Last week I visited Seattle, Washington. This city is also, called the Emerald City because of its green landscape! It rains almost every day and the temperature is amazing! I really enjoyed this place and I am hoping to go back sooner, rather than later. I was there on a business trip, so my time was limited. These are a few things I was able to do while in Seattle.

A trend that is also popular during summer 2019 is tops with puffy sleeves! These sleeves remind me of the one's queens and princesses use in movies. Like Fiona from Shrek! HA! Well maybe not the best example, but you get the point!

I hate when any of my food goes to waste, especially fruit! I had 2 ripe bananas and some greek yogurt so I looked up a recipe for healthy banana bread. I also had recently bought some whole wheat flour from Trader Joe's and wanted to see how it tastes.

Summer is here and Tie-Dye too! Yeah, you read correctly tie-dye, according to Harper's Bazaar this summer will be extremely focused on this print. It is circulating very strong! So, if you have your old beach t-shirt it's time to get it out!

The past weekend I went to Austin to visit my sister-in-law. She suggested having brunch on Sunday at Easy Tiger since she lives right around the corner. She had mentioned this place before and when visiting San Antonio she brought a baguette from there.

After visiting Mexico City, we flew into Zacatecas where the wedding was taking place. Zacatecas is a colonial small town with beautiful landscapes and cobblestone streets. You can see hills and a lot of color throughout the town.  We stayed there for 2 days and here is a small guide in case you plan to go.

If you google Shrimps Bag surprisingly you will see a beaded handbag and then under all those images, you'll actually see frozen shrimps, those you get from your groceries store. I am just trying to give some perspective on how popular these beaded bags are. I have been looking at this bag since late last year but because I perceive it more as a spring/summer bag I waited until now to buy it.

One of my best friends got married last weekend in Zacatecas, Mexico. The cheapest way to travel was flying from Mexico City. We decided to fly non-stop SAT-MEX and stay there for two days before the wedding festivities. Mexico City is one of the biggest cities in the world! I've never seen so many people in my life! Also, it is filled with culture and amazing history! I can say it is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen.

A while back I was looking for a crockpot and my husband very kindly bought be an Instant Pot, which is more of a pressure cooker. I was a bit disappointed because it had so many settings and all I wanted was a simple old crockpot with high, low and warm settings. My husband's uncle gifted us a crockpot and I was very happy! After a few years, I rediscovered the Instant Pot and started learning more about it and now I am in love. Now, I want to cook absolutely everything in it!

Pants: Topshop // Bag: Amazon // Shoes: DSW // Blazer: Limited-Vintage similar here
Sunglasses: Amazon // Earrings: Forever21

90% of you voted YES on these yellow, spotted, plisse pants during a try-on session at Nordstrom Rack. I had not worn them because I was breaking my head thinking on how to style them. Sometimes the simplest things are the best, so I just decided to wear them with a black cami and a blazer. I really like how it looks, I'm sure it also looks good with a bodysuit (which I just ordered from Shein). I got these for only $18, so I looked for similar ones starting at $18.
