When a new Pokémon game lands on whatever handheld device, you know I'll be there. From the Pocket Pikachu to our modern smartphones, I'll play whatever, even Pokémon Dash. But honestly, I've not played Pokémon Rumble before. I've seen the games, read the reviews, watched the footage, and honestly, it just didn't seem worth it for me. It lacked the Pokémon gameplay I was looking for, and instead had mindless attacking with little tact. ... [MORE]

As of right now, there's really only one place to play Pokemon games if you don't have a Nintendo device, and that's on mobile. It isn't just Pokemon Go that I'm talking about either - right now there are loads of Pokemon games available on the App Store and Google Play Store. Need some names? Okay there's Pokemon Shuffle Mobile, Pokemon Magicarp Jump, Pokemon Duel, Pokemon Quest, Pokemon Trading Card Game Online, Camp Pokemon, and the recently soft-launched Pokemon Rumble Rush. That's seven games even if you don't count the behemoth that is Pokemon Go, which you almost certainly should, and another potential one on the way in the next year as well. ... [MORE]

“Everything we create, whether it’s a game or an animated series, is aimed at entertaining the inner child in us all.” That’s the philosophy espoused by Outfit7, the company we recently interviewed about its upcoming endless runner Talking Tom Hero Dash, the latest entry in the hugely successful Talking Tom and Friends franchise. Talking Tom Hero Dash promises to be the most exciting game in the series so far, with Outfit7 explaining that for the very first time “our popular characters have been transformed into incredible superheroes! In Talking Tom Hero Dash you get to help Talking Tom and his friends on their mission to save the world, which is pretty awesome.” We’d have to agree that it is indeed pretty awesome - we’ve certainly never seen Tom looking as cool he does sporting his new superhero costume. ...
