Happy International Women's Day! I hope you take today to love yourself a little extra. I can't help but think of all the beautiful women I have in my circle of friends and how amazing and unique we all are.
Relationships are beautiful. The experience of getting to know someone in an intimate capacity is magical. If you didn’t know, I’m a believer in the idea that love conquers all. I guess you could say I’m a hopeless romantic. But like most things in life, relationships end sometimes. Whether we grew apart or there was toxicity in the relationship, I can look back and see that each one came to teach me something valuable that I’ll use moving forward.
In today's post, I want to discuss personal mantras. A personal mantra is defined as an affirmation to motivate and inspire you to be your best self. It is typically a positive phrase or statement that you use to affirm the way you want to live your life. The older I get the more I tend to believe in manifesting things by positive thinking.
As I previously mentioned in another blog post, I have combination oily (acne-prone) skin. I've gone to a few dermatologists and I've gotten many facials but essentially my skin does what it wants. My skin used to really bother me (sometimes it still does) but I've learned to embrace it over the years.
