The days are long but the years are short. Enjoy every single minute, every cry, the sleep deprived days and every single snuggle! I’m so lucky to be able to capture these sweet babies in their first 2 weeks of life. After that they change and grow so quickly. You literally feel like you blink and they are all of a sudden starting to crawl.
I absolutely LOVE having this job. Capturing these little details, hands, sleepy smiles and deep dreaming babies! It isn’t easy photographing babies- but I know it’s exactly what I was meant to do!
Not only is this a favorite location of mine to shoot at, but this is such a special family to me! I have captured them several times this past year and I love getting to watch so many milestones. This family is going to be moving off the island in a couple months and it makes me so sad, but I’m so happy for them to be closer to family on this next chapter in their lives.
SO much love and Aloha to Bernard, Khadidja and Zander!!!!!!!! The sunset behind the mountains couldn’t have been better for your final session here!
Cheers to love and a happily ever after!!! This beautiful couple escaped the cold in Canada and came to celebrate their 20 year anniversary here in Hawaii. They spent 4 days on Oahu and 6 in Kauai <3 What a perfect way to celebrate.
They picked the most perfect location for their session and I had so much fun running around the beach with them and getting knee deep in the water the get the perfect shots! The skies were pretty stormy as it had just rained before we started. The sunset clouds made for one epic finale.
Babies features change and they grow so quickly it’s hard to remember sometimes how little they once were. Sometimes as new parents we forget to stop and appreciate the moments and we just remember how tired we are, how little of sleep we got and how they cried all day! Forget that! Remember their little cries, the way they smell after their baths, the cuddles, the love, their flakey skin and the coos!!! As a newborn photographer, My favorite thing is capturing these beginning days as parents and how itty bitty your baby is. My favorite place to be is on the beach, photographing them on this gorgeous piece of paradise.
This little man. This tiny coconut!!!!
Aloha and welcome to this great big world, Brady!!!! I’m so happy after getting rained out the first day, you slept like a dream wrapped up like a burrito- sonic and warm!!! I could feel the love from his parents for him and for each other. Nothing more special than that!!! I was SO excited to edit these images. I think this may be a favorite newborn beach session of mine…. until the next lol!!!
Enjoy the gorgeous images of these beautiful new parents and their tiny coconut!
I’m literally just in love with this entire gallery! This evening was the evening prior to the storm and winds that Oahu and the Hawaiian islands had. I wasn’t sure how it was going to go or if we should reschedule but as you can see…. it was PERFECT!!!!
From the moment I met Taryn and her son Liam, I knew we were about to have the most amazing session! Taryn chose to use a couple maternity gowns from my client wardrobe and they fit her beautifully. She truly looked like a mermaid standing on those black lava rocks. Liam was such a trooper too! He took directions perfect and had no problem loving on his pretty momma! It’s hard being a military family and having her husband deployed- but I am so happy she chose to book this session anyways. Going through all of the images, It’s SO incredibly hard to choose a favorite from this session!!!!! They all are truly beautiful and Taryn is one glowing preggo!!!
I hope you all love these images as much as I do! I can’t wait to capture their little man when he arrives! Not too long to go!
Danielle and i had went back and forth ALL day as we were watching the weather and it had been calling for storms! We decided to switch locations and continue with the session. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and go for it anyways because magical sessions like this happen! The storm passed by and the most amazing clouds came in for THE perfect sunset. And it’s actually one of my favorites I think I’ve ever captured! The colors in the sky, the water, location and this family were perfection. I truly am SO darn lucky to capture so any beautiful families every day! Being a Oahu Hawaii Family photographer has quickly become a favorite for me! Capturing real raw moments that will be cherished for a lifetime is my main goal!
