I-ness is the seed of the world. Assuming the body as “l and mine”, one gets a variety of endless pains. BY giving up ego, an endless creation is forsaken, as it is ego, that sustains the whole world. “I am bound”-The “I” in it is the same as in “I am free,” or “I am Brahma” also includes the “I”. The removal of this “I”, is in reality, liberation. The world, the being and God, these three are one, but because of our ego appear separate. 

In truth, detachment should be from the body. Segregation from society, does not eliminate ego or individuality, but strengthens it. Our own self is divinely Eternal Existence, and it has no ego. If this is realized immediate salvation results. Struggle does not come from caste or religion, but arises from selfishness and ego.  Seeing something special in oneself, means strengthening of ego, finiteness and bodily pride. God’s creation reflects the image of God, but the beings give it an image of the world by their ego, attachment and fondness.

This is an exact science. This is also known as Laya Yoga. The six centres are pierced (Chakra Bheda) by the passing of Kundalini Shakti to the top of the head. ‘Kundala’ means ‘coiled’. Her form is like a coiled serpent Hence the name Kundalini.’

All classes are mandatory only in case of an emergency or illness one can take leave with respected teacher permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted and this will leave bad impression on student monthly performance.
Prerequisites A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. The practice and especially the teaching of yoga demand a high degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the program, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures and asana classes. Meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, drugs and nudity are prohibited during the course as they are counterproductive to the yoga practice. Participants who do not comply with the school rules may be dismissed from the
course. Discipline Rules for Students Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school. If you are having a fast any day, you have to inform kitchen manager for avoiding food waste. Always make discipline, respect teachers and follow all rules. Always be in the time, you are late means will not be permitted to join class. Clear your books of account before departure from Yash Yoga School. Before departure return your books, maps or any goods which you borrowed. Yash Yoga School provides accommodation for a student who join the yoga course. Lie face down. Fold your arms, each hand on the opposite elbow, and draw the forearms in so that the

chest is slightly off the floor and the forehead rests on the crossed forearms. Keep the legs together, or separate them a comfortable distance with the toes turned either out or in. Close your eyes, and relax the legs, abdomen, shoulders, and face. Turn your attention to the breath. Feel the cleansing flow of the exhalation and the rejuvenating flow of the inhalation. Remain in the pose for about 15 breaths.

Stand with the feet well apart. Raise the arms to the sides and bend forward from the hip joints, keeping the lower back flat. Now twist to the right and place the left hand on the right leg or on the floor in front of the right foot (bend the knees if necessary). Raise the right arm above you, turning the chest and head to look at that hand. Then, remaining in the forward bend, reverse the twist, taking the right hand to the left side.

Slowly alternate sides 3-5 times. Breathe steadily throughout the movements, exhaling as you deepen into the twist and inhaling as you release.

Benefits: Stretches the hamstrings and inner thighs; develops flexibility in the hips and spine; tones the abdomen; improves balance.

108 is considered a sacred number in Hinduism and yoga. Traditionally, malas, or garlands of prayer beads, come as a string of 108 beads. According to Hindu mythology and yogic texts certain facts has been revealed that are scientifically surprising.

According to Vedas and Upanishads number of facts and figures had been  discovered thousands of years back but we (so called calling us a modern society) now slowly-2 believing these facts.

Here are some facts which will draw your attention towards this number 108…..

  • The average distance of the Sun and the Moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters. 
  • Chakras are the intersection of energy lines, there are 108 intersection to form Heart Chakra.
  • There are total 114 chakras, out of them 112 are in our body and 2 are in our aura, so out of 112 , 4 chakras get activated easily and automaticlly, so rest 108 Chakras are left  on which you can work and make them active.
  • There are Puranas 108 Upanishads (Upanishad means the inner or mystic teaching. The term Upanishad is derived from upa (near), ni (down) and s(h)ad (to sit), i.e., sitting down near. These are the end part of the Vedas which briefly expound the philosophic principles of the Vedas and are considered the essence of the Vedas.)
  • In  Tamil traditions, 108 Marma points are enumarated. (Marma therapy is an ancient Indian practice whose focus is the manipulation of subtle energy (prana) in the body for the purposes of supporting the healing process. Marma therapy is based on the utilization of 108 points in the body which are considered to be access points to body, mind, and consciousness.)
  • In Belize, during the era of the Mayans, the High Temple of Lamanai was erected at 108 feet tall.
  • 108 degrees Fahrenheit is the internal temperature at which the human body’s vital organs begin to fail from overheating.
  • In Indian astrology we have 12 houses and 9 planets. 12 times 9 is equal to 108.
  • In Indian astrology, the metal silver represents moon. The atomic weight of silver is 108.
  • There are 54 letters in Sanskrit each can be mentioned shiva and shakti aspect, totaling 108.
  • It is believed that if a person calms his mind and have only 108 breaths in a day will get enlightment.
  • Krishna had 108 Gopis (female devotees).
  • According to Hinduism, our Atman (soul) goes through 108 stages on the journey.
  • The sacred River Ganga spans a longitude of 12 degrees (79 to 91), and latitude of 9 degrees (22 to 31). 12 times 9 equal 108.

So there is a lot more to the number 108 and significant history to its importance in yoga.

These disadvantages of mental knowledge no doubt exist.1 But I doubt whether anybody could mentally simulate to himself the experience of the One everywhere or the downflow of peace. He might mistake a first mental realisation for the deeper spiritual one or think the descent was in his physical when it was in his mental influencing the body through the mental sheath of the subtle body-but those who have no mental knowledge can also make these mistakes. The disadvantage of the one who does not know mentally is that he gets the experience without understanding it and this may be a hindrance or at least retardatory to development while he would not get so easily out of a mistake as one more mentally enlightened.

Usually they [persons without mental knowledge of Self] feel first through the psychic centre by union with the Mother and do not call it the Self-or else they simply feel a wideness and peace in the head or in the heart. Previous mental knowledge is not indispensable. l have seen in more cases than one sadhaka getting the Brahman realisation and asking “what is this?”describing it with great vividness and exactness but without any of the known terms.

Just after writing this I read a letter from a sadhika in which she writes, “I see that my head is becoming very quiet, pure, luminous, universal, vis’vamaya.” Well, that is the beginning of the realisation of the universal Brahman-Self in the mind, but if I put it to her in that language she would understand nothing.

Mental realisation is useful at the beginning and prepares spiritual experience.

It [book-knowledge] can help too at the beginning-but also it can hinder. It depends on the sadhak.

You have to learn by experience. Mental information (badly understood, as it always is without experience) might rather hamper than help. In fact there is no fixed mental knowledge for these things, which vary infinitely. You must learn to go beyond the hankering for mental information and open to the true way of knowledge.

All the experiences [of the Theosopbists] are mental except with a very few. Wordsworth’s experience also was mental. Mental experiences are of course a good preparation, but to stop there leaves one far away from the real thing.

Yes, if one has thought much of one kind of realisation and absorbed the idea deeply then it is quite natural that the spiritual experience of it should be one of the first to come.
