It has taken a while for me to warm up to the one-piece outfit trend that has been gradually emerging since about 2016. But, now I am fully onboard. I have grown to like jumpsuits, coveralls and would go as far as to say that I love the new boilersuit trend. Here, I explain why I have finally come round to recommending this bold and interesting style of clothing.
The level of choice is amazing
Top of the list has to be that there are so many different cuts and styles out there. For example, right now, there are more than 80 jumpsuits available at fashionworld.co.uk. A level of choice that means that finding one that works for you is going to be far easier than you may think.
A genuine all in one outfit
It is refreshing to be able to get up in the morning and not have to think too much about what you are going to wear. When you have a couple of boilersuits in your wardrobe, you just grab one and some suitable footwear and you are good to go. It really does not get any easier.
More versatile than you think
Boilersuits are also far more versatile than a lot of people. You can wear them practically anywhere. They are great for lounging around in the house, shopping, spending time with friends, holidays and much more besides. Once you buy one you will end up wearing it far more than you think you will.
Jumpsuits, playsuits, coveralls, and boilersuits are available in a big range of cuts. You can buy everything from soft flowing ones made from lightweight floral print fabrics to formal looking jumpsuits that have been cut to make it look like you are wearing a trouser suit. It is possible to find one that will work for virtually any occasion or activity.
No nasty drafts
For the spring, when the weather conditions change throughout the day they are ideal. You won’t get cold waiting for your train because the wind is whistling around the small of your back, getting in under your clothes.
They are amazingly comfortable to wear. Provided, of course, you do not buy one that is too small. To avoid doing this make sure you sit down, bend over and stretch up when you try yours on. That way, you will know that you can go through the full range of movements without it cutting into you.
Easy to launder
Most boilersuits are designed to be easy to launder. You just put them in the washing machine then hang them up to dry. They don’t need any ironing, which is a good thing because they are actually very awkward to iron. So, take the time to check the label and try to work out if the one you are planning can be laundered in this way.
How and when to wear a boilersuit or jumpsuit
If you want to know more about how to select the right style of boilersuit you can do so by reading this post. It showcases twenty different cuts and gives you a few ideas about how and when to wear each one.

I moved house 6 months ago and needed a few additional pieces of art to complete the decor. Having already purchased from DesenioI went straight ahead on their website in search for some more inspiration.
What I find very helpful is their inspiration images where you can buy the whole set, frames, posters etc. in 1 click. This time however, I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted a couple of neutral, simple posters that wouldn’t mean anything. It may sound horrible, but I already have my ‘accent’ posters. The ones that have meaning, like the ‘Oslo’ poster, and the mountain poster to represent our life in Norway. I needed some more posters that would seamlessly fit into my house decor without drawing to much attention to themselves.
Although I was sceptical at first, I actually like placing posters on the ground now. I have been seeing posters styled like this a lot on instagram and pinterest lately so I decided to try it. What do you think?

Just yesterday M. and me went on a little trip to Cannock Park. It was an amazing time because we got to actually reset our day and focus on the nature. The smell of the forest reminded us both of the times in Poland when as children we got to explore the Polish forests. I now think back at it and think, wow, how was I allowed to play with my friends in the forest? We didn’t have phones with us, we would sometimes get lost and try to find our way back. It was so fun though. Best times were when we would spend summer in Mazury which is a beautiful region in Poland with lakes everywhere and forests. We would eat blueberries everyday and jump into the dark lakes. When thinking about it all I realised that I don’t just sit and enjoy the times like these anymore. There is this haste inside telling me, you need to take a picture, you can’t just sit here, you have to be productive. This time we decided to consciously just be and guess what, it was amazing!
Now that we live in the Midlands and finally have a car (oh yes!) we get to explore the surrounding area and set ourselves a mission to see a new place every week. Being in the middle of the country has its up sides since we are close to nearly everything.
What is it like?
The park is full of great places, not only for kids but for adults and bikers. There are a few paths arranged from easy to severe so anybody can find a path for them. The great thing with Cannock Park is that even though it rained the day before all the paths were still perfectly dry because they were man made with pebbles on them. This helped because our shoes were not ruined although we had appropriate footwear in the car we decided to take a walk with our normal city shoes.
There is a playground for kids, cafe for those who cannot live without it and beautiful pools of water. Car park is cheap to £1 for 3 hours or free when you park on the road. The park is truly worth exploring and we will definitely be back to explore it more soon.
