I'm a 28 year old Scandinavian girl living in wonderful Copenhagen. This blog is a ‘personal’ lifestyle blog. I mostly share fun bits and pieces of my life here. That includes anything from movie reviews to travelling, to my ‘Monday Mumbles’ where I share my thoughts and update you on my daily life.
I think not ) sidste år.
This is one of my favorite posts to write and it has sure been a while since I’ve written one. I love doing my movie research and checking out what movies are out there the next few months. As usual I’ve been to the cinema a fair bit the past months. I’ve seen Stan & Ollie, Avengers: Endgame, Shazam!, Dronningen, Captain Marvel and Cold Pursuit. Here are a few movies in chronological order that are coming to the Danish movie theaters (they may be released earlier or later in other countries) during May and June 2019, which I really want to watch!
WHAT TO WATCH IN MAY & JUNE AT THE CINEMA
I generally dislike horror movies, because they freak me the hell out. Aaaaand I usually end up not being able to sleep… But, Greta seems more like a Thriller than a straight up horror movie. Honestly just watch the trailer, I’m sure it’ll intrigue you as well.
In Long Shot we meet the unemployed journalist Fred, played by Seth Rogen, who randomly gets chosen to write speeches for the American secretary of state Charlotte (Charlize Theron). Turns out that Charlotte used to babysit Fred and suddenly both their lives changes. I think it looks like a sweet movie with a decent plot, and I like most of the actors in it.
I’m 100% biased when it comes to this movie, because I really really like the actress. Jane The Virgin anyone?? Gina is good, and although this movie looks mediocre I am sure she will make it watchable. The plot doesn’t look amazing, seems like a pretty standard action film with some FBI involvement and a cartel. Still… one to watch for Gina!
This actually looks pretty shitty! (I’m selling it to you real good right?) But hear me out: It’s Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson – they’re two pretty cool ladies. I personally did laugh a little when watching the trailer, but I will gladly admit the plot is thin. I still think it could make me laugh and for that reason I’d like to watch it.
This is the third installment in the John Wick series. I haven’t actually seen the first two (I will try and watch them in May ) but this movie looks really good, and Matt told me the first two were good. John Wick is a bad ass retired hitman who is being hunted by well… other hitmen.
I have a thing for movies that are based on a true story – Red Joan is one of them. Set in England we meet Joan (Judi Dench), a seemingly quiet retired woman. One day the MI5 knocks on her day, and arrests her for being a spy for the KGB during WWII. Of course this is loosely based on the real story, but it honestly looks really good.
Who here didn’t love Aladdin as a kid? I for one did. Genie was my fave, he always made me laugh. And although Will Smith can never replace Robin Williams, I think he is a good choice for the role. I mean if anyone can do it It’s mr. Smith! I can’t wait to watch it, I’m very excited
This movie is from like 2017, but has first made it way to the cinema in Denmark now (kinda odd to be honest…). Edie is 83 and there is talk about moving into a care home. She decides that her life is far from over, and embarks on the ultimate adventure: Climbing a mountain in Scotland. The trailer almost makes me cry, it just feels so inspiring and beautiful. MUST SEE.
Isn’t it a bit weird that this comes out just a year or so after Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) and The Dirt (Mötley Crüe)? I think it’s a little bit funny… this feeeeeling insideeee. No but really, it seems odd. Nevertheless I love Taron Egerton, he is such a good actor, and I guess it’ll be fun to learn a bit more about Sir Elton John.
I loved the first two Men In Black films, I liked the third and I don’t know how I’ll feel about the fourth. It’s a completely new cast, which I think is a pretty brave thing to do as most people love Will Smith in this universe. But, I like Liam Neeson and Chris Hemsworth so I’m game to watch it. It does like kinda a funny in the trailer, plot wise I’m not sure it’s amazing but I am certain it will be entertaining.
Most people from my generation knows who Christina Aguilera is. Either you have heard her music, seen her in a movie, or maybe seen her as a judge on The Voice (US). For me I believe the first time I learned of her was from the song Genie In A bottle or What A Girl Wants. Those two songs used to play on the radio a lot back in 1999/2000, I also remember wanting her album for Christmas.
It’s safe to say that I’ve been a fan for quite some time. I think she has sung many great songs over the years, some who helped shape me as a teenager (holla at me if you also over played beautiful or fighter). The last couple of albums she has released are not my faves though, but there’s a few of the songs on them that are still fine.
A few years ago I saw this above “nude” shoot of her, and I just thought she looked so gorgeous! I mean she LOOKS so pretty. Better than ever really, and those photos makes me totally girl crush on her. I also love that she isn’t stick thin anymore, but actually has beautiful curves and shows them off. All in all I think this shoot of Christina is so pure and beautiful – I had to share it!
You can see some of the other inspirational women I’ve mentioned right here if you’d like.

At the end of last year I joined the Google Digital Coordinator course here in Copenhagen. I actually encouraged my friend Vanessa to join too, and we (luckily) ended up in the same class – yay! It also turned out that two people from my master’s degree class were at the course too, such a small world isn’t it?
The first couple of days basically consisted of an introduction to the course and fellow ‘students’. At the end of the first week we were placed in groups, and somehow Vanessa and I ended up in the biggest group in the class: we were seven people (most groups were 3-4 people) and at first we thought we might be too many. But we all got along instantly, and we worked together rather well. At least that was what I experienced.
I have to say that I am so thankful to have met the people in my group, because they are such lovely beings. In fact, we have made sure that we will all keep in touch, and to do so we arrange small get-togethers every now and again.

THE DAY OF OUR MINI GRADUATION
We had a mini graduation on the last day of our course, where we all got our diplomas/certifications. It was also the day where we had to do a big presentation of our case. The company (which the case was about) were present and all groups had to pitch their results. Martin and I had volunteered to present our groups ideas/findings, and for that our sweet group bought both of us a box of chocolate. Such a sweet thought.
I think it was very kind of Google, and the team at Succes Online, to arrange a small graduation ceremony to wrap things up. After the graduation we (the group) went to Dalle Valle for a meal, and to say a proper thank you to each other for great teamwork.
WHAT CAN YOU DO AS A DIGITAL COORDINATOR?
The whole point of joining the google digital coordinator course was to brush up on some digital tools, and to learn to use new ones. We had some great teachers, and fun group assignments. We covered many subjects within the four weeks, but mainly focused on working with Google Analytics, SEO and Google Ads. It was an intense course, and very fast paced, but I think it gave us (at least our group) a lot. Not only did we get to know each other, we also learned new things and perfect other skills.
We have specifically worked with:
General Digital mindset
(Expanding our knowledge on digital tools and possibilities for companies)
(I now have a certification within this and know the basics)
(I brushed up my skills as I already knew a fair bit)
(We worked with Google Ads which gives me basic knowledge)
(We only covered this slightly, but I have worked a bit with it before)
(As I have worked with WordPress 9+ years I didn’t learn anything new)
If you are considering joining Google’s success online course, I can definitely recommend it. Even if you know some basics of the tools, it’s great to learn new ones or brush up on them. You do have to apply as they only accept a certain amount of people per course. So here’s a link to the Digital Coordinator course at Google.
