Hello everyone! Today’s Paper Wishes Thursday Vlog features Extra Large Cards using Card Builder Nested Circle and Nested Square Cutting Dies from Paper Discovery!

The largest of these dies require a die cutting machine with a large cutting platform. I used my Gemini from Crafter’s Companion because it has a 9″ wide platform.

This first 5″ square card uses 3 different sets of gorgeous flowers: Darjeeling Hydrangeas-Blue, Mixed Textured Blossoms-Amber and Garden Rosettes-Red. I love how the flowers mirror the colors on the paper!

I also used Circle and Happy Anniversary Cutting Dies along with Winter Wishes Sparkletz and Floral Musings Ribbon Set.

In addition to the paper and flowers used in the first card, this next one (which measures 4″ x 6 1/2″) features the Creative Expressions Skylar Cutting Die. I love the contrast of the yellow burlap flower with the elegance of the cutting die.

Hello crafty friends! Today I have some fun cutting dies from our friends at Paper Boutique that feature Steampunk with both mechanical and romantic themes. Intrigued?

Tip: To purchase any of the items featured today just click on the underlined links and you will be taken to the Paper Wishes product page.

This easel card features the You Make My World Turn Cutting Dies, map paper from Seaside Revised Paper Pack and specialty paper with a metallic look: Hammered Gold and Mocha Holographic Ripple papers.

I used foam tape under a strip of Mocha Holographic Ripple Paper with die cut gears to prop up the card front.

This card features the Love & Romance Cutting Dies which I paired with Denim Boutique Paper Pack. I love the mix of Steampunk and romance!

After die cutting the second layer from pink/white paper I sponged black ink over the chains. Then I die cut keys and gears from black cardstock, which I then glued over the pink/white images.

For the pink flowers I simply rubbed a little pink ink under each flower before gluing the die cut down.

Hello crafty friends! Today I’m happy to bring you cute cards using Simply Made Crafts Cutting Dies from our friends at Practical Publishing.

Tip: To purchase any of the items featured today just click on the underlined links and you will be taken to the Paper Wishes product page.

Debbie made this beautiful envelope with an intricate flap. She used the Large Envelope Die Set, Country Chic Paper Pack and Black Tiny Words & Phrases Dazzles Stickers.

I love how the flowers act as a closure.

Once the flaps are open, a lovely decorated card (measuring 4 3/8″x 6 1/4″) is revealed inside. The On Your Special Day Cutting Die from Creative Expressions was just the right touch.

In our family we have a tradition that the hostess of a bridal or baby shower hands out blank envelopes to the guests. The guests address the envelope to save the honoree time when preparing to send out her Thank You notes. I have always appreciated this practice (having benefited from it twice) and I think these lovely little notes would be just right.

The Simply Made Crafts Small Envelope Die Set makes perfect little cards (measuring 3″x4″) . To make the flowers I painted white cardstock with both Golden Flamingo and Blushed Peach Cosmic Shimmer Opal Polish and then die cut them.

The gold embossed Thank You! Stamp added a sparkly touch.

This petite little card (measuring 3″x4″) and envelope is made using the Medium Size Envelope Die Set. Debbie used Joy Ride Paper Pack, Happy Birthday Dazzles Stickers and Pink Jewel Dazzles Stickers.

Hello crafty friends! Have you ever struggled to find just the right words for a special friend or birthday celebration? Well struggle no more!

Tip: To purchase any of the items featured today just click on the underlined links and you will be taken to the Paper Wishes product page.

The Card Making Magic Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set is loaded with charming Birthday sentiments that can be mixed and matched.

I paired one of these sentiments with Double Stitched Oval Cutting Dies, Squares & Crosses Border Cutting Dies and Country Chic Paper Pack.

A Brown Ribbon bow and sweet Sea Breeze Garden Seeds Flowers add the finishing touches.

The Card Making Magic Heartfelt Sentiments Stamp Set is full of lovely friendship greetings that are perfect in the best and worst of times.

Debbie used a sweet Friend sentiment and paired with it Midnight Jewels Paper Pack and Frames And Tags Collection Vanessa Cutting Dies.

After die cutting the beautiful frame from the blue/purple Midnight Jewels paper, Debbie die cut another frame from white cardstock, cut it into 1/4 pieces and glued a piece of each card corner. I love how she added Ocean Wave Sparkletz for a little glamour!

Hello crafty friends! Debbie and I have been working away and having fun using Cork Fabrics with our paper crafts. When working with cork it’s ALL ABOUT texture!

We have two NEW Cork Fabric designs that we are really excited about!

Tip: To purchase any of the items featured today just click on the underlined links and you will be taken to the Paper Wishes product page.

This one is called Colorful Flowers and it has gold foiling sparkles along with the texture of real cork.

And this one is called Rose Gold Foiling. It’s GORGEOUS!

Debbie made this darling purse card with the Happy Birthday Dazzles Sticker popping out from the bag.

She used the Pretty Little Purses Template to trace the shape onto the back of the cork. After cutting it out she used glue and paper clips to secure the purse folds until the glue dried. Then used the Mosaic Gems 3D Embossing Folder with kraft cardstock for even more texture on the card background.

For my Center Step Card I combined Burgundy Suede Paper with the Colorful Flowers Cork. The combination makes for a card that is both pretty to look at and fun to touch. I die-cut both textures using Retro Wave Frames and then added Shine Bright die-cut greeting from Rose Gold Foiling Cork.

TIP: I found it helpful to use the Precision Base Plate when die cutting the words from the cork because of the scroll font. The plate helped make a cleaner cut.

And finally, Debbie used the 3-D Flowers Template and Rose Gold Foiling Cork to make a lovely flower embellishment for the corner of a frame.
