YOGA VILLAGE PARIS by Laurent Commergnat - 1w ago

YOGA VILLAGE PARIS by Laurent Commergnat - 1w ago

From the tropical land of Brazil and originally hectic city of São Paulo, my first contact with yoga was early in 2009. After moving places and experiencing yoga in Sydney (AUS), Auckland (NZ) and Dubai (UAE) I took my first Jivamukti Yoga class in London with Cat Alip-Douglas the founder of Jivamukti Yoga in London current Sangyé Yoga School. In an attempt to deepen my practice I took off to Mysore (INDIA) to study Ashtanga yoga at K. Pattabi Jois early 2013 and finally took a 300h Jivamukti Yoga teacher training in Nosara (Costa Rica) in 2014.  Every since I have been guided by my guru Cat Alip-Douglas on a journey into the self attending her yoga retreats all over the world and just recently finished one in Bhutan the land of happiness. Apart from yoga I am also trained and qualified Thai/Yoga massage therapist and teacher after attending a 390h teacher training in Chiang Mai (Thailand). I

Yoga Village Paris
Parole d’un expert local
This studio is like a bubble in the center of the city, with lots of natural light and a big window looking down onto boulevard des Capucines. They offer classes all day in different types of yoga: hatha, vinyasa, kundalini, Jivamukti, strala, and more. It can get crowded—especially the morning MySore practice and during lunch. Mats are free to borrow, but are kept in the front of the room away from the door. If you need to borrow one, try not to arrive late.

Hélène

I am a yoga teacher known for organizing Yoga in the City, big yoga gatherings in unusual places like the Grand Palais. I also founded YUJ, the first French brand of yoga wear and a studio in the 7th arrondissement.

Chakra Prana Vinyasa Flow July 20th

This journey begins with the Base Chakra/ Muladhara for a Earth salutation, cultivating stability and a healthy relationship to the hips. From Muladhara we transition to the Sacral Chakra/ Svadhisthana inviting in fluidity with the element of Water and honouring the reproductive system and the well of creativity which resides here. From Svadhisthana we light up the Solar Plexus Chakra / Manipura, by igniting our inner fire generating heat, building sacred strength and stamina with core cultivation and more!

Our exploration continues to map these energetic centres culminating at the Crown Chakra/ Sahasrara where we become one with anandamaya kosha and melt into a state of embodied bliss.

This workshop is a complete energetic exploration with Prana Vinyasa yoga namaskars and inspirational movement meditations inspired by Shiva Rea’s Chakra Vinyasa module. During this Chakra Fusion Flow Juan Gabriel ignites a curiosity for the mystical connected to the energy vortexes of the body, we unravel this knowledge through visualisations, affirmations, mudra and creative sequencing suitable for all levels.

Evolution Vinyasa July 21th

Experience a full spectrum of Vinyasas using the evolutionary Prana Flow pathways of pulsing, body and rhythmic Vinyasas to stimulate energetic alignment and increase circulation throughout, as we serve the life-force in a balanced and cohesive way. By tapping into the wisdom of the body, we set in motion this evolution internally, as it is expressed externally with the breath and movement becoming one. In doing so we express and mirror the qualities of Prana Vayus, the all- pervading movement of energy enhancing your breath, heart and mind connection.
This progressive workshop includes Prana Vinyasa wave sequencing, core cultivation, deep restorative forward bends, liberating backbends, empowering arm balances sprinkled with movement meditation, pranayama and mudras. By working with kramas / different stages of evolution within asana this workshop is suitable for all yoga lovers and will leave you feeling inspired, uplifted and energised!

« Un refuge, pour les alpinistes, est un habitat en pleine montagne où l’on peut se reposer pendant l’ascension. Nous, le 29 juin on prendra refuge à Yoga Village avec un vinyasa dynamique pour commencer puis une pratique et un échange plus « interne ». Nous cheminons tous, marchons tous vers le haut d’une montagne. Nous avons parfois besoin de ce refuge intérieur. À samedi 29! »
