According to the National Education Association, May 8, 2018 is Teacher Appreciation Day. While we know about the current situation in Arizona and the #RedforED movement is in full force alongside our teachers in the private sector, that doesn't mean we cannot show appreciation to all those who are invested in our children.
Our teachers in the private and public sector could all use a little extra love this year and we are on deck. We have grab and go arrangements and wraps for your favorite teacher or call ahead to order or for deliveries.
Let us know what you need for your favorite teacher...call 602-840-4646 or order online here at anytime.
Reminder: Passover and Easter wraps are $25. SAT/SUN 9AM-2PM.

We believe everyone should find and nurture their sense of place. When we select items for the shop from the finishes to the minerals to the blooms, we are intentional to create a space here that we hope will transcend-and become more than just a location...we want that transcendence to extend to your place.
In your home, whether temporary or permanent in the desert, what role can we play to make your space more than just a location?
We have imported textiles and pieces for your kitchen for hospitality or just for you. These shots were taken in the morning when the light in the shop is just perfection.
Come by the shop and see what is happening. We are looking forward to being tagged in your place.
PS Remember tomorrow is Fresh Flower Happy Hour at the shop. All florals are half off til close.

While Teresa is away in China for 10 days, we thought we would honor some of the incredible Chinese artists painting what else, florals.
"Born Zhu Da, Bada Shanren was a direct descendant of a prince in Ming Dynasty. He was a child prodigy who started to create art and poetry in early childhood. The fall of Ming Dynasty led to Zhu Da becoming a Buddhist monk. After 40 years, he quit monastic life and became a professional painter. Zhu also took many pseudonyms. One of them is Bada Shanren, the name by which he is known today. Apart from being the leading painter of his time, Shanren was a complete eccentric and individualist. His paintings are known for capturing the very essence of the flowers, plants and creatures he portrays."
Come into the shop anytime for inspiration or inspire us with your Chinese infused arrangements needed.
If your beloved got all wrapped up in the beautiful flowers that were delivered this Valentine's Day or you received flowers and thought, why not continue with all the goodness...we have our most popular and most sought after answer: The Wrap Club.
It is easy breezy lemon squeezy. You order and we deliver a beautiful seasonal design wrapped either weekly, bimonthly, or monthly. $45.
PS We have a beautiful collection of art right now that I cannot seem to shake. Its breathtaking, its moving, it says more than I can say. A collection by the Fourtoul Brothers and pieces by Faith Christiansen Smeets.
Fresh flower delivery subscription We hand-select all of our flowers for our special wraps so that they are new and different each time but still have a clean, modern, organic look that can easily compliment any home or office.
The Wrap has anywhere from 8-18 stems. This will vary season to season. For instance, if peonies and artichokes are in season, they are typically a bit more expensive, and you may only get a few stems mixed with a few other seasonal varieties. If we use giant spider mums, and other less expensive flowers, you will get more stems. Value, size and design will always be present.
