The boring bug by Freaksneha - 1d ago

A seeker for a divine serenity
amidst darkness it paves its way,
Shining and glowing explicitly,
For the magic it leaves behind affectionately.
But little does one know,
The twilight it sees,
Despite the shine it leaves
It flashes.
Ofcourse it is skeptical of the path ahead
Yet it leaps in to the air anyway.

रूह भी तेरी
अक्स भी तेरा
इल्म भी तेरी
रुख ये मेरा

जान गवारा
राहगुज़र।

The soul is yours
so is the shadow,
the enmity
but directed at me.

दीदार हूँ
तेरे रुखसार का,
एक दफा मुड़ के
देख तोह सही।

And suddenly it all seem cold,
The fire within untold.
The thoughts that took flight,
The eyes locked tight.
All I wanted,
Someone to hold.
But my heart there, fleetingly stilled.
My hopes I see
Lost unwilling killed.

Would you lean on me?
When I stumble down.
Would you lean me?
When I break down.
I am on empty road,
With lights above me,
I am on empty road,
With darkness that follows.
I held on every flower,
That eventually turned decay,
At least to me from the view I tried to dismay.
I held on to every light,
But alas, it eventually blurred my vision,
And I force to shut my eyes even more so tight.
Would you lean on me?
When I turn my back
Would you lean on me?
When I force myself
To not objectify.
Would you lean on me?
When I stand weak,
Would you lean on me?
When I smile with broken tears.

Her radiant smile
warming the insolent hearts,\
as dust settles.

Driving through my texts,
I noticed some forgotten thoughts.
Rotting in pages.
Probably left alone in conscience.
Letters melting before,
crumbling
like a gigantic mountain
that had seen zenith
but couldn’t resist it’s urge for more.
The ideas,
the creativity,
and vision,
seemingly trapped within
a clobberstone.
Waiting to be grated,
to fret upon.
But this lazy author,
cramped with time and responsibilities,
still soaring
on the wings of hope.

With the passage of time,
one observes the change in nature.
A tree,
which once pierced zenith,
reaches the brim of extinction
upon the arrival of a storm.

The magnanimous effects of aging.

Brazen,
it’s grazed by the memories of its youth.
The memories of might,
whence it was indomitable.
An era of victory over nature.
Braving one storm after another.
Sowing its seeds of wisdom
where none dared to reach.

However,
deplored of life,
performing the duties to the core,
it does work one last time.
Sheltering the surrounding
till it’s dying breath.
Wondering,
was he really mighty or
it was just the nature at play?
