Coolant is an essential part of a healthy functioning car because it removes excess heat through the radiator. Coolant contains a mixture of chemicals that act as an agent to keep your car from freezing or overheating in extreme temperatures. It is important to know the status of your coolant. Often times it is over looked until it either becomes and problem or is on the ground under your vehicle.
At 3zero3 Motorsports, we provide all services regarding your coolant system. From a visual test to a refractometer test which will give us a perfect understanding of the state your coolant is in. Coolant can easily get deposit build up and lose its ability to protect your car. Here at 3zero3, we use a cleaning agent that will clean the deposits inside of your coolant. After the cleaning agent is deposited, we run the vehicle until it reaches operating temperature. This helps the cleaning agent to move through the vehicle and helps it break lose any deposits, getting them ready to be flushed. After this we will vacuum fill the new coolant into the vehicle to both clear any oxygen inside the system and also to determine if the system has any leaks. If it loses suction, we then know there is a leak somewhere in the system. If there aren’t any signs of leaks, we will then apply a conditioner to the vehicle to help prevent any deposit build up in the future and help the hose ability to transfer heat.
Don’t know the status of your coolant? Make an appointment today at 3zero3 Motorsports for a checkup! A happy car converts to a happy owner!
Our Road Rally to Snowmass from 3zero3 Motorsports in 2018 was an amazing, unforgettable event. The cars, along with the company made for a fun and exciting weekend.
We wanted to keep the to the traditional Automobili Exotica vibe, but add something new to the event.
We are excited to announce that we are moving the event to the brand-new Limelight Hotel on Snowmass Base Village. This move will give us the opportunity to be directly on Snowmass Base Village and close to the action in Snowmass near the restaurants and the gondola.
The Limelight is a pet friendly hotel that offers complimentary breakfast daily, two pool spas, kids’ area, fitness center, climbing wall and easy access to the town’s restaurants. The rooms are new and fresh with a modern décor.
As part of the Automobili Exotica event, you will be given a special event rate for the weekend.
It is probably hard to believe that you can enhance something that was built around being perfect. Unplugged Performance has turned its focus on enhancing Tesla’s to a new level. Unplugged Performance states “All of our parts are researched and engineered on our own development vehicles with the intention of improving every aspect of the driving and ownership experience. Unplugged produces an exclusive range of premium upgrades to give a new sporty performance identity to Tesla Model S, Model X, and Model 3.” (Unplugged Performance, 2013)
Here at 3zero3 Motorsports we had an excellent opportunity to see Unplugged Performance product and put it to the test. Our client had come in with his model 3 with the “Mild” lowering spring’s kit from Unplugged Performance. Excited to see the results we took the project head on and got it done. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the product, the look, and the drive after when the installation.
We are looking forward to see more from Unplugged Performance and Tesla vehicles!

Why Springs Are Important To Your Suspension System
A vehicles spring helps control the leveling of the car on uneven surfaces. The springs work in conjunction with the shock absorbers/dampeners to keep the ride smooth and aid in preventing damage to other suspension components. Springs are difficult to break on a vehicle; typically, the shock absorber will be the first thing to go out of the two. A good indication that your shock is broken is your car feeling more bouncy than usual.
Upgraded springs or lowering springs are a great starting modification for your vehicle. You can lower your car and get better handling out of the vehicle at a relatively low cost in comparison of buying Coil Overs or Air Suspension. However, once new springs are installed on the vehicle, you are stuck with the ride height and stiffness of the springs. Doing some research on your own, or calling us here at 3zero3 Motorsports can help you better understand what type of look and feel you are going for on the vehicle. A good tip to remember is that the less expensive springs are not always reliable. Be sure you know the quality of products before you buy to prevent being in a situation where they fail.
We all know that our tires need to be rotated, but we may not be sure when and how often to rotate them. After all, tires and wheels connect our cars to the road and taking proper care of them keeps us safe. Each car’s owner’s manual will specify the guidelines and recommended time frame for rotating them. The US Department of Transportation recommends that you rotate every 5,000 miles to get the maximum mileage out of your tires. Depending on the oil change interval of your car, a good practice (and way to remind yourself) is to rotate them with every oil change.
Normal daily driving, along with an imbalanced alignment can cause your tires to develop uneven wear and poor road handling. Rotating them regularly can prolong the life of your tires as well as contribute to the suspension wear and gas millage. Keeping up on the rotation will help save money over time. And who doesn’t want to save money!
If you are unsure of your tire’s pressure or if you need your tires replaced, contact us to schedule an appointment.

This is a lot of items to have in your vehicle, however most of them were designed to be easily packaged in a vehicle and you will thank yourself when needed and used. It is always better to be safe than sorry. It is always most important to make sure that your car is ready for winter and that you have the proper winter tires.
Easily one of the most important factors determining why we enjoy our cars, or on the flip side dislike our cars is how the suspension performs. From daily driving to racing on the track you want your suspension to be at its optimal performance. It can be very easy to notice that your car’s suspension is damaged, however it is difficult to determine if the suspension is going bad before failure. We all can assume that it is normal for suspension to less tight as it is when it is new, however, without being professionally checked you will not know until it fails.
This is a list of major suspension components each play a key role on your cars handling, steering, and ability to hold uneven terrain and weight inside the vehicle.
At 3zero3 Motorsports we have trained professionals who will look at each one of these parts and test them to determine if each component is doing their key role. Whether your car needs repair or an upgraded part, we are able to help you acquire the knowledge you need to have the correct part in your vehicle for the expectations you have with it.
Nothing is better than finding the true perfect sound for your vehicle with an exhaust upgrade. The trick is knowing what type of exhaust to go with that bests suits your type of driving. There are three main types of Catback systems for your vehicle and two types of “Downpipes
Resonated (Touring) Sound: Moderate – Slightly louder than stock
The sound you get from a resonated system is for the enthusiast who wants to hear the exhaust note in the car but not so much that you make your neighbors upset. Price Range: Touring/Resonated system typically is higher priced due to the added equipment of resonators to keep them quieter. Conclusion: Great starting system for someone new into the tuning world or for someone who wants the grunt of the car to come out but not too much that it is all you hear.
Non – Resonated (Track) Sound: Loud – You will hear this system.
Non-resonated/Track systems are meant to be heard. They are a perfect system to grab attention and a wow factor when driving down the road. They are a perfect free-flowing exhaust (as a disclaimer this may upset your neighbors). Price Range: Less expensive than the resonated system. Conclusion: Amazing for the car enthusiast who wants to be heard on the road, getting the full experience of sound in your car. These systems will not disappoint.
SwitchPath Sound: Quiet & Loud – Ability to switch modes.
The best of both worlds, this exhaust system can be easily switched between modes. Price Range: The most expensive out of the three. Conclusion: The best overall system for your vehicle for sounds variations and quality. A system you can truly keep quiet when needed and be a head tuner with a click of a button.
HighFlow Cat Downpipe Sound: Quieter then the cat less counterpart but louder than the stock pipe and cat due to being bigger in diameter.
Use: Having the HF Cat will help you pass emissions if you live in a state that requires it. Still getting the performance side of it having a bigger diameter part but also still being legal on the road. Price Range: The most expensive out of the two. Quality performance catalyst usually are never cheap. Conclusion: Great overall performance system to put into your vehicle if you need to pass emissions or just want to have your car a little quieter. Will greatly improve the performance of the vehicle for opening up the flow of the exhaust. Paired with a stage 2 tune will greatly benefit the new hardware.
Catless DP Sound: Expect this modification to be loud. The catalyst on the vehicle is the first sound dampening that every car has to deal with, so expect when you remove it you will hear a dramatic difference especially when paired with the catback. The downpipe is what we like to call “The bass of the vehicle”.
Use: This is a “Track Only” modification. This mod will not pass emissions without the cat. Please make sure to do your research on your state to make sure you do not need to get an emissions test or be prepared to have a catalyst installed in the future. Furthermore, you will get the most “Free Flow” with the exhaust system. Price Range: Cheaper out of the two due to the lack of having the catalyst attached. Conclusion: Perfect track system. Get the best flow out of the car and if you are a sound enthusiast this is a great way of getting that deep bass tone for your vehicle.
