Many people dream of being writers, but when is a good time to actually do it? Astrologically, writing is ruled by Mercury, Gemini, and the 3rd house. It can be helpful to write with the transit (moving) Sun, Mercury, Venus or Mars in your 3rd house. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus are in this house for about one month once per year, giving you a solid writing period. Mars is in the 3rd house for about two months every two years, and you can get a surge in energy and drive for writing.

Jupiter is in the 3rd house for one year every 10-12 years, and can give you a prolonged period of opportunity to write. Saturn in the 3rd house might make it take longer or zap your inspiration, but it can be good if you’ve been working on a writing project for a long time and doing right by it. Uranus can make inspiration come and go in spurts; Neptune can be good for imagination but requires more discipline; and Pluto brings a serious attitude about it. The Moon is in your 3rd house for 2-3 days each month and can give you a more emotional connection to your writing.

A progressed planet entering Gemini, your natal or progressed 3rd house, or conjunct, sextile, or trine your natal or progressed Mercury, natal or progressed 3rd house cusp, or natal or progressed 3rd house ruler can also brings excellent periods for writing, and it might be a reflection of where you are at the moment.

A new moon in the 3rd house or conjunct Mercury can be good for starting a writing venture, while a full moon in the 3rd house or conjunct Mercury can be good for finishing. Sextiles and trines to your 3rd house ruler and cusp can also be excellent, as well as to your natal Mercury.

You can also see all of these aspects with your Jupiter, 9th house, or Sagittarius since these rule publishing, so writing under a Jupiter/9th house/Sagittarius aspect can be for the purpose of getting published at some point, or can show getting your writing out there.

June's new moon occurs on June 13th at 3:42PM ET in Gemini. Gemini is the sign of the mind, so we can come up with lots of new ideas, new plans. and be more engaging and inquisitive. We can focus on learning new things, absorbing new information, sharing what we know, and we can be curious about the way things work. You can become interested in a variety of things, though we can lose interest pretty fast. The mind jumps from this to that!

We can focus on matters to do with young people, schools, communities, neighborhoods, siblings - all ruled by Gemini. We may see more people speaking up and shining a light on ideas and plans. We can consider lots of options, and we can get started with lots of plans. Do we stick with them though?

For the most part, we focus on the positives with a Gemini full moon, and our outlook is largely optimistic. We want to see the good, and we want to come up with happy ideas and plans. We can also be more engaging, keeping ourselves busy to use up the extra mental energy, and there can be plenty to work on and deal with. Always lots to do!

This new moon occurs at 22 degrees 44 minutes Gemini. The major aspects to this new moon are:
Conjunction: 20 degrees 44 minutes - 24 degrees 44 minutes Gemini
Sextile: 20 degrees 44 minutes - 24 degrees 44 minutes Aries or Leo
Square: 20 degrees 44 minutes - 24 degrees 44 minutes Virgo or Pisces
Trine: 20 degrees 44 minutes - 24 degrees 44 minutes Libra or Aquarius
Opposition: 20 degrees 44 minutes - 24 degrees 44 minutes Sagittarius

The full moon for June occurs on the 28th at 12:53AM ET in Capricorn. Capricorn is the height of the Zodiac, so we may see the culmination of some events or decisions or actions, feeling like we're hitting a high point or hitting our stride with the things that we've done right by and been responsible with. But we can also see setbacks, delays, failures, falls from high places, and humiliations for those who haven't done things the right way. Hint: Do things the right way!

Capricorn is ruler of authority figures, governments, and politics, so we may see some developments in these arenas. Some may do well, and others may falter (big!). Some may wither under the microscope, and others may thrive.

This full moon is conjunct (aligned with) Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, in Capricorn. That's a lot of Capricorn energy, so the influence is amplified. With Saturn, we're also more likely to see a downfall or a sharp rise, or both. We can also feel more restricted, confined, like we have limited options and need to be very careful we make the right choices. We may need to work on finding some space within the limitations so we don't suffocate under Saturn's restrictions.

This full moon occurs at 6 degrees 28 minutes Capricorn. The major aspects to this new moon are:
Conjunction: 4 degrees 28 minutes - 8 degrees 28 minutes Capricorn
Sextile: 4 degrees 28 minutes - 8 degrees 28 minutes Scorpio or Pisces
Square: 4 degrees 28 minutes - 8 degrees 28 minutes Aries or Libra
Trine: 4 degrees 28 minutes - 8 degrees 28 minutes Taurus or Virgo
Opposition: 4 degrees 28 minutes - 8 degrees 28 minutes Cancer

The basics: A retrograde occurs when a planet appears to be moving backward from our view here on Earth. It isn’t actually moving backward, it just appears that way because of the way the planets move in relation to one another. Mars retrograde once every 2 years or so for about 2 ½ months at a time. The last Mars retrograde we had was in mid-2016.

Mars madness! We're gearing up now for a round of Mars retrograde this time, and it kicks off in air sign Aquarius on June 26th (5:04PM ET). Mars loves to stimulate violence, anger, aggression, rage, and this can start off focused in Aquarius ways. With Aquarius ruling mankind as a whole, we may be more focused on how this impacts us all, and we may see violence used more broadly and generally on the masses rather than more pinpointed and individually. It can also play out in technology with Aquarius being one of the tech rulers and ruler of the internet, and we may see more issues with trolling, online predators, and hacking. It wouldn't seem to be the best time for social media companies either (I write this as Facebook is getting embroiled in the election scandal!).

Aquarius rules individuality, nonconformity, the unconventional and pushing boundaries, and we can see a lot more rebelliousness during this retrograde. People can stand up and say, we're not gonna take it anymore! But it's important to be smart with what actions we take and not resort to the violent tendencies of Mars retrograde.

Aquarius also rules our friendships, the groups we travel in a tribes we feel we belong to, so we may have a harder time getting along with our peers, or there may be an issue with an important group that arises. Aquarius also rules the causes that we champion, so one positive way to use the energy would be to focus on charitable ventures. So long as you're not blowing anything up to make your point, anyway!

Our hopes and dreams and the future is also ruled by Aquarius, so we may feel a little hopeless about something, give up on dreams, or are extra aggressive with the future, innovation, invention. We need to work on being realistic and creating the future that we want in healthy and positive ways.

And change is also the domain on Aquarius, along with the sudden and unexpected, so there may be some developments in the world that send us whirling, come as a total shock, and change everything as we know it. Be flexible, be open . . .

Ah but yes, flexibility and being open seems like it'll be a MONSTER of a challenge while Mars is retrograde in Aquarius because while he is, we'll have a fixed t-square that quickly becomes a fixed grand cross! Jupiter is in fixed sign Scorpio, opposite Uranus freshly in fixed sign Taurus, both of whom square (hard aspect, 3 signs away) retrograde Mars in Aquarius as he kicks off. Then Mercury enters fixed sign Leo on June 29th to oppose retrograde Mars, and Mercury will remain in Leo the rest of the time Mars is retrograde in Aquarius (because Mercury will retrograde in Leo!). We've had to deal with cardinal and mutable t-squares over the last few years, so now it's fixed's turn! Fixed energy is, well, fixed. It's immovable. On the positive side, it's reliable, dependable, and sees things through. On the negative side, it's stubborn, it's stuck, it's frustrating to the max. Hello rock, meet hard place! It may feel like the world is just plain old stuck for a little while, unable to figure out how to deal with problems and issues that arise, or being woefully stubborn about it's positions, opinions, and beliefs. We absolutely positively have-to-have-to-have-to work on being more flexible and open, otherwise we may find ourselves in a rut that takes an awfully long time to get out of, and create a lot more problems that necessary.

Mercury is retrograde in Leo during this time from July 26th - August 19th; Mars remains in Aquarius until August 12th, so July 26th - August 12th would be the most difficult period for this fixed energy. Adding to that is the lunar eclipse on July 27th, which occurs in Aquarius and conjunct (aligns with) retrograde Mars (who triggers the eclipse on July 24th; and the Moon is in Aquarius July 27th 6:41AM ET - July 29th 7:28PM ET). This would be the most likely to see some kind of major development, action, decision in the world, and the most likely time for violence, accidents, just something extreme. I'm definitely worried, though hoping that we're all feeling too lazy to take any violent action!

The retrograde kicks off June 26th at a special degree as well, 9 degrees Aquarius, which is a critical degree (8-9 degrees of fixed signs are critical degrees, points of critical energy). Mars retrograde is critical to July 10th. So there may be something critical that we're dealing with around the start of the retrograde, something that has come to an impasse, something that we're extra stubborn about, something that has wide-ranging impact. Mars first turns critical before the retrograde starts on June 12th, so this may be when we actually start feeling the heat of the retrograde before it officially begins. Early in the retrograde, when Mars is still critical the Moon will be in Aquarius June 30th (12:37AM ET) to July 2nd (1:31PM ET), and conjuncts retrograde Mars June 30th (7:10PM ET) at 9 degrees Aquarius, so this can be when our emotional focus is most of this energy, and we can be emotionally driven to take some sort of action, but we need to make sure we're not impulsive, impatient, and actually think things through. Difficult to do!

Mars doesn't retrograde entirely in Aquarius though; he will go back into earth sign Capricorn on August 12th (10:14PM ET), and finishes the retrograde in Capricorn on August 27th (10:05AM ET). On the one hand, yea for being out of a fixed sign, but on the other hand, uh oh, here comes a Capricorn stellium! A stellium occurs when 3 or more planets are in one sign, and both Saturn and Pluto are in Capricorn (and both also retrograde during this time). On the upside, Mars retrograde won't conjunct either of them, BUT when Mars enters Capricorn, he'll be at the anaretic degree. The anaretic degree is 29 degrees of any sign and a point of crisis energy, *especially* with retrogrades. I find it *almost*always* results in some sort of big important action. Mars will be at 29 degrees Capricorn August 12th - 20th, so this is another super hot period for the retrograde.

That energy gets focused on Capricorn stuff, and Capricorn rules governments, politics, and authority figures, institutions and the like. So yeah, not the best time for any of that! We can see people fighting against governments, politics can get even crazier, people in high places can have some very long falls, and we may not be as keen on traditional institutions, or a scandal erupts with one. (and yeah, I've been worried about that constitutional crisis!)

We may feel more restricted, limited, confined, overwhelmed by responsibilities, and pushing back to try and get some space. We need to make sure we're not completely avoiding what needs to be done and we need to be responsible with though, otherwise we can create problems we don't need.

Right after Mars is no longer anaretic, the Moon enters Capricorn on August 21st (12AM ET) to August 23rd (12:56PM ET), and is conjunct retrograde Mars August 23rd (10:19AM ET) at 28 degrees Capricorn. So whatever may come from the anaretic energy can stimulate some emotional response with the Moon joining with Mars in Capricorn.

As for major aspects made by Mars during this retrograde, he'll make four. First, an opposition to Mercury on July 5th (7:48AM ET), which can stimulate some major fighting over words, ideas, and plans, some hot rhetoric, and we need to be more mindful of the words we're using, and listen more to each other. Second, an opposition to the Sun on July 26th (1:13AM ET), which can make anger even worse, and we can have great difficulty controlling ourselves, and a positive, healthy outlet for all of the energy, anger, and frustration is needed in a big way. Third, a square to Uranus on August 1st (10:39PM ET), which is just before Uranus turns retrograde on August 7th so that retrograde starts square Mars retrograde, and there can be some major impulsive, impatient energy, major rebelliousness, major stubbornness, and there may be some unexpected events or developments out of nowhere. Fourth, a trine to Venus on August 7th (8:33PM ET), the lone positive aspect, and we may work on trying to compromise, get along a little better, or at least use passionate energy in creative ways.

During the retrograde, the Moon will be in Aries, the sign Mars naturally rules, July 5th (12:50AM ET) to July 7th (8:51AM ET), and August 1st (6:54AM ET) to August 3rd (8:51PM ET). This can bring extra emphasis on the retrograde energy emotionally, and we can feel waaaay off! The Moon will also be in Aries just after the retrograde ends, August 28th (12:35PM ET) to August 30th (9:30PM ET), so once the retrograde is over, we may still be reeling from the effects and feel like it's not quite over yet, or spend time reflecting on what has come to pass and how we feel about it all.

The Mars retrograde begins at 9 degrees Aquarius, so those of you Aquarians born January 26th - February 1st can be impacted most. The retrograde ends August 27th at 28 degrees Capricorn, so those of you Capricorns born after January 16th can be impacted most.
Check the house(s) Mars will retrograde in your chart and any aspects he’ll make so you can understand how the retrograde will impact you. Check out the Mercury, Venus, and Mars retrogrades page for interpretations.

If you have Mars retrograde in your natal or progressed chart, you may be exempt from the worst. This tends to protect you because the energy is more natural to you, and you can feel more comfortable with the retrograde energy, especially if you were born with it. You can still have problems though, because not everyone around you has this, so difficulties can be brought on by others.

Uranus, one of the slow-moving outer planets, starts moving into a new sign in 2018, entering earth sign Taurus on May 15th (3:18PM UT). He’ll retrograde back into Aries November 6th (6:57PM UT), and then come back to Taurus March 6th 2019 (8:28AM UT), to stay until July 7th 2025 (7:47AM UT). He’ll retrograde back to Taurus November 8th 2025 (2:19AM UT) and officially exit Taurus April 26th 2026 (2:51AM UT). So we’re looking at about 8 years of Uranus transiting Taurus.

Uranus in Aries (ongoing since 2010) has been a time of rebellion, of independence, of pioneering energy. In some ways, Uranus and Aries energy are extremely compatible. Taurus, on the other hand, is quite different. Taurus is a grounded earth sign, the most grounded, fixed, earthiest of the signs. So we have to merge the two, and we can experience changes in slower, steadier ways, taking more time to create change but once we do, we can see it through to the end (something that was a bit difficult with Uranus in Aries, a lot started but stopped along the way).

Taurus rules money, so we may see some ups and downs when it comes to money during this transit, and they may be bigger ups and bigger downs (we were in the Great Depression the last time Uranus was in Taurus in the 1930’s, for example). We can take bigger risks with Uranus, but Taurus doesn’t like to be *too* risky, so we may need to work on finding some moderation. Moderation may be key in many ways!

What we need to create stability and security in the world can undergo some major shifts with Uranus in Taurus, and we can find stability and security in the unconventional, the unusual, the different, and in ways we can’t even imagine now. The ways in which we’ve created stability and security can be challenged, especially with the ways we’ve been stuck in. Uranus pushes us to get unstuck and think outside of the box we’ve been living in.

Taurus rules our values, so value systems may also be challenged with Uranus in Taurus. We may embrace values that are more unconventional, or that at least give us more space for thought and to be true to ourselves, even if that goes against the traditional orthodoxy. There can be more embracing of science and technology, and merging that with our values (worshipping smartphones?).

Science and technology, which are Uranus-ruled, can become more practical in their applications to our lives, more accessible with Uranus in Taurus. While Uranus was in Aries, there was a lot of innovation, but maybe not so much in terms of innovation that we really needed and could benefit on a larger scale. We can be practical innovators?

Taurus is fixed energy, there can be many ways in which we’re all working to get unstuck while Uranus is in Taurus. Uranus hates being stuck, and Taurus is super stuck! But they can combine to bring some beneficial energy for getting out of ruts and bringing in some fresh air.

Speaking of fresh air, since Taurus is an earth sign and Uranus rules causes, Uranus in Taurus may be a great time for focusing on environmentalism. We can become much more passionate about improving the ways in which we treat the Earth. My concern is that the reason for this may be because we see some super extreme weather and climatological events that force us to get more real and get more invested. Which is definitely a scary thought considering how extreme it’s already been!

This year, in 2018, Uranus in Taurus will be a bit hot right at the start as he’ll be embroiled in a fixed grand cross midyear with Mars retrograding in Aquarius, Mercury retrograding in Leo, and Jupiter in Scorpio. This can be one of the most difficult periods of Uranus in Taurus, and we may feel extra stuck, stubborn, resistant yet perhaps unmoving, and we need to be more mindful of the energy at the time. Get grounded, get focused, and make some slow, steady progress. Avoid impulsive, indulgence, ignorance. Keep an open mind!

Jupiter will be in Taurus while Uranus is in Taurus May 16th 2023 - May 25th 2024, and the two will conjunct (align) April 21st 2024 at 21 degrees Taurus. Jupiter energy is expansive, so while Jupiter is in Taurus with Uranus, this can expand on the Taurus energy. We can have extra focus on finances, security and stability, the Earth and nature, and some things improve that we’ve been doing well with, and other things can get worse that we’ve been reckless with, and on a personal level, this can be found in the areas of life ruled by the house(s) in your chart these two will be touring.

While in Uranus is in Taurus, Mars will be in Taurus February 14th - March 31st 2019, January 6th - March 4th 2021, July 5th - August 20th 2022, and June 9th - July 20th 2024. Mars is energy and drive, so these periods bring greater focus on Taurus energy, and we can be more energized and driven for financial pursuits, to bring stability and security, to focus on confidence and sensuality, to be grounded, practical, and steady, to stick to what we start, and to connect to the Earth. Like with Jupiter, this can be found on a personal level with the areas of life ruled by the house(s) in your chart both Uranus and Mars will be transiting.

Mercury will retrograde twice in Taurus while Uranus is in Taurus, May 23rd - June 3rd 2022, and April 21st - May 15th 2023. Thankfully, Venus and Mars won’t retrograde in Taurus while Uranus is in Taurus, only Mercury will. When Mercury is retrograde in Taurus with Uranus, this can bring more difficulties to the energy, and we can struggle with being fiscally responsible, feeling stable and secure, can be extra stubborn and stuck in a rut, and need to focus on being more grounded. There can be more impulse and rebellion when Mercury retrograde and Uranus, and more unpredictability, so we’ve gotta stay on our toes at these times.

There will be four eclipses in Taurus while Uranus is in Taurus, three lunar eclipse and only one solar eclipse. The lunar eclipses are November 19th 2021, November 8th 2022, and October 28th 2023, and the solar eclipse is April 30th 2022. The solar eclipse and the November 8th 2022 lunar eclipse will be conjunct Uranus. The lunar eclipses bring more emotional energy into the mix, and we can see more endings come into play, and they can come about suddenly, unexpectedly, in unpredictable ways, in ways that impact the world at large, or in ways that impact the future. There can be some highs as well that come about suddenly, unexpectedly, or unpredictably. The solar eclipse can bring very beneficial energy, and we can focus on positive changes, pushing outside of social norms, challenging the traditional, finding new ways of having stability and security, and can focus on being better to the Earth.

While Uranus is in Taurus, Neptune will mostly be in water sign Pisces, two signs away or sextile, which is a positive aspect. At the end of Uranus in Taurus, Neptune will move into Aries, one sign away, or semisextile, also a positive aspect. Pluto spends most of the tour in Capricorn, four signs away or trine, also a positive aspect, and at the end, will be in Aquarius, which is three signs away or square, a difficult aspect, but only at the very end. So the other two slow-moving outer planets are mostly at harmonious angles to Uranus while he’s in Taurus, and the trio can mostly work well together over the next 8 years.

So that’s Uranus in Taurus in a nutshell! Enjoy? :)

Transit (moving) Pluto in the houses can last for a very long time - sometimes decades! - so you’re going to endure transit Pluto in one house for a very long time. Transit Pluto usually only moves through 3-5 houses in a chart during your lifetime. As Pluto is in a house, you’ll have to work to transform the areas of life ruled by the house. This can be most obvious when transit Pluto first enters a house, and you’re slapped in the face with his intense, passionate, profound energy. It’s tempting to run, but Pluto will just chase you down and torture you. So don’t do it!

Transit Pluto in the 1st House
The 1st house is the house of the self, so transit Pluto in the 1st house can bring about power struggles and control issues with virtually any area of life, you can be more relentless and intense, and rage can be a bit of an issue. You may come across very intense and serious, brooding and dark, and can focus on the darker issues.

How to survive:
This transit gives you a great opportunity to get more control over your life and find your own power. You just need to get through the start of it when you’re feeling a little rage-y and out of control. This is a great time for transforming yourself for the better in a deep and profound way, a way that will last long after Pluto leaves your 1st house. Focus on what you need to change about yourself or your life, and work on making changes that will stick. They can take a long time, and you may work at them one at a time, but by the time the transit is over, you can see you’ve completely transformed in every way. You may need to work harder at trying to be more optimistic during this time, but if you’re doing things right and you’re really working on changing, that can make it easier to do.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 1st house, hard aspects to the 1st house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 2nd House
The 2nd house rules your finances, values, security, and confidence, so having transit Pluto in your 2nd house can bring about big financial problems, make you question your values, take away what you need for security, or take away your confidence. You can feel like the rug has been pulled out from underneath you.

How to survive:
It’s crucial that you assess what you need to feel secure in your life and determine whether it’s positive and healthy or not. If it isn’t, work to eliminate it and replace it with something that is. The more you cling, the harder it can be. You also need to work on making sure you have a positive view of money, and are generating money is a positive way. If you’ve been in the grey area, that can bite you in a big way. If you’re normally not that financially responsible, that can be made worse until you work on becoming more detailed and focused on your finances. You may also need to work on developing a system of values that is true to who you are and that you can live by. If you don’t really connect to the values you say you’re passionate about or live them in your life, then that can create more problems for you. It’s important to be authentic during this transit.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 2nd house, hard aspects to the 2nd house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 3rd House
The 3rd house rules communication and your mind, so when transit Pluto is in the 3rd house, you can struggle mentally, getting stuck in foul moods, becoming obsessed with your interests, and wanting to dominate conversations with others, feeling it’s your way or the highway.

How to survive:
You have to work on getting control over your mind and words. Pluto rules control, so this can be easier to do, and you can use your mental energy to your advantage. If you aren’t forceful in communications and instead present clear ideas and thoughts, people can naturally admire your ideas and thoughts, and listen more to you and are more easily convinced of your position. Pick and choose when you inject your thoughts, and your words can carry more weight as well. You may need to work on transforming your way of communicating or learning so you can be clearer and more focused mentally, or work on transforming your outlook. If you’re getting stuck in bad moods, that may be a clue that you need to do some work on your mind to change your perception.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 3rd house, hard aspects to the 3rd house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 4th House
The 4th house rules the home, family, emotions, and foundation, so having transit Pluto in the 4th house can bring about power struggles and control issues at home or with family, emotional issues, difficulty controlling your emotions (especially rage), or feel that your internal foundation is shaky, which can lead to lots of other problems.

How to survive:
This transit is a good time for you to transform your view of home (what it means to you) or to transform your physical space (excellent for buying a fixer-upper and renovating). This can help you feel more connected to your living space, more comfortable and “at home”. You may also need to assess your issues with your family, and determine if you can salvage the relationships you have with them and transform them. If you can’t, you may need to let go. This can also be a good transit to dig deep within yourself, getting to your core, and understanding your emotional issues, what gets to you, what makes you tick, and how you can become stronger internally. There is a chance for you to become much, much stronger emotionally, and this can set you up for the rest of your life.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 4th house, hard aspects to the 4th house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 5th House
The 5th house rules love, creativity, and your children, so transit Pluto in the 5th house can show struggles over power and control in love, intimacy issues, getting obsessed with your hobbies and creativity, being overly serious at times and not being able to enjoy yourself, or have difficulties with your children (if you have any).

How to survive:
With the 5th house being a creative house, one of the best things you can do with Pluto here is focus on creative outlets, and using your creative side to help you unwind. Make time to do the things you love, even if you think they’re silly and you’re “too old for that”. If you have issues with love and intimacy, this is the time to work on them, otherwise you continue to have problems in your love relationships. Pluto loves it when you work on the stuff you’re holding deep down inside, and work to transform your approach and perspective. Be careful of becoming a little obsessed at times as well, or of attracting love interests to you who may be a little stalker-y. This may be a clue that you have something you need to work on. And if you have children, make sure you’re giving them enough room that they don’t feel you’re trying to control them.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 5th house, hard aspects to the 5th house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 6th House
The 6th house is the house of work, and rules your daily life and health, so having transit Pluto in the 6th house can bring about power struggles and control issues at work, with the people you work with or for, you may struggle to have passion for the work you do and have very little patience if you don’t care for your work, and you may struggle with daily life as well, having little patience or being more easily angered, and struggling to control your health.

How to survive:
When it comes to work, you absolutely need to be doing something you love to do. If you don’t, it’ll eat away at you until you explode one day. Avoid that by focusing on doing work that you love. If you’re not in a job you care for and you see this transit coming, start planning to make a change to do something you do care for. If you’re already experiencing this transit, work harder on the plan to make a change! Pluto loves a good transformation, so give it to him. As for daily life, work on being better in control of yourself through your routine, schedule, and lifestyle. This transit can help you develop some crazy good organizational skills! And make sure you have an outlet for any anger and frustrations that come up so you’re less likely to snap. For your health, it’s important for you to be more proactive with health issues and with living a more healthy lifestyle, and to take treatments more seriously. The outlet for anger and frustration is also helpful, and you may want to work on addressing anger-related issues that you hold deep inside of yourself, otherwise it can turn into health problems.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 6th house, hard aspects to the 6th house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 7th House
The 7th house is the house of relationships, so when transit Pluto is in the 7th house, you can experience power struggles and control issues in your relationships and with the people in your life. You may become aware of more and more enemies and people who seem to be working against you, and you may have more relationship issues come out. You may attract more people into your life who have ill intentions, are obsessive or controlling, or bring out your dark side.

How to survive:
It’s important for you to work on your relationship issues with this transit. The more relationship and commitment issues you have, the worse this transit can be, so work them out and transform the way you approach relationships and commitment. If you can do that, you can develop very strong bonds with others. People who come into your life who seem to be working against you may be showing you something you don’t want to see about yourself, or teaching you something you need to learn, BUT you shouldn’t keep anyone in your life who treats you badly just to learn a lesson. The lesson may very well be for you to stand up for yourself and get away from them! If you continue to see bad people come into your life or people already in your life turning darker, you may want to ask yourself if you’re the one bringing it out in them subconsciously.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 7th house, hard aspects to the 7th house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 8th House
The 8th house is the house Pluto naturally rules, so transit Pluto can feel at home with this house. This can help you to feel more at ease with the energy, and you can focus on trying to use the Pluto and 8th house energy well. Seek to dig deeper inside of yourself and others, to gain greater understanding, to forge stronger emotional bonds with others, to work on your inner demons, and to transform yourself or your life for the better,

When you have another transit planet in the 8th house, you can focus on this even more; if you have hard aspects to the 8th house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a hard Pluto aspect, you may need to deal with the darker elements of yourself or your life, and it becomes crucial to let in some light and transform.

Transit Pluto in the 9th House
The 9th house rules higher learning, long-distance travel, the law, and expansion, so when transit Pluto is in the 9th house, you can become obsessed with learning more about subjects and the world, with going far and breaking out of the chains around your life, and gaining as much freedom as you can, but it might mean running away from what’s important and meaningful. You can experience legal issues more easily and struggle to gain control over the situation.

How to survive:
The 9th house is a lighter house, ruled by optimistic Jupiter, while Pluto is serious and rules the darkness, so there’s a degree of balance that needs to be struck between optimism and expansion and realism and obsession. You may sway between them at times, but finding some middle ground can be a big help. You do need some more space and freedom to do your own thing under this transit, and the more chained you feel, the more you may rebel and run. Take space whenever you can grab it, but don’t push everyone and everything away. You may just end up isolated if you do that. It is a good time for learning if you can avoid getting too lost in what you’re learning. As for the law, well, don’t break it! You’ll be a lot less likely to get away with it or get off with a slap on the wrist, so don’t even think about trying. If you already have and are already in trouble, show you take it seriously and work to transform yourself.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 9th house, hard aspects to the 9th house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 10th House
The 10th house rules your career, goals, and direction, so with transit Pluto in the 10th house, you can experience power struggles and control issues within your career, especially if you don’t care for the career you’re in, become tragically ambitious and obsessed with achieving and succeeding, are overly difficult on yourself for perceived failures, and can become obsessed with the direction you’re going in, but may miss that you should change course.

How to survive:
If you’re not happy with the career you’re in, work on making plans to change and do what you love. If you love what you do, you can see less struggles for power and control. There may be people who are threatened by you no matter what you do, but keep your cool. If you can remain composed, you can come across as strong and powerful. This can attract people to you who are powerful and in positions to help you advance further. Make sure you’re making room for things that are not goals, but rather just things you like to do and people you enjoy being with. If you don’t give attention to your loved ones and don’t tne dot your heart, you can lose a lot in your life. Try not to be too hard on yourself if you fail, and work on learning a lesson and quickly coming back from defeat.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 10th house, hard aspects to the 10th house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 11th House
The 11th house rules your dreams for your future, friendships, groups you belong to, and causes you champion, so transit Pluto in the 11th house can bring out power struggles and control issues with your friends or in groups, make you obsessed with your dreams or with your causes, and you may force what you think on others.

How to survive:
If you start seeing power struggles and control issues coming up with friends or in groups, ask yourself if this is a healthy friendship or group for you first, and then ask yourself if maybe you’re the problem. If it’s you, work on the issues that are bringing about problems in the first place. With your causes, it’s good for you to do something for others and have a cause to be passionate about, but you want to make sure you’re taking time away to also take care of yourself. As for your dreams for your future, this can be an excellent transit to achieve your dreams and make them reality if you can avoid being obsessive. Be smart, do your homework, be responsible, but also make room for other things in your life, otherwise even if you achieve your dream, you’ll have suffocated it to death once you do.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 11th house, hard aspects to the 11th house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

Transit Pluto in the 12th House
The 12th house is the house of endings, rules what’s hidden to us, our subconscious mind, baggage, the past, and karma, so having transit Pluto in the 12th house can stir up deep subconscious issues, motivations, and desires, dredge up ancient history and past drama, make baggage feel even heavier, make you feel like the Universe is out to get you, or make you your own worst enemy.

How to survive:
There’s only one thing you can do with this transit, and that’s face the past, the baggage, the subconscious issues, all of that stuff that you’ve got hidden away inside of you or hidden away in the past, and bring it out. Face it, deal with it, and let it go. This transit can be a period of deep clearing and cleansing spiritually, emotionally, and physically. If you refuse to do this, you can see all sorts of things in your life go wrong, and it may seem like it’s random, coincidence, or strange in some way. This is an excellent time to dive into your spiritual self and forge a stronger connection to your intuitive side and the subtle energies all around you. You can develop a strong connection to the mystical and metaphysical, but make sure you don’t dive too far into obsession.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 12th house, hard aspects to the 12th house cusp or ruler, a hard Saturn or Uranus aspect, or a Pluto aspect.

May's new moon occurs on the 15th at 7:48AM ET in Taurus. In Taurus, we can slow things down a little, take a breather (probably needed after the Mercury retrograde!), and work on enjoying the moment a little bit. We can look around and smell the roses. Or maybe some cookies if you're like me and hate the smell of roses!

We can work to bring more stability and security into our lives and the world, and can feel more confident, placing more value in ourselves and our choices. We can work to live more by what we value in life, and focus on what we feel is worthy of our time and attention.

Taurus is one of the money rulers, so we may see some developments financially in some way with countries or corporations, and we can personally focus on improving financial matters and bringing more stability and security to our financial situations.

This new moon also occurs on the same day that Uranus moves into Taurus (11:16AM ET, so a few hours after the new moon). Uranus has been in Aries since 2010, and we start to shift our focus for the future (what Uranus rules). We can see more changes coming when it comes to anything Taurus related (finances, values, stability, security, anything with the Earth as Taurus is the earthy earth sign). Mars also enters Aquarius, the sign Uranus rules, overnight (12:54AM ET May 16th), so there is some major focus on the future and change! And with the new moon coinciding, we can be excited, enthusiastic, and ready for the new journey for the next decade.

This new moon is slightly wide (over 3 degrees) trine (positive aspect) transit (moving) Pluto in Capricorn. This can give us a little boost of power and control, passion and purpose, and we can work to transform for the better, remain focused, and want any changes to be the kind that will last a long, long time.

This new moon occurs at 24 degrees 36 minutes in Taurus. The major aspects to this new moon are:
Conjunction: 22 degrees 36 minutes - 26 degrees 36 minutes Taurus
Sextile: 22 degrees 36 minutes - 26 degrees 36 minutes Cancer or Pisces
Square: 22 degrees 36 minutes - 26 degrees 36 minutes Leo or Aquarius
Trine: 22 degrees 36 minutes - 26 degrees 36 minutes Virgo or Capricorn
Opposition: 22 degrees 36 minutes - 26 degrees 36 minutes Scorpio

The month's full moon occurs on May 29th at 10:20AM ET in Sagittarius. Full moons tend to be emotional energy but Sagittarius is the happy sign, so Sagittarius full moons tend to be a little less serious and intense than the rest. We can work to be more optimistic, to focus on the good that we've got going on, and want to make sure we're seeing the big picture so we're not getting lost in the weeds and causing unnecessary stress.

With Sagittarius, we may see something with learning or travel, an important legal decision or situation, or something that impacts the international community, all ruled by Sagittarius. We may be more passionate about our beliefs, defending them and standing up and speaking out. That can be a good continuation of the new Uranus energy too - Uranus loves a good humanitarian cause!

We just need to make sure we're not being closed-minded at all, and remain open to all of the ways of living, being, and maintaining space and freedom for all. If we don't feel we have the space we need and freedom we want, we can push and run.

Plans for expansion and exploration can be finalized, big talkers might talk a little bigger, and some promises may be empty, so be mindful of the ones you choose to believe.

This full moon occurs at 8 degrees 10 minutes Sagittarius. The major aspects to this full moon are:
Conjunction: 6 degrees 10 minutes - 10 degrees 10 minutes Sagittarius
Sextile: 6 degrees 10 minutes - 10 degrees 10 minutes Libra or Aquarius
Square: 6 degrees 10 minutes - 10 degrees 10 minutes Virgo or Pisces
Trine: 6 degrees 10 minutes - 10 degrees 10 minutes Aries or Leo
Opposition: 6 degrees 10 minutes - 10 degrees 10 minutes Gemini

On April 29th, a full moon occurs in water sign Scorpio, the sign before yours, and you can feel more emotional but may keep that to yourself, not wanting to burden anyone else. You can be extra compassionate and empathic, intuitive and understanding, and want to help others. You may need more time alone, and can be more easily rundown, so you may want time to yourself to recharge.

Best days for Love in April for Sagittarius: 14th, 15th
Best day for Money in April for Sagittarius: 7th, 8th

Capricorn April 2018 Monthly Horoscope

The Sun enters fellow earth sign Taurus on April 19th, and you may feel most like yourself when you’re being creative and pursuing creative projects and ventures. You can make more time for your hobbies, pick up new hobbies, and spend time with loved ones. You may come across as more affectionate, generous, and friendly. Venus enters air sign Gemini on April 24th, and you can enjoy spending time getting smaller tasks and chores done, being productive, and getting organized. In love, you can pay closer attention to your partner, if in a relationship. If single, you may want someone practical and reliable.

Mercury ends his retrograde in fire sign Aries on April 15th. A planet is retrograde when it appears to be moving backward from our view here on Earth, and the energy of that planet can get thrown off. Mercury has been retrograde since about mid-March, and you may have experienced issues at home, with family, felt unsettled emotionally, or felt the foundation of something was shaky. Now that the retrograde is coming to an end, you can strengthen the foundation of your life, address emotional needs, feel more supported or give yourself comfort, and can work on matters at home or with family.

Saturn, your ruler, turns retrograde in your sign, Capricorn, on April 17th, and Pluto turns retrograde in Capricorn on April 22nd. Over the coming months, you may feel off in subtle ways, need to work on having more space within limitations and giving yourself some freedom with responsibilities, and make adjustments to major transformations that..

Every sign has its own unique sense of humor. Some more than others (as some of you can attest to!). Leo and Gemini tends to govern humor, with these two being the silliest, goofiest of signs, the most light-hearted and the ones who love to laugh most. If you have a personal planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) or Jupiter in either of these signs or the houses they rule (3rd house for Gemini, 5th house for Leo), you can be seen as a more humorous person. Same can be said if you have either of these signs as your Rising or Midheaven.

Sarcasm is a horse of a different color. Sarcasm is decidedly fixed sign: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, with Scorpio being the most sarcastic sign. If you have several fixed sign personal planets, Rising, Midheaven, or planets in the succedent houses (2nd, 5th, 8th, 11th), you can have sarcastic humor. Fixed sign humor can also be darker and dirtier. Oddly enough, if you have your Saturn at a critical degree, especially if it's also in a fixed sign or in the 1st house, this can also instill a sarcastic sense of humor.

The fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) can prefer more physical comedy, and are the pranksters of the signs. The air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) can have a more intellectual approach to comedy, and tend to be drier or wittier. The earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) may take a little more time to move to laughter, and Cancer and Pisces can probably be the most misunderstood with their comedy. Pisces can like gross humor too.

For everyone, there's also asteroid Thalia (number 23), one of the Muses, who rules comedy. It's common to see this asteroid prominent in the charts of comedians.

Mundane astrology studies the impact of the planets on the world at large. It’s a wider view of astrology and how it impacts all of us as societies, countries, and Earthlings. When you're interpreting a chart in mundane astrology, whether it's for a country, corporation, or event, the houses in the chart can be similar to how they're interpreted in the natal. You just have to adjust for the fact that you're not interpreting for an individual. Let's review the houses in mundane astrology:

1st house: Just as the 1st house of a natal chart is part of the identity of the person, so too is the 1st house part of the identity of the country/city/corporation in mundane astrology. In the chart for an event, the 1st house can show certain people involved (in the chart for an attack, for example, the 1st house rules the attackers while the 7th house rules the victims). The general outlook of a country/city/corporation and way that country/city/corporation and society of that country comes across can be seen with the 1st house. Planets in the 1st house can seep into the “personality” of the country, just like in natal astrology. Planets moving through the 1st house and aspects to the 1st house cusp, ruler, and planets in the 1st house can impact the country/city/corporation as a whole, and in charts for events, can show a main focus or influence.

2nd house: The 2nd house rules finances, so in mundane astrology, the 2nd house rules the finances, wealth, and possessions/property of the people as a whole. The 2nd house also rules our values and value system, so the sign on the cusp and planets in the house can show the values of a country/city/corporation. Planets moving through the 2nd house and aspects to the 2nd house cusp, ruler, and planets in the 2nd house can impact the finances or values of a country/city/corporation, as well as the general confidence that the people have in the country/city/corporation. In event charts, the 2nd house can often show possessions or things of value that are impacted by the event.

3rd house: The 3rd house is one of the communication houses as well as one of the houses ruling travel, but it’s short travel, so travel by bus, car, bicycle, etc. In charts for countries/cities, it can show the way people move around, how they interact with one another, how communities come together, and things like traffic, mass transit, local newspapers. The 3rd house also rules young people and primary education, though some of the old books say the 5th house rules actual school since it’s where groups of children come together. I tend toward the 3rd house, but you can play with both. The 3rd house can show the general attitude of a country/corporation and the way it gets its message across or is heard.

4th house: The 4th house rules the home and country, family, and is one of the houses of foundation, governing the internal foundation for individuals, so it’s the “core” foundation of a country/city/corporation, the base. Transits and aspects involving the 4th house tend to impact the core of the country/city/foundation, shaking it or improving it. The land as well as the weather is ruled by the 4th house (and Moon), so this house can often be in play for weather events in event charts.

5th house: The 5th house rules what we find fun, our hobbies and love, so in mundane astrology, it can show recreational events, gatherings, or locations, often prominent in sporting events and celebratory gatherings. It can show what we as a society enjoy most and gravitate toward doing for fun. The 5th house rules the entertainment industry, so this house can also show the “celebrities” of a country/city. The 5th house rules children, so the children of a country/city come under the rulership of this house.

6th house: The 6th house is the house of work, daily life, health, and pets, so the health of a nation can fall under its domain. Transits and aspects involving the 6th house can impact health news, job news, the economy or some part of the job market, and often in charts for events, the 6th house can show the health of the people involved or that the event occurs at a workplace or involving people who work together. This house can show the general attitude toward work by a country.city/corporation.

7th house: The 7th house rules the other people in our lives, so this house can show the other countries/cities/corporations and foreign entities a country/city/corporation comes across and deals with. This house is one of the houses ruling our enemies, so it can show both the others we like and we don’t. In charts for events, the 7th house can rule the other people involved (like the victims). Transits and aspects with the 7th house can influence our ability to get along or to make peace.

8th house: The 8th house rules the money that isn’t ours, so the debts a country/city/corporation owe, the loans they take out or give, interest, and taxes. The 8th house is also associated with death (along with the 4th and 12th houses, and Saturn), and in charts for events, is often strong with events involving murder, terror attacks, shootings, etc. (and Scorpio and Pluto or Mars, the natural rulers of the 8th house). The 8th house also likes to pop up regarding situations of inequality or where people have felt oppressed.

9th house: The 9th house is one of the communication houses as well as one of the travel houses, but governs far travel by plane or boat, connections between faraway places (like big highways spanning a country), and higher education (colleges and universities). It can also be prominent in charts for events that occur in places or gatherings of recreation, especially where people from many places can come together or an international event. The 9th house also rules the law, so transits and aspects involving the 9th house can show legal issues a country/city/corporation is dealing with, or issues with the judicial system of a country/city.

10th house: The 10th house is one of the houses of foundation, ruling the external foundation of a country/city/corporation, as well as the public image that a country/city/corporation tries to present or has (what they’re known for). The 10th house rules our government itself, our leaders, the people in charge like a president, king, or CEO. Transits and aspects involving the 10th house tend to impact the leaders, the people at the top, or can make the country/city/corporation feel like they’re hitting a high point/reaching something important (since the 10th house is the highest part of the chart) or being kicked down (in charts for events, a retrograde planet conjunct the 10th house cusp often shows someone/something being brought down - sometimes literally).

11th house: The 11th house rules the masses, society as a whole, and groups. In charts for events, the 11th house is often prominent with events that occur with a large group of people. Transits and aspects involving the 11th house can impact society as a whole, as well as prompt change or rebellion since the 11th house is naturally ruled by Uranus and Aquarius, and bring out idealism or hope.

12th house: The 12th house rules places of confinement, so the prisons and hospitals of a country/city are ruled by the 12th house, and the people who work/live in them. The 12th house is the house of the hidden, so transits and aspects involving the 12th house often bring out something that’s been hidden in the dark and out into the public consciousness, exposing dark underbellies and unseemly characteristics of society/cities/countries/corporations. The 12th house also rules endings, so in the charts for events, the 12th house can represent how the event ends (especially in charts for sporting events, the 12th house is often tied to however the game ends).

Neptune can be a difficult planet to understand, mostly because his energy is so foggy. He clouds our judgment and makes us think we know what’s happening, only to be blindsided once he’s departed and the cold light of day hits. With the areas of life ruled by the house transit Neptune is touring in your chart, it can be so difficult to see what’s really going on, and we can be easily fooled. Those areas can get hazy, difficult to understand, and you can be easily deceived or manipulated. Become aware with the houses, that’s key! Transit Neptune usually spends many years (over a decade!) in one house. This brings continuous Neptune energy to the areas of life ruled by that house. You don’t always feel its presence (it usually becomes more obvious under Neptune transits, transits to the house ruler, or other planets going through the house), but it is always there, and the start can be very intense.

Transit Neptune in the 1st House
The 1st house is the house of the self, so having transit Neptune in your 1st house can impact you directly. While you can come across more Neptunian - charismatic, intuitive, and compassionate - you can also be much more easily deceived and manipulated, and have to fight hard to make sure you don’t fall victim to anyone who wants to take advantage of you. You can also wander a bit through life if you’re unsure of what you should be doing.

How to survive:
It’s important to work on manifesting Neptune positively under this transit. Explore your spirituality, work on forging a better connection to your intuitive self, and do more to help others. The more solid of a connection you have to your soul, to the subtle energies around you, and to the subconscious motivations of others, the easier it can be to sense who the bad guys are you need to avoid and when you’re being sold on something empty. You can develop such a strong intuition under this transit that your gut can be your greatest guide. There can be struggles with believing it sometimes though, so work on the connection and have confidence in your abilities. Having a strong connection to your intuition can also help you to find your true purpose. Without that, you can feel like a nomad.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 1st house, hard aspects to the 1st house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 2nd House
The 2nd house is the house of money, so having transit Neptune in the 2nd house can impact you financially, and you can be swindled by someone who wants your money or valuables (watch for the Ponzi scheme!). You may have a hard time keeping track of your finances, and this can put you in a bad position financially over and over again. You can also be more insecure, and this can impact your ability to create stability.

How to survive:
Being more aware of your finances is important under this transit, and staying grounded financially. Keep rainy day funds - more than one! - to protect yourself if you get hazy. This transit is really about releasing unhealthy attachments to money and possessions, and finding a spiritual connection to them instead. Use your money to do good things for others - donate more to charity, put a relative through college, buy items for a shelter - as well as good things for yourself that enrich your life (taking a class, travel, joining groups to meet new people). If you feel you have a negative view of money or rich people, work on changing that to something positive. Work to let go of the negative feelings you may have toward money or about money. Also work on being more confident and believing in yourself. Having a healthy dose of confidence can help you stay grounded and improve your security.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 2nd house, hard aspects to the 2nd house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 3rd House
The 3rd house is the house of communication, so having transit Neptune in this house can impact your ability to understand and to be understood by others. You may not realize you’re not being clear, or others may feel that no matter what you say, they don’t get it. You may have a hard time dealing with logic, facts and figures, and get lost in your imagination a lot. Focus can be difficult, and dealing with anything you find boring can be a challenge. You can also fall prey to someone who sounds really good, but is really bad.

How to survive:
Your imagination is more active, so let it have an outlet. Give it time to run wild regularly. This might mean taking time on a daily basis to write, read, watch a movie, or just daydream. When you give your mind the time it wants to fantasize, it makes it easier for you to deal with the practical here-and-now. This can also help to protect you from the pretty-speaking swindler. As for being misunderstood, this is where having an artistic or creative way of expressing yourself can be a super helpful. Communicating like normal may become too challenging under this transit, so you need to find a Neptunian one. This may be through music, poetry, painting, whatever suits you. When you communicate this way, people are more likely to respond favorably and understand what you mean.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 3rd house, hard aspects to the 3rd house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 4th House
The 4th house rules the home and family, as well as your emotions and internal foundation, so having transit Neptune in your 4th house can make you unrealistic with your home or family, and you may do too much for your home and family and lose yourself, or feel yourself detach from them emotionally. You may get lost in your emotions at times, and while you can be super compassionate, you can also have a hard time keeping your emotions in check.

How to survive:
It’s important to be more realistic with matters at home and with your family. If you think every is roses, it’s probably not, so try taking a step back and listening to what your gut tells you. If you’re constantly drained and invested a ton of time with your family or at home, that is something that probably needs to be addressed. If you feel your relationships with family have dissolved, you may need to ask yourself if this is truly the right thing for you. As for your emotions, the more spiritually secure connected you are, the easier it can be to manage yourself emotionally. Without that connection, you can feel untethered. If you have a hard time expressing yourself emotionally, try creative or artistic means (singing, writing, dancing, painting, sculpting, acting, etc.)

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 4th house, hard aspects to the 4th house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 5th House
The 5th house is the house of love, so transit Neptune in the 5th house can impact your love relationships. You may not see the people you love realistically, or they may not see you realistically, and that can cause problems. You can be taken advantage of by people you think you love, and you can fall in love with all of the wrong people. You can give too much to the people you love, and lose yourself a little bit when you’re in love, thinking that’s the way it’s supposed to be.

How to survive:
You obviously need to be more realistic with the people you love, so you need to ask yourself constantly if this relationship and person is really healthy and good for you. Take a step back as much as you can and ask yourself if this was someone else, not you, would you think it’s still rosey? If you have a hard time finding any faults with the person or problems in the relationship, this may be a clue that you’re not being realistic. Soul connections can be good to work on under this transit, so work to strengthen yourself spiritual and strengthen the spiritual connection you have with the people you love. Creativity can be a good outlet for you since Neptune rules the arts and the 5th house rules your hobbies, so make sure you have lots of time to spend on creative pursuits.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 5th house, hard aspects to the 5th house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 6th House
The 6th house rules your work, daily life, and health, so transit Neptune in the 6th house can make it difficult for you to focus on work that needs to be done, not wanting to deal with anything mundane or stick to any kind of schedule or routine. If you’re not satisfied with the work you do, you can become even more unsatisfied and want to do something else. You can also experience health issues that are difficult to diagnose, treat, or are brought on by stress.

How to survive:
Embrace some changes in your life on a regular basis. If your daily life remains the same, constant, you’re more likely to become more and more restless. Try to do more on a daily basis of the things you love or that replenish your soul. If you’re not happy with your work and you see this transit coming, perhaps prepare to do something else. Work most likely under this transit will be spiritual, metaphysical, artistic, or helpful. As for your health, you have to be very careful with what you consume and come into contact with under this transit. You can become very sensitive to all manner of things that you weren’t before, so pay careful attention to what you eat, wear, clean with, skincare products, makeup, medicine (even over the counter). The more you’re stressed, the more likely this will be, so work to manage your stress levels. Tending to your soul needs and being creative help with that.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 6th house, hard aspects to the 6th house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 7th House
The 7th house rules your relationships, so transit Neptune in the 7th house impacts all of your relationships and the people who come into your life. You may see people unrealistically, and do anything for the people you care about, similarly to the 5th house influence. You may have unrealistic expectations from the people in your life, either because they’re actually not as great as you think they are or because you have some subconscious issues to work on.

How to survive:
If there are some relationship or commitment issues you need to work out, this is important to do, otherwise you can continue to have problems come up again and again. Once you’ve cleared that, focus on developing more spiritual connections with people, but try to be clear about what your expectations are from them. If people are continuously disappointing you, this may be a clue that you need to be more realistic about what you expect from others. If you feel like you’re constantly attracting people to you who take advantage, work on forging a better connection to your intuition so you can figure out who to run from faster, and work on elevating your energy levels (working on emotional issues, developing your spiritual self, removing blocks) so you’re naturally attracting better people.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 7th house, hard aspects to the 7th house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 8th House
The 8th house rules “other people’s money”, so while transit Neptune is in the 8th house, you can experience financial problems because of other people, give too much to people who are swindling you or don’t deserve it, or may have a hard time keeping track of the money taxes, loans, business finances, or joint finances. The 8th house also rules intimacy, so you may share too much of yourself with others.

How to survive:
When it comes to your finances, you need to make sure you’re staying on top of it, and not just trusting other people to do the right thing by you. That puts you in a bad position to be taken advantage of. Investing may be dicey during this transit, so work to be more responsible and cautious. When it comes to intimacy, you should work on forging a spiritual connection with others, but not rush to act as though you have a spiritual connection with someone. The One cannot come along ten times. This can be a great transit for developing your spiritual side, becoming passionate about your spirituality, and forging a deep connection to your spiritual self.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 8th house, hard aspects to the 8th house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 9th House
The 9th house rules higher education, travel, and your beliefs, so when transit Neptune is in the 9th house, you can have difficulty focusing in school or with learning, especially if you’re trying to learn something you feel is very mundane. You may experience more difficulties with travel as well. And you can be taken advantage of by someone who sounds really good and whose beliefs you buy, but they may just be trying to take and take and take.

How to survive:
If you’re trying to learn and you can choose what you’re learning, try focusing on Neptunian subjects (the metaphysical or spiritual, anything artistic or that helps others). If you have no choice but to deal with mundane subjects, give yourself lots of time to for study and practice but takes lots of breaks too so your mind has the chance to wander when it’s appropriate. As for travel, try going to places that are near or on the water, and make sure you know your travel schedule by heart before going, otherwise you might miss something. With beliefs, you should be more cautious with someone who sounds too good to be true, because they probably are. Listen to your own instincts and what your own soul says about what your beliefs are. You don’t need to find someone to follow. Lead yourself.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 9th house, hard aspects to the 9th house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 10th house
The 10th house rules your career, goals, and direction, so having transit Neptune in the 10th house can cloud your judgment when it comes to the goals you want to work on or how to achieve them, the career you want to have or how to make it happen, or the direction your life is going in or how to stay on the right path. People can also see you in a way that’s difficult for you to control since the 10th house rules your public image.

How to survive:
Get in touch with your instincts and let them guide you. With a strong connection to your intuition, they can act as a guide to help you figure out what path to go down, what goals to focus on, what plans to make, and what you want from your life professionally. This can be an excellent time to embark on a career that is Neptunian - something to do with the metaphysical or spiritual, something that helps people, or something artistic/creative. You can be more charismatic with the way you come across, and while you can’t control completely how people perceive you, the more confident and secure you are in who you are, the less difficult that can be. You may also be very imaginative and creative during this transit, which can overtake being practical at times, so make sure you’re more grounded so you don’t get lost.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 10th house, hard aspects to the 10th house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 11th House
The 11th house rules your friends, groups you belong to, causes you believe in, and your dreams for your future, so with transit Neptune in the 11th house, you may have a hard time with friends or groups, getting taken advantage of or letting bad people into your life. You may get lost in the causes you believe in, wanting to give too much to others. You may be uncertain of your future dreams, or of how to achieve them.

How to survive:
Having more confidence and being more grounded can help you with attracting better people into your life. Don’t be afraid to let people go that are bad for you, and focus on the connections that are healthy and positive. If you start to get a bad feeling about someone, that’s probably a clue. As for your causes, it’s good for you to do a lot to help others and the world, but you need to find your limits and set boundaries so you’re not giving too much of yourself away and stressing yourself out, draining yourself, or feeling resentful. When it comes to your dreams for your future, let your intuition tell you what you should focus on and how, and work on making your dreams a reality rather than a simple daydream. With Neptune here, it can be easy to not do anything about them, but you can achieve a lot more if you work at it.

This transit can be more prominent in your life when you have another transit planet in the 11th house, hard aspects to the 11th house cusp or ruler, or a Neptune aspect.

Transit Neptune in the 12th House
The 12th house is the house naturally ruled by Neptune, so having transit Neptune in this house usually isn’t as big of an issue as the other houses. Neptune can feel at home here, and you can be more at home with the energy. It can be easier for you to tap into your spiritual self and intuitive side, to be compassionate and understanding, to deal with the past and let go, to be creative and imaginative, and to let your dreams be active.

If anything, it might just go a little too far at times, and you may get lost in your dreams, in helping others, in your spirituality, or in the past. This likely comes out when you have transit Moon, Saturn, Uranus, or Pluto in the 12th house at the same time, a hard aspect to the 12th house cusp or ruler, or a hard Neptune aspect.
