How special and meaningful to get married on the same property as your parents, both of your aunts and uncles, and cousin. That was the case for Maggie as she promised forever to Townes last month. Still can’t get over how beautiful their wedding day looked. Magnolia trees, historic plantation home, classic lace and black tux, precious family and friends + some amazing reception decor. You seriously have to check out the incredible 3 tier hanging wreath over the bar area, I mean wow!

If you saw Maggie’s bridal portraits then you remember me saying how incredibly sweet she is. After getting to spend time with Townes on the wedding day I can confidently say he is just the same. Their calming personalities pair so nice together and I loved watching their constant smiling glances at each other. They were so welcoming to us and seriously cared for us like family. I know I say it a lot, but I’m so blessed to work with so many amazing couples.

This was the classic southern wedding that makes my heart smile. Even with some rain and overcast weather, you would have never known. Everyone was so happy and I love it when couples (and their guests/bridal party) don’t get upset about the rain. I wish you could have seen everyone having such a great evening dancing and celebrating with the most amazinnggggg band (Atlanta Party Band).

Big shoutout to all the wonderful vendors that helped make this wedding day perfect! (Everyone is listed at the bottom of the post).

I was so excited when Anna wanted me to take her senior photos! I took her sister’s years ago and knew Anna would be another treat to photograph. Not only is she a beautiful girl, she is also so easy to photograph, I mean just look at that first photo on the left, so gorgeous! Anna kept me laughing during the shoot and I think her personality really shines through in these photos. Sweet, fun, and down to earth. Enjoy just a few of my favorites below!

Senior sessions are still some of my favorite sessions to do. I know it’s a big deal graduating and to have photos to celebrate that milestone is a gift. It’s so exciting seeing the seniors excited for their sessions and having a car full of outfits to pick from, I love it! If you’re interested in working with me, contact here! I’d love to hear from you!

Taylor is one of those girls who you can instantly be friends with. She is so down to earth and comfortable to be around. I have really enjoyed working with her and getting to know her and her family. We met up one evening at the beautiful Tin Roof Farms for her bridal portraits. Of course she looked amazing in her
Evelyn's Bridal’s dress and the light was absolutely perfect. We photographed Taylor and Daniel’s wedding a few weekends ago and I can’t wait to share my favorites from their day! Be sure to follow along on social media so you don’t miss out on those photos!

Corn fields, farm land, and the beach, does it get any better? Samantha and Jacob decided to include many things that are special to them. Jacob’s family’s farm, their pup Henry, and the place they love to go, the beach. I love when couples can personalize their sessions.

One of the most exciting parts about this session was when they asked me to climb massive silos for a few photos. Originally, I was thinking yea, I can do that, no problem! Then arriving and seeing how insanely tall they were I started to panic haha. They assured me they do it all the time so I mustered up the courage to actually climb it. I was gripping the metal bars so tight I had blisters at the end haha! It was definitely an adventure I will never forget!

I’m so excited for these two and their future together. They clearly can take on anything together, no matter how dangerous (ahem, silo climbing) or adventurous.

No one else ask me to climb anything, I’m done! Haha! Enjoy all my favorite photos below! Also, view Samantha’s twin sister’s (Nicole) wedding here. So pumped to work with their family again!

When I showed up to Maggie’s bridal portrait session there was a slew of cars. I instantly thought, ok this girl has a big fan club! When I walked in, I was welcomed by the most friendly and inviting family. Maggie and her family are some of the most kind people I have ever met. Maggie is very close with all of her family so when it was time for bridal portraits they decided to make an evening of it. They had a buffet of the most delicious food (and sent me home with a plate!) as they spent the evening together admiring Maggie. It was really sweet and made me realize how thankful I am for my family.

Maggie and Townes’ had their incredible wedding day this past Saturday and I can’t wait to share more photos from it. They were married at her aunt’s house, the same place we took Maggie’s bridal portraits. This house has a lot of history and it was awesome seeing them transform the space for the wedding. The property is sooo stunning with gorgeous, massive, trees and surrounding farm land. It was really special because as we were taking a few photos indoors, Maggie’s mom mentioned how this was the exact spot she had a bridal photo taken of herself years ago. So special.

Maggie had a stunning off the shoulder dress with lots of lace accents and I love how she had the perfect classic updo. One of my favorite parts of the session was how Maggie had two veils. One new one she bought with the dress and then Townes’ grandmother’s veil. Both were so stunning and I love that Maggie wanted to showcase both. One for sentimental reasons and one of her own that I’m sure she could pass down one day as well. (Townes’ grandmothers veil is the one that has the detailed lace all across the edge).

Enjoy my favorites below! This is one stunning bride and I’m so honored to document these special moments!

I was so excited to photograph Brent and Halie at Tin Roof Farms! The weather was great, the light beautiful, and of course, the epic setting that is Tin Roof Farms. But best part was Halie and Brent! They are not only the cutest couple, they are also down to earth and so sweet! We met these two years ago playing softball and luckily stayed connected on social media since then. So happy we did because they remembered us after they got engaged!

I love that Brent and Halie are high school sweethearts. It’s clear they are meant to be together. They are so relaxed around each other and you can tell how in love they are. I’m so excited to witness and photograph their wedding! Enjoy my favorites from their engagement session below!

We got to photograph Logan and Nicole’s proposal, engagement session, bridal session and their wedding also!! To say working with these two is wonderful is an understatement. They make you feel like you’ve been best friends all your life. That’s how down-to-earth and friendly these two are (and their families!).

Logan and Nicole have been together since middle school! I know all of their friends and family have been waiting on this day for a loonnng time! What an honor to be the ones to capture it! They got married at the beautiful Cotton Top Plantation and the whole day was so beautiful from start to finish (with the help of some awesome vendors-listed at the bottom!).

I loved their blue tones with Nicole’s stunning dress and cathedral veil. Their outdoor ceremony was just stunning, I never tire of outdoor weddings! We had great weather until about 8 pm, haha! You’ll see in their photos how the clouds rolled in and we had to make a run back to the tent! So glad we got all of the portraits done before it rained. Everyone crowded into the tent but it didn’t stop the fun and dancing!

Enjoy some of my favorites below! There are a lot, sorry! :)

Just look at how stunning Nicole is!! This photoshoot was so fun with Nicole, her twin sister, and mom. They constantly kept me laughing and are a joy to be around. We walked around the gorgeous gardens of Magnolia Plantation and this place is incredible! If you’ve never been, you should make a special trip.

Nicole and her Elegant Bridals dress were a dream to photograph and I’m so glad she brought her fur baby, Tilly, along. She is the cutest pup...she even looked like she was smiling in every photograph! :)

We photographed Nicole and Logan’s wedding this past Saturday and I can’t wait to tell y’all all about that and show all the beautiful photos! Enjoy some of my favorites from her bridal session below!

When we drove up to Rob and Melanie’s wedding venue, the sky was cloudy, it was drizzling, and you could hear thunder in the distance. But, when you walked inside the venue, you could see the most amazing floral linens, a black wedding cake, and a very happy bride and groom. The weather didn’t matter, these two were getting married and it was going to be amazing no matter what.

Melanie and Rob are just so cute together. I wish you could have seen the way Rob swooped her up and kissed her during their ceremony! It was precious and one of my favorite moments I witnessed that day. These two also have such great style (hello black invitation, black cake, and black floral bridesmaids dresses!). I’m still obsessed with all their details. We absolutely loved working with these two. Their kindness towards us is something I’ll never forget! Enjoy my favorite photos below and don’t forget to read about their proposal. Rob did awesome!

He told me we were going to see a movie at the Nickelodeon on Main Street and meeting up with his friend and co-worker, and his wife. The details of the story were incredible, I was even texting with her that day saying how I was excited to finally meet her! So, any time we go anywhere on Main Street we always like to get ice cream at our favorite spot, Sweet Cream. We got our ice cream before the movie and were sitting on a bench outside when “randomly,” our friend who is a photographer walked down the street and stopped to talk to us for a while. Rob then asked him if he could take a picture of us and we proceeded to stand up, and then all of a sudden Rob was down on one knee with my ring in his hand asking me to be his wife! I was TOTALLY shocked and it definitely took me a minute to understand what was happening (poor Rob haha!) and then I finally got it together and said yes!

We loved spending time getting to know Pete and Kendall during their engagement session! It’s not often we get to go to the city for portraits, but this time we did and it was so beautiful! Pete and Kendall had all their favorite spots picked out so were able to spend time talking, walking, getting Starbucks, and of course, taking photos. Pete might have been a bit hesitant about all the picture taking in the beginning, but in the end he said he had so much fun ;)!

We are so looking forward to their November wedding this year! Read more about how they met below! I always love these stories!

“Pete and Kendall met at Birdsong Brewery in Charlotte. Pete was ordering a beer at the bar when Kendall noticed him. Pete ordered a beer that they no longer had on draft. The bar tender walked away and took a really long time to come back to this kind and patient man to get his order. Kendall asked him what he wanted to drink and told him that she'd order it for him. Kendall ordered a drink for Pete and herself :) Pete paid (seems to be a reoccurring theme in our relationship) and they started talking. Kendall did most of the talking (another theme in our relationship) and Pete listened intently. Kendall apologized for talking so much and Pete said, "don't apologize, I like it." Kendall may have known in that moment that he was the one and the rest is history as they say :).”
