Libby & Barry’s wedding was full of such beautiful joy. The morning started at the Q21 Building in NW Portland, where the girls & guys each had their own air b&b rooms. The building inside and out was gorgeous and made for awesome backdrops for first look and bride & groom photos. Their party bus picked up the group and we took bridal party photos in Fields Park and around NW Portland. We hopped back in the party bus, crossed over the Broadway Bridge and headed to LeftBank Annex where the ceremony was perfectly set up. The isle was lined with gorgeous florals and candle. Libby and Barry’s ceremony was so meaningful and had so many in tears. After the ceremony, everyone headed downstairs for cocktail hour and Whitney Werts & Company transformed the ceremony room into the most magnificent reception. Every detail was incredible – from the tablecloth, the floral arrangements, the greenery running down the tables, and their super cute table numbers. The toasts are always my favorite part of the wedding – and Libby and Barry’s speeches from friends & family were the best and had everyone toggling between tears and laughter. We hopped out of LeftBank Annex for a few sunset photos, while the guests got down on the dance floor and it was so fun running through the streets. The party was on when we returned and everyone was dancing their heart out!
Danny & Misha’s surprise proposal at Penner-Ash Wine Cellars was so much fun! It was filled with so much excitement and joy. These two are hilarious together & laughed and joked around together so much. They live in Florida, and came out to Oregon to visit wine country and Portland for vacation. Their first stop was Oregon’s wine country and Danny knew that Penner-Ash Wine Cellars was the perfect place to ask Misha to marry him. I’m so happy for these two.
Dawn and Pete’s beautiful wedding at Scholls Valley Lodge was filled with so much joy! The property’s views are stunning with a mountain view, vineyard, and gorgeous view of the country. Their ceremony was underneath the beautiful Oak trees at Scholls Valley Lodge with all their guests surrounding them in a circle. They had many of their friends involved in the ceremony with the sweetest speeches. The day was filled with so much beauty, love and joy at Scholls Valley Lodge. I’m so happy for Dawn & Pete!
Stefanie and Kyle’s wedding at the Sentinel Hotel was spectacular! The flowers, all the gorgeous signage details, and surprising all their guests with the Lion Dance – a traditional Chinese dance to bring good luck and fortune made it so special. Stefanie and Kyle looked amazing, and we utilized all the incredible nooks around the Sentinel for such pretty photos. Their ceremony in the Renaissance Room was so meaningful and heartfelt. Then cocktail hour and the reception kicked off in the amazing Governor Ballroom. Their wedding at the Sentinel was so beautifully celebrated, the shots were flowing and the dance floor was popping!
Ami & Aakash’s queer Hindu wedding was filled with so much beauty and emotion. Ami and Aakash love their friends and family so deeply. That love radiated all day on their wedding day towards each other and all those around them. There might not have been a dry eye during the ceremony, it was so beautiful. I wish all the happiness for these two and know they will continue to have such an important impact on all the people in their life and in this world. Ami and Aakash are truly magnificent.
When I met up with Camille and William at Hoyt Arboretum for their engagement photos I instantly fell in love with their sense of humor and love for each other and the world. They’re such an incredible couple and I feel so lucky to have met them. They braved and did a few outfit changes out in the woods – it was the best!.I love all the photos in the forest with the moss growing on the trees, and how green and woodsy their engagement photos are!
Michelle & Stefano’s wedding at the Treasury Ballroom was full of so much beauty and sweet emotions. The girls got ready at Hotel Vintage Plaza, where they had their first look and the guys got ready across the street at The Benson. Then all the fun cityscape bride and groom photos and bridal party photos happened on Broadway St. and in front of the Treasury Ballroom, where they had their reception. Stefano is from Haiti, and had his family and close friends all fly in for their wedding, it was so awesome. A sweet Mercedes car drove Michelle and Stefano to The Old Church where they had their beautiful ceremony and Duo Con Brio played gorgeous string music. When the guests arrived by shuttle to the Treasury Ballroom after the ceremony, they were surrounded by such gorgeous decor, tasty drinks & nibbles. After the cocktail hour finished, the curtains opened up to their reception area in the Treasury Ballroom and it was stunning! Each table was lined with such pretty flowers and place settings. The toasts were the perfect mix of hilarious and emotional! The dance floor was full, and the drinks were flowing all night! I’m so so happy for Michelle and Stefano!
Mt. Hood Organic Farms is one of my favorite little nooks in Oregon and one of the best places to have a wedding! Cassandra and Kristen, with Cassandra Cass Coordinating rocked their planning and made sure everything was perfect! Jenna and Wyatt had an amazing celebration in such gorgeous style with all their loving friends and family. Jenna’s wedding dress was so beautiful and sparkly and Wyatt and his guys looked so dapper in their matching floral ties and suits. It was such a magnificent day at Mt. Hood Organic Farms – the mountain was looking so beautiful and was the most majestic backdrops for their wedding ceremony. The festivities kicked off after the ceremony, while everyone sipped on tasty cocktails and enjoyed Cultivate Catering’s gorgeous and delicious hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour and played lawn games. The speeches were the perfect mix of laughters and tears of joy. After a few sunset photos with Jenna & Wyatt, a group of their friends found them – with handfuls of Sessions to shotgun! It was seriously the best. Wyatt plummeted his first, and the beautiful mountain all the while in their backdrop – some of my favorite photos from the evening! The dancing and merriment continued on the dance floor and outside the Apple House, as the sunset was so spectacular! I’m so happy for Jenna and Wyatt!
