions it will look for them until it finds one or twenty. That is the strength of the subconscious. The only thing you logically have to do is willingly except that there is a solution somewhere.
This will take practice like anything any life. The more you practice it the better you will get. I like to say the opportunities are in the obstacles. If I am ever unsure of a solution, that’s ok. I know it is in there somewhere. It comes down to me just to look at it. You see it is important to respect the conscious as much as the subconscious. They really do work hand in hand.
Strengthen them both. Give reason to the conscious to believe that it is possible so that the subconscious will go to work for you.
Power And Responsiblity
I realize that sometimes people believe just thinking it and poof you get what you need. Not quite, remember the logic has to understand it too. That is where some work lies. If for example you can only do 20 push-ups and you say I know I can do 75 push-ups, will not magically make that a reality. The work has to be involved to get there. You can see yourself as already doing 75 push-ups, but it will take the combination of knowing it is possible and putting in the work to get there.
You are infinitely powerful. Trust me, I have worked with 100s of clients and helped many of them find success they never knew they had. It takes effort, but anything worth having always does. Just remember it all starts with the things we say to ourselves and the actions that we are willing to take.
My pursuit in fighting started in 2009. I was 28 years old and being an athlete in high school and college I missed competition. So I decided why not give it a try and see what I can do. The journey was much tougher than I expected!
The only experience I had was my wrestling experience when I decided to take my shot at becoming a professional fighter. I knew there was a lot to learn, I just never realized how much I had to.
I started off at a local gym. Training in jujitsu classes, which is a grappling art originating in Brazil. I had been doing it for about a month and a boxer asked me if I wanted to spar. I thought to myself sure it sounds like fun, two guys getting some work in. Well I was very wrong. I landed one punch as he pummeled me.
I really had no idea how had boxing really was until I did it with someone who actually knew how to do it lol. After sparring, he told me I was tough and could do really well in the sport. In my mind I believed he was nuts to say that as I did not pose much of an offense, but he told me that I had a fighters spirit and the techniques would come with practice.
Getting beat up that badly taught me a couple of things. One there was a lot to learn and that I could take a pretty good punch without wilting. Probably all of those years of wrestling building my neck strength.
If I was going to go anywhere in the sport of MMA I knew I was going to need to take it seriously. Being someones punching bag was not a future I wanted to have. So I searched around for the best gyms in Arizona. With all the searching Arizona Combat Sports was the one I chose. They were known for getting guys to the highest level of the sport, and they had Ryan Bader, C.B. Dolloway, and Aaron Simpson, which were past wrestling partners at A.S.U.
When I got there it was more of the same, a lot of getting beat up and tapped. The coaching there was amazing though, and I started picking the techniques up rather quickly. You can never truly learn anything without taking your lumps though. It is part of the process. Learn, apply what you learn, give it your all, see what works and what doesn’t, and do it all over again.
People sometimes wish you can just take the learn without the lumps, but just like everything in life it does not work that way. It is a game of trial and error.
What fighting in the UFC taught me - YouTube
Real Test Build Real Character
Fighting is probably the hardest thing I have ever willingly done. It tests you in ways that I have never been tested before. It is extremely empowering for the spirit. If you can get through it you feel empowered enough to get through anything. The process is very intense for several reasons.
I will never forget my first fight. I could hear the voices in my head going crazy. One was telling me that I can do it. Another was saying that I was crazy. It was intense. I did my best to shut up the doubtful voice and listen to the one who told me I can do this.
As I stood there looking at my opponent the hairs on my arms rose, and I was ready to go. I put in the work and was dedicated through the entire process. It was game time, and time to see who was going to be the better man that day. The bell rang and the fight begun.
It was a rush starting out. Both of us were giving it are all. That is not were it gets tough though. The first few minutes are fun because you are fresh, but once you get tired is when you get to see who you really are. What are you going to do when you are tired. How will you respond? I remember getting exhausted and the doubting voice became louder than ever, but I fought him off. I didn’t care what he had to say. It was up to me to do my damn best no matter what, and that’s what I did.
I ended up winning that night, and it was a hell of a rush. Nothing is better than when you conquer the tests you set out.
Everyone who fights at the UFC and Bellator are on another level of fighting. You have to really put in the work to get a shot there and be 100% disciplined. The room for error is so low at that level, and that is what I loved about it. I wanted to see how much I could push myself.
The goal was to always bring the best Clifford Starks come fight night. Fighting is not easy physically or mentally. There are times things just do not go your way. I have also dealt with injuries while going through training camp. Honestly when you get to that level most fighters do, because it is better to come in over trained than under trained.
It is grueling and you will be tested.

You Only Lose If You Quit
I am very grateful for all the experiences fighting has given me. You get to will the voices in your head by the actions you take. When someone tells you that you cannot do something, you just keep doing it until you learn how to do it. You have to take real action though. If you half-ass it you will get half-ass results, and fighting in a cage with another professional fighter is the last place you want to do that.
Fighting in the UFC was an absolute blast. You get to fight with the highest level of competition and test yourself both mentally and physically. What I have learned is to always give it your all. The body and mind are both amazing pieces of work, and knowing that you have to respect them as such.
Go all in on your life, because when you do life will go all in on you. Yes there will be bumps, and at times you will fall, but you only lose if you decide to quit. Never quit in life! You will be grateful that you didn’t!
Applying Fighting To Life
I feel everyone has a fighter in them, and it is up to each person to pull the fighter out of them out. Sometimes life can beat on you, and make you feel like you have nothing left. It’s up to you to get back up. That’s why I tell people take the opportunity to test yourself in life.
Fighting at the highest level was a great opportunity to see what I would do when the chips were down. You can always get better at something, but you never know if you are truly better until you are tested. My greatest lesson out of all of it is take control of your life and test yourself, so that you are ready when life test you!
Being a keynote speaker and a transformation coach has truly been a blessing in my life. I have been given the honor and privilege to hear so many success stories. There are certain habits that need to be met to create a true success story, and I would like to share some of my experiences with you. I would also like to challenge you to go out and create your own success.

The True Power Of People
Being a transformation coach for over 16 years, I have seen the power of the human spirit, and it is usually much stronger than people give it credit for. You can literally get through anything that is thrown your way. With the right strategy and support system a person can achieve some of the greatest feats, and fly higher than they every believed possible.
It does not matter where you start in life. You can get to and have the things that you and desire. The coolest thing about all of this is the people that I have worked with have gone much further than they ever thought possible. I would like to share why this is and if you have not started your own path I challenge you to do the same.
The Power To Empathize
When it comes to being a coach and a speaker, I want those I work with to feel safe and comfortable with me. Just telling them I care and what to do the best is not enough. It truly is important to really understand the clients you work with.
All the clients I have worked with become my friends. Some might say that is not professional, but how can you truly help someone if you cannot consider them a friend. I know friendship takes things to a deeper level. Yes you still have your boundaries, but give 100% energy into those you work with. That’s where the results are, I want to understand you, and listen to your story, and give my best to make the next chapter in your life the best one you have written.
That alone gets those I work with to open up fully to me and trust me. I even go as far as thinking of ways I can help outside of the sessions we have. It’s what I love to do, every time I hear a new success story it is all worth it. Putting 100% in people make them want to put 100% into me. It is the most powerful exchange that you can get.
Think about someone you really love. How far would you go for them? I would imagine you would do everything in your power to give them your very best! That is how I want my clients to be with me. I want them to give their very best, but it all starts with them knowing that I truly care, and want the best for them and their success.
I have heard their deepest darkest secrets and I respect the fact that they would be willing to share that with me. It is about being a judgment free zone and it is about getting them to the promised land. Teaching them how to build the necessary habits to get to the success I always knew they were capable of. It’s what truly makes me happy.
The Test We Take
Anything worth doing in life is going to come with some challenges, and what I speak on and coach people on is no different. There are tests that I put my clients through. This test are both mentally and physically taxing. I remind those I work with not to worry though. You can only fail if you give up, and I will love you regardless of the outcome.
That love for others is truly a powerful thing. Letting them know they are going to be loved really puts them in a frame of mine to do their best. That’s all I ever ask, just do your best. The worst that can happen is you are a little better than the last time. Have no regrets and give it everything you got!
If you have a challenge that makes you nervous use your nervousness as energy. Let it strengthen you. The most exciting feeling is passing the most difficult challenges put in front of us!
Imagine having someone remind you what the test is for, the better you is on the other side of the test we take. That is the importance behind it. Not to feel bad if it didn’t go the way you wanted, but to rejoice, learn, grow, and do it again.
Pick The Right Team
I titled this “Speak To The Heart” because you need those in your life who will speak to yours. With the right words and the right actions you can achieve the greatest of heights. The reverse is also true with the wrong words and wrong actions you can end up not living up to even half of your potential. Please make sure to live the best life you can, without regret. Pick those on your team wisely.
They say you become the 5 people that you surround yourself with. That’s why I make sure to surround myself with those who will push me to be my best. I also make sure to do that with my clients as well. I want them to give me their very best. Remember there is greatness in you!
If you have anything to share please do. I would love to hear your success story. Also, if you would like to reach out to me you can contact me at email@example.com I would love to be a part of your success as well. Have a blessed day!
Being a coach and deep diving into human psychology, I know you have probably gone through every emotion there is to have in the book. I am not going to list them all but the basic ones are anger, fear, anxious, hurt, embarrassed, happy, joyful, excited, and the list goes on.
Some emotions are clearly more enjoyable than others, yet in life we cannot always promise how we will feel about having these emotions.
I know often times we often hear the saying that we get to choose how we feel about something, yet I have to challenge that belief. While I do believe perception of a situation is important, there is also an amount of training that goes into learning how to control your emotions.
It is the same thing as taking a person who can only do 25 push-ups at one time. If I told them hey it is all in your head you can do more than that. It would probably propel you to do more maybe even closer to 35 more, but you would not be able to all of a sudden do 75 or 80 reps on belief alone. That is where proper training and work towards your goal comes in. I will be using this metaphor again explaining emotion training.
Control Your Emotions or They Will Control You
Having an emotional response to the things we do, and the life we live are important. They help us to create the life that we want to live. They also help us when it comes to avoiding or understanding when we are in a dangerous situation.
Controlling your emotions does not mean to become emotionless, but to know when to tailor your emotions to the situation.
An example would be if you get in a fight with your significant other. You both are yelling at each other, and neither side is feeling heard in the situation. Leading to hurt things being said about one another. At the end of it all both sides are hurt and angry. There are also things that have been said to the person you love that you can no longer take back. In a case like this that is the definition of not having emotional control.
Let’s take that same situation and see what individuals with proper control would do. Both sides are upset with one another. They realize their frustration, and are able to express their frustrations and agree to speak about the disagreement when heads are cool. No hurt feelings, just knowing that you cannot express yourself or even listen to another when you are angry like that.
It truly is empowering for you and for those around you when you can have proper control of your emotions.

Understand Your Dark Side
I love people and the capabilities that we have. We are each unique to what we are individually. Each one of us handling stress differently from the other. I will say that the hardest time for one to handle their emotions properly is during times of intense stress. That is the time when are the darkest sides can come out.
First and for most it is important to accept that you have a dark side to you. Usually pretending it is not there can lead to a very problematic situation for you. The dark side is not bad if controlled and also understood. Knowing and understanding what brings it out is important and you should be honest with yourself about it.
The dark side can be when someone says or does something that absolutely annoys you, or a persons beliefs that anger you. It can come out in several ways and is usually the worse under very stressful times in your life. The example of the couple fighting is the dark side coming out in both of you. Leading to a clash where neither side wins. Darkness does not get rid of darkness, it just builds up.
Remember to accept yourself for where you are starting. Like the example with the push-ups, if you can only do 25 push-ups that is ok. You just have to train yourself to be able to do more. The same is true for emotional control. This is not an overnight process. With proper training and time you will get better though.
Stress Is what sends our emotions out of control. So it is controlled stress that we have to do in order to practice controlling emotions. Of course talk to your doctor or physician before deciding to take on any type of program.
The good thing about stress is the mind cannot always tell the difference from one stress to another. An example would be doing a cold shower, will make you respond with elevated heart rate, hyperventilating, and wanting to jump out of the shower. Anger can hold similar traits. Elevated heart rate, shallow breathing, and wanting to yell your way out of a fight.
So taking on stressful situations in a controlled setting will build your tolerance to handle the situation. As you get better at dealing with the stressors you put on yourself, you can start imagining how you would handle stressful situations differently this time around. (If you feel unready for handling external stress, you can even start with a non stressful situation with imagining the situation or person that stresses you out. This is a process, and each person is different. So learn what works best for you.)
For example taking a cold shower and imagine yourself with your significant other and both being angry. See yourself handling the situation in a calmer manner. Practicing two stressors together can be great work for emotional training. Practicing calming your breathing down and being able to take in the situation in a relaxed state. A calm breath, leads to a calm heart, which leads to a calm response.
The ability to use imagery and external stressors are incredibly powerful. You are strengthening your mind muscle to handle stress and your emotions more efficiently. Just like doing more push-ups you have to take the action and practice the movements. Let the muscles adapt. Let your mind muscle adapt to handling stressful situations in a better manner.
The list is truly limitless on what stressors you can create for yourself, and everyone is different so different things work for different people. A couple of examples are sprinting, playing a challenging game, swimming intensely, public speaking, competing in something challenging, and the list goes on.
Challenge your mind, body, and spirit, so that you have control over your emotions and they will not have control over you.
Being a life coach, I have been given the opportunity to help many clients learn to control their emotions safely. If you ever need help with controlling your emotions or moving in the right direction to get started, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I know often times we can get lost in are pursuit of the greatness that we are looking for. It can become quite easy to get lost now with more information coming are way more than ever. Some become depressed, anxious, and unsure of their own reality.
Finding your higher self can be one of the most enlightening and exciting experiences to have, but the question is often asked what is your higher self, and how do you find it?
I think the answer is simpler than a good deal of might think. Let’s dive into the subject and get you to move in the direction you know in your heart you should be moving in.
When you are looking to find your higher self it really comes down to being put into the perfect internal and external scenario. This will all make more sense as I cover the two very important aspects.
One thing people can have trouble with is being happy in their own life. Happiness really stems from an internal place. Try smiling or even thinking of a time when you were happy. If you are happy right now I am glad you are you keep it up.
This is what happiness is something that we are capable of conjuring up with our own free will. This is not to say that during tough or sad times it is more difficult to be happy. It most certainly is, but you can still choose it and the more you practice being happy the faster you will get back to it when difficult times come around.
This is absolutely a crucial component when it comes to being your higher self. A happy person is open and in a place where they can think clearer and make more rational decisions for them self and others around them.
The most important thing one can control is their mood. If you have ever gotten in an argument with somebody thinks about how much easier things were when heads were cool and in a happy state of mind. You probably found it easier to come up with solutions to make both parties happy. That is the power that happiness holds. So do your best to be aware of this power that you can tailor and practice it whenever possible. You will be glad that you did.
Each person has different thoughts as to what success means to them, and what success they would like to achieve in life. Some may want to make a certain amount of money, while another person might want to prepare for a competition to win. No matter what your idea of success is deep down inside everyone wants it.
Even for those who claim they do not want it may have failed at achieving it or believed it was going to give them something that it could not possibly give one its own. Success is something external. Specific goals you are attempting to achieve. It is important to keep these goals difficult enough because obtaining a difficult goal is rewarding for you. It is true if the goal is difficult enough you will stumble and make mistakes, but remember you have only failed if you have given up. Also, a failure does not mean you are done. You may have to change your goals, if you have given it 100% and things just didn’t work out. That is ok, be a person that takes action. It really is the best way to learn and grow.
Have you ever accomplished something worth wild, and if you did how did you feel?
Find your higher self-Get excited in life - YouTube
Happiness and Success
This is where things get really fun. Happiness is internal as I mentioned before, and success is external. You want to have both to have true excitement in your life. Your higher self lies in the happiness and pursuit and obtaining of difficult successes. It will absolutely ignite the soul.
I have had many clients go through this process, and have had amazing results with it. Bring both the internal and the external in alignment.
It’s often times funny to me when I hear that all you need is to be happy in life. The truth is you could be happy sitting at home watching Netflix, and that day will come when you ask yourself. What have I really done with my life? You cannot possibly get excited doing the same thing over and over in life, with no challenges to pursue.
The same is true with just success. You can reach all your goals and not be happy. Just bitter and angry with no rhyme or reason. Pursuing success and conquering them, yet not feeling fulfilled.
The real key is when you put the two together. A happy person ready to take one real challenges, that will test you to see just how far you can really take it. Going all in one those obstacles beating them and saying to yourself, yes I did it! Feeling alive!
Higher Self is Forever
One important thing to remember is that higher self you are looking for is something that you are always doing. Once you have happily obtained a success, enjoy the moment and then seek out for the next one. Just like your healthy you are never just done.
The best part about it though is when you get really good at the process, you have created habits of the thrill of healthy excitement. Knowing you are a person that takes action and goes all in one themselves. It really is the ultimate investment of self.
So strive for great things in life and do it with a smile one your face. Your time is now. Show the world what your higher self can do. Take one tough challenges and once you have conquered those go big and take one a tougher one! It is your story so make it a great one!
