The day of an Alzheimer’s caregiver is not limited from the hours of 9 – 5 or even from sun up to sun down. On the longest day of the year, June 21, the Alzheimer’s Association recognizes Alzheimer’s patients and caregivers with an annual event called the Longest Day. From barbecues to volunteering to crafting, there are many ways to show your support for caregivers and patients.
