MYKONOS RESTAURANT A PERSONAL LIST OF RESTAURANTS IN MYKONOS: WHERE THE LOCALS EAT As some of you know, last summer I went on a small holiday adventure in Greece with my sister. To be more precise, it was in Mykonos. While I was there, I decided we should find some local restaurants to try in order to enjoy real Greek food like your typical Mykonos inhabitant. And at the same time, we should take pictures and collect addresses so that I would be able to share our findings on here on Turning Point with you. Once there, that’s exactly what we did and now I am here to unveil what we have discovered. Our 4 local food places in Mykonos. With food pictures, mood pictures, plus something less important; menus and prices. 🙂   FOR BREAKFAST MYKONOS LOCAL RESTAURANT #1 : THE LIBERTY BREAKFAST ROOM Even though I find this establishment quite expensive; the most expensive out of all my suggestions I must say, it was an am amazing spot and with great breakfast. I went there to eat twice, and both times were totally worth it. There, you can enjoy a savory breakfast inside or out on the terrasse, in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying the view of the […]

THE DORIA BODRUM HOTEL ONE HOTEL ADDRESS IN BODRUM The Doria is a nice hotel, rooms equipped with sitting areas and balconies with land or garden view. The staff is friendly as well as welcoming. The service (such as massages which are at a reasonable price) and accommodations are good. I have indulged into one of the massages offered by the in-house institute there and it was exquisite. A moment of pure relaxation and bliss; so you should definitely try it, if you get the chance. The best thing about this hotel was the scenery. Because it is located at the very top of one of Bodrum’s many hills, we had a grand view over Bodrum city and the Aegan Sea. THE ADDRESS Doria Hotel Gündönümü Mevkii 1410. Sk. 48400 Bitez Bodrum Muğla,Turkey Phone: +90 252 311 1020 You can read more about Bodrum here. Read more about Bodrum.   WHERE ARE YOU GOING THIS SUMMER? WHAT ARE YOUR BODRUM HOTEL PROPOSITIONS? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW 🙂   Did you like this article? Do you have questions? Suggestions? Recommandations? If you do, let me know in the comments. It will help me a lot! You can also show me your love by sharing what I do […]

WEEK 1 That week fast paced and stressful week at university, as we were all focused on finishing our project and present to our client and once that was done, we got all together and celebrated the end of academic year at the premises. Meanwhile, my friends and I were trying to organise our holidays together. We have decided to do with my two best friends a group travel for the first time this summer in Mallorca, so we were adding members to the trip and making bookings. On that same week I was also working at my side job, I had a bloggers event organized by Belvedere Vodka which they chose to name the “Urban Gardens of Belvedere“. A name that I can filled comprehend after seeing the venue where it took place. This event was hosted at the FloorTwo Bar, that you can find on the rooftop of the Hotel Kempisky in Geneva. I had never been there and I must say that I was more than pleased to discover this spot. One major thing that happened this week is my visit to a friend whom I hadn’t seen for ages, but we finally got to meet for her housewarming party after she had […]

MY KOREAN MUSIC PLAYLIST #1 JUNE 2018 Today I am sharing with you my personal and first Korean music playlist. This list  represents all the songs that I have been listening to, throughout the month of June and some of them even before. Also I know that a lot of people are obsessed with K-Pop, but you might want to know that this playlist is mostly K-Hip-Hop and K-Rap (Korean Hip-Hop and Korean Rap). You will find Kpop here, it just won’t be your usual mainstream groups like BTS or Wanna One, but more artist like PLT or neonblue (Henny and Jamie). I would like to put into light one song which I didn’t put in the list, because it goes back to February. This song totally rocked my world and shaked my soul; which doesn’t happen often (nearly never) and has happened twice this year. Once with a song by an Haitian artist (Jessica Généus – Nan ou) and once with MOMOM (몸마음) by Hyokoh. If you want to listen to or get one of these songs you can, because I have put an iTunes link for every song that I could find. I hope you enjoy it and let me know whether you like this type […]

Turning Point by Stéphanie Guillaume - 1M ago

Hello, I welcome you to this new series called “The Bi-Monthly”. In this series, I am going to share with you twice a month my daily life. I hope you like it, and I count on your opinion. Kisses and see you soon! WEEK 1 This week was A g-rea-t week. A week of relief, a real break after having worked on a project for a client for 3 months. No more stress or dealing with colleagues who get you into highly unhealthy moods. In contrast, our directors invited us for a “end of project” celebratory drink and that was pretty awesome. Spent all afternoon talking about sometimes nonsense, some other times very serious topics with comrades and members of my university’s support system. This week was also my first time doing a collaboration (unpaid) with the fashion brand NAKD. On Saturday I posted on Instagram (@turningpoint_sg) a try-on haul video that I had filmed and edited at home – which you can watch here. By the end of the weekend, Sunday I did my very first self-portrait photo shooting with a pretty leopard dress from the package that NAKD had sent me and I was pretty happy with the […]

TESTING MY DNA WITH MYHERITAGE As you may know (or not know), I am come from Haiti, I was born in Haiti and the same goes for my parents and my grandparents. But ever since I discovered some DNA testing video on youtube a while while back, I’ve been getting curious about testing my DNA. One thing leading to another this is exactly what I did with MyHeritage, a DNA testing company, when they contacted me. And I want to thank them for sponsoring today’s article. Before we dive in, I want to let you know that you will find a little gift at the end of this article, and before that; my results and a link to my video reaction on instagram. So please read on.   WHAT IS MYHERITAGE? MyHeritage is an online destination which allows you to discover your ethnicity through DNA testing and study your family’s ancestry. It was founded in 2003 in Israel by Gilad Japhet who is an entrepreneur and a family historian. More than a destination, MyHeritage is also a platform where you can create your family tree for free and/or find lost relatives you never knew about thanks to the test, which […]
