If you haven’t already started to plan your Christmas activities to enjoy with your friends, family, or your significant other, let us help you out! Here are some great events happening in the Township of Langley this holiday season that will surely get you in the Christmas spirit!

Loft Country Christmas

Loft Country Christmas

Langley’s newest Christmas Event set in the old west. Experience the fun of a live carousel, Santa rides, bumper cars, carnival games, live shows, petting zoo, food, and MORE!

Glow Langley

Christmas Glow

Christmas Glow is back this year with a new theme… Around the World! Stroll through millions of twinkling light displays, visit Santa Claus, shop through a local marketplace, enjoy live music, fresh eats and MORE!

Where: Milner Village Garden Centre – 6690 216 Street

When: November 22-December 29 Monday-Friday: 4-10pm, Saturday 3-10pm (Closed Christmas Eve & Christmas Day)

Christmas in Williams Park

The 28th Annual Christmas in Williams Park is back! Pack your car and head over to Williams Park where you can either drive or walk through the park to enjoy the Christmas lights on display!

Aldergrove Christmas Light Up Parade

The Aldergrove Christmas Light Up Parade is a free family event that takes place in Downtown Aldergrove along Fraser Highway. Enjoy carol singing, floats, free hot chocolate, a visit from Santa and MORE!

Where: Downtown Aldergrove – Fraser Highway between Old Yale Road and 273rd Street

When: December 8 @ 6pm

Willowbrook Shopping Centre

Photos with Santa Claus

Santa Claus is finally here! You can visit him every day until Christmas Eve for photos and to share what is on your wish list this year!

Where: Willowbrook Shopping Centre – 19705 Fraser Highway

When: November 21-December 24 – check website for Santa’s schedule

A Fort Langley Christmas

Hear stories by the fire, taste a chestnut roasted over the fire, and take a guided tour. Admire the charming holiday ambiance and take family snapshots at various scenic spots on site!

When: December 21-23 and 27-30 from 10am-5pm

Krause Farms Pancake Breakfast
With donations going to breast cancer research in memory of Liz Krause, come down and enjoy fresh pancakes for the whole family!

Willoughby Community Park Celebrations

Celebrate in the Township of Langley with live music, family-friendly activities such as face painting and mini golf. Food truck vendors and a mini farmers market will also be in attendance!
The event will be from 11am – 6pm

The Birth Place of British Columbia

Fort Langley will be host to its own celebrations for Canada’s 151, featuring cultural dances, flag raising and citizenship ceremonies.
The site will be open from 10am – 5pm

Blackwood Lanes Vineyard and Winery

From 5:30-8pm, come out to the winery for a prawn paella dinner on the patio. Dinner will be serenaded by Latin musical sensation Grupo Asi Somos. Guests will receive a complimentary glass of bubbly upon arrival and everyone is welcome to buy a bottle of wine to enjoy on the patio!
Tickets are $68 per person

As January comes to an end, the days are getting longer but the cooler wet temperatures are sticking around for a little bit longer. From rainy cloud days to ice and snow, we have put together a list of 6 coffee shops you should check out when you are in need of warming up!

Aldergrove-

Milsean Shoppe in Aldergrove has everything for the sweet tooth. Located on 272nd in a renovated fire station is the home to the Demerara Butter Crunch. Grab your coffee to go or stay awhile and try their delicious menu items, including the waffles! Don’t forget to stock up on their mouth watering chocolate and sweets too! Brookswood-

This cozy café is located right before Brookswood Park. Perfectly named for it’s delicious coffee and giant muffins, is Cravings Coffee & Bakery. Warm up with one of their delicious hot chocolates or grab a flavoured latte. Don’t forget to try their scones too!

Fort Langley-

A popular gelato spot in Fort Langley also makes delicious coffees and baked goods! Stop by Maria’s Gelato on Glover Road to warm up while you visit Fort Langley. Located at the Langley Airport, this small but mighty coffee shop serves the best pie too! After moving to the Langley airport within the last couple of years, the Airport Coffee Shop offers you breakfast, lunch and dinner or just stop for a cup of coffee or pie! Walnut Grove-

Nestled just off HWY 1 in the heart of Walnut Grove is where the Watershed Arts Café lies. This warm and welcoming café offers delicious bites to eat and coffee for everyone. Choose between varieties of dairy alternatives to mix into your cup of coffee. Watch their Facebook page as they will host live music in the café. Don’t forget to try their Green Goo as a salad dressing.

Located behind the Langley Event Centre in Willoughby Town Centre lies Mattu’s Coffee & Tea! You may recognize this chain as it’s also in Willowbrook Shoppping Centre! Not only can you stop in for your regular latte or steeped tea but you can grab a bag of coffee or teapot for your home.
