Parenting a child with ADHD can be challenging. Join us as we learn how fathers can play a crucial role helping our ADHD child thrive.
We are privileged to have a husband & wife team (Frankie & Tina) who has a son with ADHD, ASD and Dyslexia facilitate this workshop. They will use a mix of video, presentations and group sharing to help us understand :
what is ADHD ?
what our ADHD child needs most ?
how can we adjust our expectations yet help our child thrive ?
and most importantly, how we can partner our spouses better ?
This event is organized by SPARK Singapore. We are a registered charity promoting ADHD awareness in Singapore. If you have any questions, please contact Tina (Email : firstname.lastname@example.org / WhatsApp : 91705127).
i know that you have probably heard people say that sports is good for ADHD kids. Let me explain why. if your kid has ADHD, then they are probably always moving and not able to sit still for long periods of time. So if we put them in sports then all their excess energy has somewhere constructive to go. They will learn discipline, they learn that hard work leads to results. But most importantly, they will have a happy place to go to and whenever they get angry at someone or when someone is angry with them.
Gymnastics is fun and is a great way to unleash all their pent up energy during the upcoming school holiday.

All schools have children diagnosed with ADHD and whose parents are at various levels of coping with their child. However, individually, schools may not have the resources to initiate parent groups within their schools or may not be able to do this as supporting parents is not within the purview of MOE.
This is where SPARK can come in.
As an organization supporting parents with ADHD, we plan to run support groups for Schools on a Cluster level.
