TWO MEN AND A TRUCK teams are fully submerged into the busy moving season all around the country and internationally, as our professional moving teams are working harder than ever to move people to their next steps in life.

Being a home mover is an incredibly taxing profession, and at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, we strive to hire the best team members to enter our customers’ homes and move their most prized possessions. It’s a rewarding experience for our moving teams as they establish relationships with customers and truly lend them a helping hand with one of life’s most stressful events.

We spoke with team members from our Pasadena, Cali., location to find out just what goes into a day in the life as a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK mover or driver.

Here’s what they had to say!

How does a typical day start as a mover/driver?

“Usually, we just prep our trucks and make sure we have the right equipment for the upcoming move. We call the customer ahead of time and ask them if there is anything they need like boxes, or if they have changed their mind on something last second so we can adjust and bring the proper equipment.”
– Jose Morales

How long does it take to get ready?

“It varies, depending on whether the truck needs something special like boxes, or if the truck needs to be swept out. It all varies, but it’s usually between 15 and 20 minutes, 30 minutes at the most to get ready to go.” – Abraham Baustista

How long does a typical day for a mover/driver last?

“It all varies on a lot of different things. Usually for us, the average is anywhere from six to 12 hours on a normal day. What changes it up is anything from someone having only a little bit of items to longer walks, apartment moves and condo moves, and parking difficulties, which all affect the time.” – Jose Morales

Favorite parts of your job?

“I would have to say the people that work here. I do have a lot of experience working at different places, and I can say that from day one when I started here, I was a little nervous because I didn’t know anyone. But the thing about this company is they do a very good job of just getting you used to the environment, the people, and literally by my fourth or fifth day, I knew everyone. That’s just my favorite thing – the comradery in the office is what keeps us going.” – Jabrion Burnside

Challenges on the job?

“Definitely the heat. Lifting is not easy, and you’re already producing a lot of heat as is. When you add in the sun on you and how hot the truck can get, it sometimes just wears on you and can slow you down. Also, since we are in California and specifically the Los Angeles area, traffic can get really, really bad.” – Abraham Bautista

What do you do to make customers feel comfortable during a home move?

“I would say the biggest thing is getting to know the customer. At the end of the day, you have a service you are performing for them, but nothing is better than actually knowing you on a more personal level, because then they trust you more and you trust them more, and it adds to the overall experience of the move.” – Jabrion Burnside

There you have it! Moving is one of the tougher jobs you’ll find, but when you have hardworking professionals like these three young men – and the team members at all 350  TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations – it can make your moving process a little bit easier.

Friend with a Truck - YouTube

-Written by Erik Sargent

As you can see above, you don’t want to be the one hassling your friends by borrowing their truck for help. The smart choice? Calling TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!

It’s officially moving season and whatever your moving needs may be, the Movers Who Care can handle the move – regardless of the size. We can even help with packing, too! We are in the middle of summer and that means moving season, so each of our locations are fully-staffed and ready to help out.

Save your friend the pain. You’ll both be better off using TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. If you’re going to move, use these money-saving tips to help you get prepared and shave some money off your next move.

Start your packing early

Getting a jump start on your packing will pay off huge during your home relocation. This gives you time to get stuff in the right place, labeled, and will give you a clear idea of just how much is being transported on moving day.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK provides a wide-variety of packing services and packing supplies to make your move easier, which you can see here.

Label your boxes!

Once your items are securely packed in a box, finding them becomes a whole new ballgame. One of the most important steps someone can take during their home move is labeling everything. This organizational tool keeps you in the know with the location of all items you move, and helps the movers know what is happening, too.

Packing Tips From the Pros - YouTube

Keep what you need, get rid of what you don’t!

The less boxes you have to move on moving day, the easier the entire move will go. If you prepare your move in advance, this will give you time to go through your belongings and ask one important question – do I need this? If you haven’t used something in a year, it’s safe to say you don’t need it.

Toss it! And save the hassle of moving it.

Create a moving checklist

The best way to approach a home move is with a detailed plan. This keeps you on a schedule, gives you a direction, and will help you keep track of everything that is happening in front of you during a time when it’s easy to forget things.

Click here to see our expert TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving checklist, which we’ve developed using our 30-plus years of moving experience!

Keep your essential items together

Pack your essential items last when completing a home move, and even transport it in your personal vehicle so you have access to them if needed. This way, when you arrive at your new home, you can get the important stuff– like toiletries, chargers, etc. – first. It also prevents these essential items from getting mixed up with stuff that won’t be unpacked right away, and won’t leave you scrambling. When packing boxes, go room by room, keeping like-items together and making sure to label the tops and sides of the boxes so the movers know what room they belong in when getting to your new home. Stay accessible in case your movers aren’t sure where a certain item goes and you’re able to direct them!

Know what movers can and can’t move

Although we are more than happy to help with your move, there are some things we can’t move, and it’s important to keep this in mind as you are preparing. Anything from prescriptions to cleaning products, flammable items, or animals cannot be placed on our moving trucks.

To find out more about what we can and cannot move, click here.

Once boxes are packed, put them in one central area

Saving time means saving money! If your movers can quickly grab boxes and load them into the truck, that’ll make for an easier and more efficient move. If you’re able to, transfer your packed boxes to the garage or living room, and that’ll save your movers from going throughout the house to collect your items, thus saving time during the load process.

Giving back to the community has been a driving force behind the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand ever since our Founder Mary Ellen Sheets donated her first $1,000 profit to local charities.

This spring, as part of a national effort to better our local communities, each and every TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise collected donations for women in need during the 11th annual Movers for Moms® campaign.

Movers for Moms was created in support of mothers who are living in shelters due to homelessness or domestic abuse. In an effort to show these women the love and appreciation they deserve on Mother’s Day, our franchises work with businesses and individuals in their local communities to collect essential care items to be delivered for the holiday weekend.

Each year, Movers for Moms continues to reach new levels of success. This spring, more than 366,000 donations were collected across the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system —70,000 more than the 2017 total. With the help of nearly 1,000 collection sites across the country, these donations were able to support more than 150 women’s and family shelters nationwide.

In addition to reaching record-breaking numbers, franchises went above and beyond to spread awareness and make Mother’s Day extra special for moms who need it most.

“Aside from gathering donations, [our franchise] provides gift baskets to each of the mothers living in the shelter on Mother’s Day, and gift bags to every woman in the shelter whether they are a mother or not,” said Miriam Berrouet, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Myrtle Beach Marketing and Human Resource Manager. “Everyone gets to feel special on Mother’s Day!”

For Berrouet, Movers for Moms is more than just part of her job. South Carolina ranks among the states with the highest rates of domestic abuse against women.

Movers for Moms is an initiative that means a lot to me,” she said. “Whenever I speak about Movers for Moms, I speak about it with passion. When you speak about something passionately enough, your passion becomes contagious and people want to help you with your cause.”

Berrouet’s passion for the program and dedication to supporting the women in her community led the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Myrtle Beach location to being one of the top preforming franchises in the 2018 Movers for Moms campaign. With the help of five collection sites, Berrouet and her team raised nearly 14,000 donations for their local family shelter.

Just up the coast, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Charlotte Marketing Director Rosemary Hastings painted the town purple in honor of Movers for Moms®.

“We have had two buildings in the Charlotte skyline go Movers for Moms purple in years past, but this year I wanted to paint the town purple,” Hastings said. “I made a dozen Movers for Moms packets and took the afternoon to walk around to each sky rise and asked the front desk if they had a lighting program and if so, would they be on board to support local moms on Mother’s Day.”

“On Saturday, May 12, we had six buildings on the skyline go purple and my mission is to get the remaining four on board for next year,” Hastings said.

It’s this kind of extra effort that makes Movers for Moms grow in success each spring, and we’re proud of the impact our system is able to make in the communities where we live and work.

Special recognition goes to our St. Louis, Madison, Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, and Boynton Beach locations for their large-scale campaigns. Together, they raised 90,000 donations for shelters in their communities.

This is a guest post from Arhaus.com

Moving in with a significant other is an exciting milestone for any couple, but if it’s a new experience, it can seem a little overwhelming. Before getting caught in the excitement, there are a few steps that can help to make the transition into your new shared space a little easier.

Combining two interior styles into one can be a challenge and may spark some frustration between you and your partner. But, luckily for you, we have some tips on how to avoid the arguments, and create the perfectly styled home of your dreams that features both of your unique tastes.

Sorting through the old

Packing can be a headache, and it might seem like a daunting task, but it’s also a great opportunity to sort through some old items. When packing up two spaces, there’s bound to be duplicate appliances and furnishings, so this is a great time to make a list of the items you don’t need, items you can take with you to the new space, and items you are lacking. Before throwing away any items you don’t want to move to your new place, consider donating, selling, or even refurbishing to make the old, new.

Donating items is an effortless and quick solution to unloading old furnishings you no longer need or want. Try researching local thrift shops or charitable organizations that would accept furniture and electronics to create an affordable option for others looking to cost effectively furnish their homes.

The Salvation Army is another option that comes right to your door to pick up your gently used items, quite literally taking the weight off your shoulders of carrying and bringing said items to a nearby location yourself.

Selling your old items is another option that will put a little extra money in your pocket to purchase new home furnishings. With warm summer months approaching, keep an eye out for local flea markets and antique shows to request becoming a vendor for a small fee, to showcase those older items that may have historical value. Or, just set up a garage sale in your own front lawn to save money on the vending cost.

Refurbishing old furniture is another creative way to give your old pieces new life, while saving some money. All you need to do is take a trip to your local hardware or craft store for some sand paper, paint, and brushes.

Make it a fun creative experience for you and your partner, and spend some time in front of a variety of paint swatches to determine which accent colors you would like to bring into your new space. Having a creative project to focus on is a great way to add some fun within the stressful process of moving, and keep you and your partner focused on the excitement of your new transition.

In with the new, and combining styles

When you’re packed and ready to move into your new shared space, it’s time to reference that packing list one more time, to determine what you both are lacking in terms of furnishings. After settling in and establishing what rooms need what, it’s time to hit the showrooms or online shops and find the perfect pieces that fit both your interior design standards.

Maybe it’s time for some new living room seating, and your partner likes simplicity and clean lines, and you like versatile colored family room furnishings, easily accented with pops of color. Or maybe it’s time for a new bedroom set, but you can’t decide on a color scheme to match your partner’s desire for dark oak pieces and your love of minimalist inspired design. Don’t get frustrated.

Sit down with your partner and talk about ways to combine your styles in a way that compliments each individual taste. A great way to get started is to browse Pinterest or Instagram accounts of your favorite brands and designers. You might come across combinations that you hadn’t thought of and be inspired.

Designing a space should be a fun way to get to know your partner, so don’t get flustered or overwhelmed by indecisiveness. Be open to new styles and communicate openly with your partner, and you just might find new designs you both like to make your new home the perfect reflection and combination of both of your interior tastes!

It’s no secret that when you look at the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® success over the last 30 years, its people have been the one common factor keeping the brand moving forward.

With more than 350 locations operating in four different countries, over seven million moves completed, and endless customers impacted by our services, the most important part of our business is the hardworking individuals we employ all across the system.

Marcos Nabejar - TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® 2018 National Move Hero - YouTube

This all starts at the frontline level of the company – the ones who truly make things happen with the heavy lifting. For Marcos Nabejar of the McKinney, Texas, location, his efforts as a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK team member stood out above the rest of the system and he was awarded with the highest honor a frontline employee can receive – the National Move Hero Award.

“I was just overwhelmed with gratitude by the entire process,” said Nabejar, who has been a lead trainer and truck driver for the McKinney location since January of 2016. “It truly showed that with God, all things are possible in life.”

Nabejar was informed of his nomination before TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s Annual Meeting event that was held in Orlando, Fla., in March. Annual Meeting is a three-day event for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand to gather and discuss best practices and how to achieve success, but for Nabejar, it turned into a meet-and-greet with other attendees after he was introduced as a National Move Hero nominee on opening night.

“Everyone I talked to at Annual Meeting was very positive and kind to me,” Nabejar said. “I felt very honored to have an opportunity to attend. I made some memories that I will never forget.”

Nabejar was one of three nominees for the National Move Hero Award, joining DJ Cook – a driver for the Polk County, Fla. Location – and David Woods, who is a move consultant for the Raleigh, N.C. franchise location.

The three held celebrity status during the Annual Meeting, but on awards night, it was Nabejar who received the news – in front of all attendees – that he had earned the highest award of national move hero. It was a major milestone for Nabejar and his TWO MEN AND A TRUCK career, something he wasn’t quite sure how to put into words.

“Speechless,” Nabejar said. “I was just speechless and overwhelmed at the honor.”

According to those who work with Nabejar on a daily basis, he’s a devoted family man who is heavily involved with his church when he’s away from work. Although he always puts work first, he took some personal time away from the job after Hurricane Harvey hit to head down to the Houston area and worth with relief efforts for the city, showing what kind of person he really is. During his time with TWO MEN AND A TRUCk, he has maintained an excellent customer satisfaction rating, and is considered to be a model employee by his peers.

For Nabejar – who puts so much time into helping others at his franchise location – he felt it was important to recognize his team members from his McKinney location as he won the award, because being part of that team made this possible for him.

“Everyone [at my location] is proud of the award,” Nabejar said. “It’s a great feeling knowing  I’m part of such a wonderful and supportive team.”

Although he enjoyed the time celebrating his award, part of what got Nabejar to where he is today is his commitment to hard work and always looking forward, and that’s exactly what he plans to keep doing.

“I’m always dedicated to setting the bar higher,” Nabejar said. “I give respect to everyone I work with and because of that, I get respect back. I strive to continually encourage each team member to be the best they can be, both on the job and in their personal lives. My ultimate goal is to put God first, and I am grateful anytime He uses me for His purposes.”

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, taking care of our customers is what drives our brand and defines who we are as a company.

We continuously work to provide the best overall experience for our customers when they contact any of our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise locations. From over-the-phone contact with our professional and caring customer service representatives, to a unique online experience when requesting a quote from our website. We’ve earned lifelong customers by providing world-class customer service with our moving and packing options, but caring for customers goes well beyond the move.

With the recent talk about “customer data protection” – also known as the General Data Protection Regulation – we wanted to take the time to remind our customers that regardless of what personal information is shared with us, it is always kept secure.

“At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, we never share or sell customer information, and only collect it to provide information or perform requested services,” said Eric Jaward, the web product manager at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s Home Office location in Lansing, Mich. “We thoroughly vet any third-party vendors we utilize, and ensure they take data security and compliance as seriously as we do.”

Ensuring the security of your data

Regardless of which way you share your personal information with us, there is no need to worry! Whether you’re booking a move by phone or booking over the web, your personal information is kept in our secure database where it can be accessed by us and only us. We utilize advanced security and technology for all of internal and external systems including data encryption and secure transmission to safeguard information against any unauthorized use and set your mind at ease regarding your personal information.

Security of data with vendors

Part of the process that allows us to provide our customers with the highest level of customer service also requires us to work with vendors for various purposes including, web services, application development, and payment support.

Before any data is stored with any vendor, we conduct a security audit and gain a detailed understanding of their procedures pertaining to data handling, storage, protection and PCI compliance.

Following email marketing best practices

A big part of what we do with engaging new customers and following up with past customers revolves around effective emailing strategies.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK takes this responsibility very seriously, and makes sure to stay up-to-date when offering best practices when it comes to emailing our customers to ensure information that could be lost in your email inbox stays protected.

We never sell customer data

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, we promise that data provided to us by our loyal customers will never be sold to a third-party company or developer under any circumstance, providing peace of mind and ease as you continue browsing the web.

As we move into the busiest time of the year, we felt it was necessary to remind our customers that they are safe with us – not just with our moving services, but with personal data, too. With a set of core values that include THE GRANDMA RULE® – which is to treat everyone the way you would want your Grandma to be treated – we always make sure the customer comes first.

With a track record like this, it’s easy to see why we have earned the nickname “Movers Who Care®”! To find out more about our moving services or to book a move this summer, click here.

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we’re dedicated to making your moving experience stress-free and successful. To ensure the safety of both our customers and movers, we must follow certain rules and regulations that restrict the transportation of certain items.

In order to avoid conflict and confusion on moving day, we recommend you speak with your local franchise beforehand to ensure you have time to make arrangements to move the items we’re not able to.

Our movers are unable to transport the following:

Flammable, explosive, or corrosive items

Federal law prohibits the transportation of propane, paint, car batteries, antifreeze, household cleaners, weed killer, and ammunition. These items will not be moved under any circumstances.

Gasoline-filled engines or machines

Prior to move in day, make sure to empty any items that run on gasoline. Items such as lawn mowers, grills, tractors, and mopeds must be completely empty in order for our movers to transport them.

Plants and animals

In order to guarantee the safety and well-being of your plants and pets, we do not transport any living thing, including potted plants and fish.

Perishable food

Fresh, refrigerated, and frozen foods are banned from our trucks to prevent rotting and spoiled, unpleasant odors. Plan out your meals the week before the move so you don’t have a fridge full of food on moving day. Or, plan to box and transport in your personal vehicle.

Sensitive or sentimental belongings

We care about your things and take care of them as if they were our own.. To ensure your prized possessions and important items are not misplaced during the process, we do not move items such as cash, jewelry, insurance papers, or birth certificates.

Prescription drugs or medications

In order to prevent any emergencies where you may need access to your medications, we do not move prescription drugs.

Reminder: Each franchise has their own policy regarding non-allowable items. For a complete list of items we are not able to move, please contact your local TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® office.

This is a guest blog post from Avail.co

Are you moving into a rental property? From signing your new lease to getting settled in your new home, we know just the right steps to take to help you navigate the move-in process.

Follow along with these helpful tips on what to look out for as you move into a new rental property this summer!

Sign a lease

Be sure to review your lease completely, paying close attention to the rent price, security deposit, move-in fee, and lease dates. You’ll also want to read the clauses and rules to make sure everything looks good.

If you have any questions about the lease, you should ask your landlord before signing. It’s better to ask questions up front rather than sign a legal document you’re not sure about. And remember, it’s standard for tenants to sign the lease first.

Pay first month’s rent and your deposit

Typically, your landlord will ask you to pay first month’s rent after signing the lease and before you move in. Landlords want to make sure you’ll be able to pay on time before handing over the keys.

Schedule professional movers

Professional movers are the safest option when it comes to moving your belongings. At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, there are trained professionals who will take care of your belongings as you move. They guarantee your belongings won’t be damaged, and your landlord will appreciate the apartment will also not be damaged during the move. They’re experts at moving furniture without scratching walls or surfaces because they’re properly trained moving professionals who have all the necessary equipment to make your move safe and efficient.

Want to be prepared? Read these tips for your upcoming move.

Switch your utilities

If your current and new home have the same utility provider, then you can schedule to transfer service to your new address on your move date.

You can also set up utilities quickly if you use a service like My Utilities.

Complete move-in inspection checklist

Landlords often require that you fill out a move-in inspection checklist. If you paid a security deposit, then it’s in your best interest to fill one out with your landlord even if he or she doesn’t initiate it.

In the checklist, you’ll mark existing damage in the rental. When you move out, you’ll fill out the same checklist to show what damage is new versus pre-existing. Your landlord should not charge you to repair any damage that was already there.

Enjoy your new home

Finding a new property and moving in are the tough parts. Next, you’ll unpack and settle into your new home! Here are some ongoing tips to keep in mind as a renter:

  • Treat the place as your home (taking care of the rental goes a long way with your landlord)
  • Pay rent on time
  • Submit maintenance tickets as needed

Next steps

Flowers, gifts, family get-togethers, and immense appreciation are just a few things that make up Mother’s Day each year.

Unfortunately for some mothers and women, a joyous day of celebration isn’t always on option on Mother’s Day – or any day. Domestic violence is a never-ending issue nationwide, with a staggering three out of every 10 women facing some form of domestic violence in their lifetime, according to The National Domestic Violence Hotline.

It’s an issue that many try to brush to the side, but one that needs to be talked about, as women from every community around the country struggle to find safety, help, and peace. Where do these women go if they can’t find safety in their own homes, for themselves, and their kids? A major resource for women in these terrible situations comes from the help of women’s shelters, which aim to not only give them a place to seek refuge during moments of domestic violence, but also the resources to find stability in their life again and get back on track in an independent manner.

Organizations like the Genesis Women’s Shelter, based in Dallas, work diligently to be as accommodating as possible for women of domestic violence, as they try to strategically maneuver around the obstacles involved in cases like these and provide the necessary care.

“Genesis provides shelter, safety, and support for women and children who have experienced domestic violence,” said Bianca Jackson, senior director of funds and community development at Genesis. “Our goal is to remove every single road block she is going to face on her journey to this abuse-free life that she deserves, and that can be different for every woman.”

Every domestic violence case is different, and a big step for places like Genesis is figuring out each patient’s specific situation and needs to get where they need to be. Whether it is physical or emotional damage, domestic violence can take many forms, and the type of support one women may need might not work for someone else.

Genesis takes in women who have experienced what they call “intimate partner violence”, and that’s where they target their relief efforts for the women of the Dallas area.

“Basically, she’s been hurt by someone she is in a relationship with, or someone who she was in a relationship with,” Jackson said.

Outreach by the Genesis staff can take many forms, but most women inquire about coming to the shelter by reaching out to Genesis’ 24-hour emergency hotline.

“Does she need a place to stay, or does she need to talk to someone? As long as we have space to protect her, we tell her to come,” Jackson said. “She doesn’t have to bring anything with her, and in most cases, they don’t have anything because they are leaving while he’s at work, he jumped in the shower, or he’s on a business trip, and she gets out of there. When she walks in our doors, we provide food, clothing, a private room, and the immediate support that she’s going to need.”

Each woman who enters the doors at Genesis starts with counseling treatment before shifting to what specific things they might need to get out of their situation. Everything from figuring out if a change of jobs is needed to determining where their next residence will be, as the threat of the abuser going to where he thinks the woman might be is always present.

One of the biggest factors that comes into play with a domestic violence situation is financial, because according to Jackson, nearly all domestic violence relationships contain some type of financial abuse, too.

“We sustain them while they are here, and we also help them with financial planning,” Jackson said. “In 99 percent of all of these relationships, financial abuse is present, so she doesn’t have access to her money. Even if she’s working, she has to put her money in his account or he doesn’t allow her to work. So we provide financial planning to get her prepared for life after she leaves the shelter.”

Another major benefit Genesis offers – and something that would often get overlooked by someone on the outside looking in – is resources for the children she might have.

If a woman brings her children with her, they are no longer able to go to school because their father could go looking for them and he has the right to pull them out of school, putting the woman in a situation where she would have to go back home to get the kids.

“For the six-week period [she is here], her children can enroll in our school that is on-site with trained therapists that know what these children are experiencing, and that can provide them with a safe education while they are here,” Jackson said.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® making a difference

A company who takes this issue very seriously – and who tries to make a difference by helping every spring – is the international moving company, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK.

Founded in 1985 by a mother herself, Mary Ellen Sheets, and her two sons, Jon Sorber and Brig Sorber, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK developed its own way to make a difference by helping women’s shelters i across the country with its national Movers for Moms® campaign.

Franchise locations throughout TWO MEN AND A TRUCK partner with local shelters and community organizations in their community to collect essential care items for women and children that are then delivered by the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving teams to various women’s shelters. It provides the company a way to not only a make a difference in the lives of these women, but also to raise awareness to the public.

“Our franchise is so into Movers for Moms, we love it,” said Shalimar Rydzik, marketing coordinator for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Waukesha, Wis., location. “Personally, I feel having a respected woman as our franchisee makes us a little more connected to the campaign and what it means to the women in our community. [This campaign] really forces [all] of us to look at the world from a wider perspective, and encourages to care more about the greater good.”

In 2017, Movers for Moms ran in all 42 of the states that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK operated in, supporting a large number of different shelters. More than 295,000 gifts were donated to these shelters, and over the 10 years the company has been running Movers for Moms, more than 1 million items have been donated.
