Blue Tiger is a New Hampshire via San Diego hip-hop duo. The rap outfit released a new album a fortnight ago. Titled Pawprints, the project carries 13 great songs, one of them being “New Game”. This is an energetic track with a catchy hook and great flows.

Nilly - All the Time ft. King Los - YouTube
25-year-old New Orleans rapper Nilly features LA-based rap mainstay King Los in “All The Time”, a song lifted off his new EP, Gotta Have Faith. With a video which was shot in Santa Monica, California, the record finds the two rappers flowing smoothly over a bouncy trap track.
“GMGMG” by Mari
Mari - GMGMG (Official Music Video) - YouTube
According to Chicago-born, Atlanta-based rapper Mari, “GMGMG” is an acronym for ‘Get Money Give Money Gang’ but it’s also the title to his latest song. The self-produced track serves as the second single off of his scheduled project, Glutton Free. The accompanying music video was directed by Persia Beheshti.
Ozi Jarel is a Ugandan-Sudanese rapper/poet based in Brisbane, Australia. “Baobab” is the title track to his new album, a project which was produced by Dream Machine and Callum Schalch. This song samples sounds from African greats like Fela Kuti and infuses elements of hip-hop and pop.
For his latest release, Jr. Rhodes drops “Shoot!”, a melodic and laid-back trap banger. On this record, the Canadian rap newcomer gets to exhibit his versatile flows and smooth lyricism. The song talks about his rise, painting an image of his new found lifestyle. You can hear him rap:
She want a vacation, I tell I’d rather just go to the moon/
The way that we living I’m feeling like nothing will ever be new/
Got something to say to the people that never believed it was true/
Now I be running the crew, taking it back to the booth, back to the room/
We always dreamed about money and talked about the things that we would do/
In 2017, the artist released the project Imperfection, including in it tracks like “Fly Away” and “Rhodes To Riches, Vol. 1”.
I do love the energy that surrounds an artist debut. A culmination of many hours of hard work and passion, the first single is a painting of the artist’s ambition. For British musician Harry Zalega, his is in form of the song “Run Away”, a piece in which he showcases his soulful vocals. The track combines pop synths with a classic delivery and songwriting, reflecting on his earlier music influences.
Raised up in Leeds, UK, the singer/songwriter was inspired by different bands and singers. Having learnt the guitar while young, he was able to play small gigs, performing covers, mostly.
Another gem arrived this weekend in the form of In Sequence, the new album by Las Vegas-born, Los Angeles-based artist and producer Lexi Sorrentino. 7 songs long, this body of work is excellent in its simplicity. Anchored in Lexi’s singer/songwriter roots, the album combines different flavours. “Crazy”, the album’s third track, for example, infuses elements of heavy bass and sharp drum kicks. “Complicated”, on the other hand, features sweet, funky rhythms. One aspect that stars across the entire project, though, is the singer’s soft alluring vocals.
Lexi Sorrentino - Complicated - YouTube
For Lexi Sorrentino, it was just a simple and patient start but her screaming talent and infectious demeanor earned a decent following on YouTube, where she had been posting song covers. Now, this album serves us a full dose of what she’s got.
“Intentionally” is the latest single by Taylor Grey, the rising pop singer/songwriter from Northern California. The self-written song describes a special kind of love and is backed by a smooth electro-pop track and delivered within Grey’s soothing vocals. The record was released on Kobalt Music Group.
We first introduced you to the 21-year-old artist while sharing her 2017 single “Poison“. She is currently on the road, supporting The Vamps on their ‘Four Corners’ UK Tour.
To stay informed about Taylor Grey, follow her on Facebook.
Angelike Falbo is a rising 18-year-old Italian-Canadian pop singer. Today, we present the artist’s latest song: “Sailors In The Night” is an exciting dance/pop track that was produced by A&R/producer Vito Luprano, who is also her manager. The record arrives on Sony Music Canada.
With support from her father, Angelike entered as a participant in the 3rd season of La Voix (Quebec’s version of The Voice). She eventually snatched up the runners-up position and this occasioned her discovery by the music industry. Guided by her experienced manager (Vito Luprano), she is, definitely, destined to scale the heights of pop.
Mizzy - You & Me [Music Video] | GRM Daily - YouTube
East London artist Mizzy has returned with a new single. Titled “You & Me”, the dancehall-influenced melodic track has summer vibes all over it and it’s accompanied by a music video which was premiered via GRM Daily. The song addresses a girl Mizzy is pursuing and he goes reminding her to ignore the distractions and focus on the two of them.
Born in Eealing (West London) to Congolese parents, the young singer/songwriter was named Michee Efete. From a young age, Mizzy was attracted to everything performance and music. It is, however, in 2018 that he ventured into the art professionally. His debut single “Sweet One” was released half a year ago.
It is all about embracing self-love as R&B singer/songwriter Kayla Rae shares her new song “All Love”, a record which found her working with producer DJ Frank E. The trap-infused track imbues an emotion-conjuring melody and Kayla further crowns it up with her immaculately soulful vocals. Despite its emotive tone, the song has a sensual and enjoyable allure.
The Denver, Colorado-based singer had dropped the video for her “Changed Up” single earlier this year. Kayla is steadying her climb up the R&B space and this song is just the perfect prop to her ladder.
Neak - Elevation Everything (Official Music Video) - YouTube
Chicago lyricist and producer Neak has shared the visuals for “Elevation Everything”, the first song on his new album KWESBAAR (self-produced, it is a solid body of work, highlighting his jazz influence). “Elevation Everything” is the project’s introductory song, and it illustrates the emcee’s emotional state, laying bare his vulnerabilities as a music creator. As you probably have felt in his previous tracks like “For My City” and “B.M.P“, the rapper’s music is introspective and conscious and he maintains that depth with this album.
“…this song gives listeners a complete synopsis of where my life has been, where it is going, and how exposing my soul/displaying my humanity is not a weakness; it is my greatest strength as a writer/producer” ~ Neak describing “Elevation Everything”
Influenced by the likes of Mos Def, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Common and Jay Z, Neak’s music is reminiscent of that classic hip-hop era.
“Flavour” is the new Afro-swing tune from independent, Surrey-based, British artist Esxen and features sassy singer Sher. With a summer-tinged flavour and a crisp production, the song has a catchy, feel-good vibe that many will find enjoyable. Lyrically, “Flavour” describes a dangerous relationship between two young people.
Esxen (born Steven Nielson) made his music debut with the single “Wild Love”. He is another fresh addition to the buzzing UK urban music scene.
