Cady and Angelo have this vibrancy about their relationship together. They are bold, adventurous and have the type of zest for life that is refreshing. I knew all this immediately when I met them and I saw it magnified on their wedding day. They were experiencing the best kind of joy.
At the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Syracuse, New York, Cady and Angelo became husband and wife. I watched them looking at each other during the ceremony and finding these sweet, tiny moments to giggle with each other. I couldn’t help but love knowing that this is just Cady and Angelo, entering their marriage with that same charisma and zest for life.
Cady being from Syracuse and Angelo from Frankfort, planned their reception smack dab in the middle at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in the Shenendoah Clubhouse. There I met their closest friends and family and a lot of babies, toddlers, and kids! They have big families and they are a lot of fun! Cady and Angelo danced the night away celebrating their first day as husband and wife. And like always, I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Congratulations to Cady and Angelo!
I adore this family! I have photographed Sara and Bill’s wedding, the arrival of their first child, William, and now their family is growing bigger! And let’s not forget Zoey, best pup ever. William and Zoey are going to be a big brother and big sister in December. Sara and Bill are so excited and so am I. Here’s to awaiting a pretty amazing Christmas present for this family. Check out their family session at Onondaga Park in Syracuse, New York. Congratulations!
It seems like yesterday that I photographed Jessica and Phil’s wedding at Wolf Oak Acres. Seeing them now today reminded me of their strong connection together and how beautiful it is when after marriage comes creation. Since their wedding they have had Sophia their first child and are expecting a second in August! Along with a marriage stronger than ever, these are all beautiful things! I am so happy for this growing family! Congratulations! Here is our family and maternity session at Root Glen Gardens in Clinton, New York.
When I photographed Kacie and Matt’s engagement session, I learned that Matt sold his motorcycle to pay for an engagement ring for Kacie. And Matt loves motorcycles. My first thought was “if that isn’t badass, I don’t know what is”. That definitely set a bar for how I thought their wedding day would pan out because there are a lot of emotions behind their story and their love for each other.
The day of Kacie and Matt’s wedding I walked into some incredible energy. Kacie and her bridesmaids were just having fun and joking around. There was even a little performance of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s song, “Shallow” by Kacie and her sister, Lauren. My stomach was hurting from all of the laughing. During this time, Matt was quietly anticipating the day which perfectly reflects their relationship. Kacie’s fun demeanor balances Matt’s quiet strength. I love these endearing differences!
We had a light rain which stopped just in time for Kacie and Matt’s ceremony. Perfect timing! They had a beautiful ceremony by the pond at Wolf Oak Acres and gorgeous lighting from the clouds for photos after. I was quite excited for their reception because the energy from their family and guests were so much fun! And my guess was right on the money! Everyone danced the night away and celebrated Kacie and Matt all night long. I will let the photos do the talking. Congratulations to Kacie and Matt!!
And at the end of the day they come home to their sweet dog, Arya whom you are about to see many pictures of. When I was listening to their wedding vows I was so relieved and impressed. Their vows were very similar and talked about how much they both care unwaveringly about their patients. And how much they admire each other for their diligence and passion in the medical field. I am so grateful for Caitlyn and Pranava and everything that they do.
Their wedding was gorgeous! And I can’t say that enough. Crispin Hill in the Finger Lakes was the perfect harmony of classic chic and cozy barn atmosphere. The day began with everyone keeping a close eye on the weather. Rain was in the forecast but I’m happy to report that we encountered only a little drizzle. The real rain came just in time as everyone sat for the reception. And more importantly, I loved seeing Caitlyn and Pranava enjoy this day. I am so happy for them and their marriage. Cheers to one of the best dog parents I know and doctors who make a difference in the world. Caitlyn and Pranava are an incredible duo!
Shelby and Michael were attending the same college. They had just one class together. One night they were both out with separate groups of friends and they noticed each other, from that one class. Eventually all their friends dispersed to different endeavors and there, Shelby and Michael were left to their own devices. In other words, love began to brew.
I loved hanging with Shelby and Michael. I advised them that engagement sessions are extremely low pressure and to just have fun! And that they did! We spent a beautiful Summer evening at Syracuse University taking photos and getting to know each other. I’m so happy for these two lovebirds and I’m anxiously awaiting their wedding next year! Congratulations Shelby and Michael!
After dating Brandon and meeting his daughter, Brooke, life changed quite a bit for Sarah. She fell in love with them and they fell in love with her. They became a family. Then one day, Brooke handed Sarah a note. The note asked Sarah if she would be Brooke’s step mom. Sarah looked up from the note to find Brandon on one knee. Now that is movie material but in real life!
It was an honor to photograph Sarah and Brandon’s wedding day at The Cannery in Vernon, New York. They have a very dynamic group of friends and family and watching them meld together was so much fun! And Sarah and Brandon? Peanut butter and jelly, peas and carrots, they are made for each other! And I’m so happy for their lives together. Congratulations to Sarah and Brandon!
Alyssa and Dominic were kind enough to meet me at The Turning Stone for some photos. They are the sweetest dog parents I know to little miss Mabes. I have a soft spot in my heart for pitbulls so Mabelline makes my heart melt. They’re wedding in September is coming up soon and I can just tell it’s going to be all sorts of amazing! And yes, Mabes will be there too!
Jackie taught Dan how to ski and Dan fell in love with skiing. After being together for 11 years, during a skiing trip the week before Valentine’s Day they were on a hill during sunset and Dan proposed to Jackie! Jackie was completely surprised and now they are planning their wedding!
Jackie and Dan live together in Brooklyn and invited me to Dumbo, Brooklyn to photograph their engagement. We explored all the hot spots for photography and it was so much fun! So excited for these two to be getting married next year! Congratulations to Jackie and Dan!
Mallory was working at a restaurant. Matt walked in and when they saw each other something sparked because they could not stop glancing at each other. The whole time that he was there they exchanged these curious glances and then he left. But obviously, the story does not end there. Malloy and a friend decided to go out for drinks after work. They ended up trying out a new bar that they’ve never been to before. And alas, who is there? Matt! The curiosity could no longer keep it’s calm as they began a conversation and they quickly fell in love.
Mallory and Matt had a beautiful day for a wedding. As you’ll be able to tell from the pictures, the rain held out for us just in time for beautiful photos and a gorgeous ceremony. Heading to the reception it began to rain but if you know me, I love rain during a reception because it gives the coziest feels! It was perfect timing for everyone to gather into Dibbles Inn and listen to Mallory’s dad perform songs that he had written. Everyone was in awe of his music and his words and tears were people’s eyes. Mallory and Matt spent the rest of the night dancing away with their family and friends. Such a beautiful day! Congratulations to Mallory and Matt!
