If you’re the kind of couple seeking fun, funky vibes and fabulousness, then a Neon Museum Wedding offers a one-of-a-kind experience with amazing memories right in the heart of Las Vegas. Talk about an awesome backdrop for photographs; it’s pop culture at its finest.

Our Aussie pair, Holly and Michael, hail from Melbourne and planned their nuptials for adventure, romance and modern-day matrimony. They let us handle all the fine details and find the Las Vegas Photographers who could capture the true essence of their love and untamed spirit.

Holly and Michael laugh about their special meeting five years ago; it was at a dive bar in Melbourne, but the romance developed into a rich relationship of respect and compatibility. They wouldn’t have done it any other way. It became “Vegas or bust!”

A Neon Museum Wedding at the beautiful facility features famous Las Vegas signs from years ago. These unique pieces have been preserved, so the public can appreciate the artistry, color and value of days gone by under the bright lights.

The museum offers an outdoor exhibition space and an indoor gallery; it’s a cool place for holding wedding/elopement style nuptials. The Downtown Las Vegas Murals create an exceptional and timeless background for your Las Vegas Wedding Photographers to record key moments.

For Holly, the dress had to be contemporary and sexy. She chose a custom-made mini dress/gown with a sheer lacy train. Her long blonde, wavy hair was adorned with a tiara by Crystal Eclipse Crowns. Holly’s custom-designed ring is a purple knockout.

Michael matched Holly’s hipness with a purple velvet tux and black trousers, and as you can see by our Las Vegas Photographers, the images are sweet and romantic surrounded by colorful Downtown Las Vegas Murals.

Congratulations on choosing our Neon Museum Wedding.

The MGM Skyline Terrace Suite is a great location for a destination intimate wedding in Las Vegas. The views are expansive, the space is divine and often times you can bring in your own vendors.

We have photographed a few weddings in this location and each has its unique twist. Natalie and Jacob’s wedding was one of our favorites here because they still choose to have a semi-traditional wedding with the Vegas theme. They wanted to escape their traditional plans in their hometown and treat their select guests with an experience in Las Vegas. They didn’t disappoint.

As you can see from the views of the Terrace it truly is a great location. The Skyline Terrace Suite is two stories and features an 800 square foot terrace with furniture and plenty of room to really take in the views. All of our weddings have opted to have their ceremonies on the Terrace which has proved to be a photogenic and memorable experience.

On the interior, the suite features high ceilings, a nice lounge “living” area, and a sink. The upstairs master bedroom and bath is where it’s at though! The lighting and the views are perfect for a wedding day “getting ready” with bridesmaids and family and friends.

We’d say this location is great for a guest list of 50 or under.

Some things to keep in mind, MGM may require you to use their vendors, caterering services etc. If you are interested in using your own, you’d have to bring those folks in on your own and depending on the number of guests it could get difficult. Please consult with MGM to find out more!

We have photographed about 5 weddings at this location and find it to be a really nice alternative to the chapels. You can host your entire party in one location!

At this location, you will enjoy Las Vegas’ mild temperatures. Year-round events can be planned, however, spring and fall will provide the most moderate temperatures. Keep in mind, though, that if planning a winter or summer wedding, temperatures can become uncomfortable for some.

With summer temperatures reaching an average of 103 degrees and winter temperatures dipping to a chilly average of 59 degrees, appropriate clothing for the outdoor setting should be considered.

Convenient to this location are the many amenities nearby, which are sure to keep both you and local and visiting wedding guests happy and entertained. Located just under 12 miles away is the Silverton Hotel and Casino. Here, one can reserve lodging, as well as dine at any of the many restaurants within the hotel, including Twin Creek Steakhouse, Seasons Buffet, Sundance Grill, and Mi Casa Grill Cantina, among several others.

Depending on the time of year, many entertaining options are available. Every Friday, however, you can depend on live music in the Shady Grove Lounge. Other entertainment possibilities for the entire family include Bass Pro Shops and the massive indoor aquarium full of exotic fish, with a mermaid making her appearance several times daily.

Just outside of the parking area, you may also enjoy the newly added Cracker Barrel. With no major travel involved, within 10 minutes are several other shopping and dining options.   For those interested in outdoor activities, Red Rock Canyon is just a short drive away where there are many hiking and biking trails as well as several mountain climbing opportunities.

If you don’t mind driving a bit and are up for a mini-road trip, Pioneer Saloon is just about an hour away. Here, you can take a trip back to the wild, wild west. Eat and drink at this historic pub that has been made famous by being featured in a number of movies and television shows.

This year we had so much fun taking family photos! So many folks wanted to do something fun and unique, plus the weather in Vegas this fall was great! This family wanted to get some desert vibes in their photos because they have only been in Vegas for about a year now. They wanted to showcase to their family and friends what is unique about living in Vegas (it’s above 30 degrees in December for one!) so we picked Nelson’s Landing for our destination.

As professional photographers in Las Vegas we have to constantly be coming up with fun, new ideas, locations etc. Eldorado Canyon / Nelson’s Landing is an ever-evolving location as the owners are constantly adding new props.

Cynthia and Daniel knew Vegas was their wedding destination as it was a great location for all their family members to meet up! Having family and friends from all across the country makes choosing a wedding location sometimes a challenge! That’s when Las Vegas pops up to the top of the list because it’s always accommodating to get to Vegas, there is plenty for guests to do and it seems like everyone enjoys a Vegas experience every-so-often!

These two planned their wedding in the summer and opted to host their activities inside the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel. We still had an opportunity to venture around the property for some beautiful portraits while the guests enjoyed the air conditioning.

Lucky for us, the amazing vendors this couple picked made the indoor ceremony experience divine. Naakiki did an excellent job creating a beautiful, lush floral feeling and providing outstanding decor while DJ Mike Fox never disappoints as the MC. We were proud to photograph this amazing couple as their Las Vegas wedding photographers and we are wishing them a lifetime of success!

Maren and John flew in from the UK to share their love for each other in front of the iconic “Pipe Dream” sculpture. This unique union was accompanied by a walk downtown Vegas with the awesome murals from the Life is Beautiful festival!

This wedding was also featured on the blog Bespoke Bride! Read their story here.

When asked, the bride said:

“We chose to get married in Las Vegas just because it’s such a cliche somehow but also because we wanted to make it our own. Jon was going to Vegas with his friends anyway and we kind of decided to get married there..and have the honeymoon in the US road tripping. It took about 2.5 months to arrange things.” Maren began.

We are so excited to feature this amazing couple on the blog today! We collaborated with our sister company, Cactus Collective Weddings, to put together this epic downtown elopement. It’s rare that we get the privilege to photograph an intimate wedding of a local couple and we got the opportunity with this special couple, Rachel and Scott!
What started out as “we are going to get married at The Justice of the Peace” turned into, with a little inspiration from us, an intimate wedding in downtown Vegas that fit this couple’s style and vibe. Plus, these two love downtown and even met at the Container Park, where Rachel was bartending at the time. So, they picked their favorite wall, we brought our team and we make some beautiful, fun and raw images that these two will be able to cherish for a lifetime!
