Hello my beautiful people, welcome back!

It's Sunday which means is time to talk about God and how amazing He is! Today I want to share something a little bit different, I want to share with you the different options that you have to create your own journal for devotionals and bible study or just for the things you want to talk with God.

It's a easy but fun way to learn more about God, to connect more with Him, to know more about you and what's in your heart and mind. I don't know if you know or if I have mentioned it before, but I love journaling, sometimes I feel like I don't have time to do it, but I always try to do it. I have always have a journal for my prayers and the study of the bible and God. So I decided that it was time to do it.

The things you will need is a notebook it doesn't have to be an expensive journal, a normal notebook can do it. You will need a pen and finally you just need to open your heart and star writing everything down.

If you want to do a Devotional Journal, you can  make like a "template" so you know what to write because sometimes we get stuck and our minds block when we see a blank page because we have no idea what to write, so it's good to have some kind of template or prompts to guide you through. Here are some inspirations from pinterest (you guys know that I love pinterest):

For Bible journaling, nowadays there are bibles where you can draw, write and paint in it, because they're made for that, but if you already have your bible and you don't want to journaling in it, because you're like me and want a lot of space and keep things organize you can get a notebook or journal (in my case is a regular notebook but the paper is good quality which means that I can paint in it, without creating the bubbles or damaging the paper. This is an example of the bible journaling that are "popular" now:

Anyhow guys, right know I have two notebooks one for bible study journaling and the other for devotionals/talking with God journal. Additional to that I also have a thoughts/mind journal where I write how I feel in general, where I write my poems (or at least the the poem attempt hehe). I'm trying to do them with an artistic form or style, since I'm trying to be more creative.

I really encourage you guys to start your own journal, its a good way to know more about you and God and see how your life change based on your decisions and how much you let God be in your life. It's a log of your life, where you can look back and see how much you have growth physically, mentally and spiritually. You won't regret it!

Love you guys!!!
Happy Sunday!

Hello my beautiful people, welcome back!

I know every morning we fight with our closet looking what to wear. Today I want to share with you different outfits that you can use to work. I decide to share with you the outfits that I wear this past week, I also bought some things in the thrift store and I can't wait to wear them. They're casual but at the same time makes you look professional.  The cardigans, button shirt and blazer are essential pieces that you must have in your closet to go to work and you can combine them with anything, specially with jeans. So the outfits that I'm going to be sharing are outfits specially with jeans.

Another essential piece that you must have in your closet are dressed pants, specially a black and beige or cream color.

Monday:

Monday was a rainy/cloudy day, so I decided to go with a more casual and comfort look. I loved this outfit since I love boots. The jeans are from Van Heusen|IZOD Golf, I love this store and the quality of the clothing. The black cardigan is from Marshalls or Burlington I really don't remember haha and the shirt I think is from Charlotte Russe.

Tuesday:

For this outfit I decided to go for a look more "professional". The outfit is from Van Heusen|IZOD Golf and the boots are from Marshalls, they're super comfy!

Wednesday:

For this outfit I went more casual but still "professional". The shirt is from Marshalls and the jeans are from Van Heusen|IZOD Golf  too! I love this outfit, I mean I love everything that I can wear converses and jeans haha

Thursday:

Like I said I love all the outfits with jeans and converse. This is a cute casual outfit perfect for the spring! It make you look "professional" in a casual cute way. You can use other type of shirt if you want.

Friday:

Before using ripped jeans, be sure that in your work space is allowed and that they don't show much. The idea is to look presentable and/or professional, not going to the movies or with friends to go for a walk.

Here are more outfits that I have wear to work:

We were dressed in the same colors to work.

I hope this outfits help you or inspire you to get ready in the mornings to work. Let me know in the comment section below your work outfits.

Happy weekend guys! Love you guys!

Hello my beautiful people, welcome back!!!

First of all, I want to apologize because I have been a little lost, but as I said on my monthly newsletter is because I started working a month ago and I have been busy and tired. Also, I'm still adjusting to my new routine and schedule, but I'm getting ready for the things that are coming, my short and long goals! I'm super excited and I can't wait to start venturing into new paths and new experiences and adventures.

Also, Happy Mother's Day! I know it was on Sunday, but you know what? You should celebrate your mom every day, no once a year! Show her your love every day at any time!

So what's new?

I'm working on my Summer Mag, and I hope that is ready between the last week of may/ first week of june and the first day of Summer (June 21st), so stay tuned. I'm going to start posting again, wednesday, fridays and Sundays. I'm working on new content and the continuation of how to create your own blog posts.

I'm still taking online classes with Skillshare , about art and photography. I decided to go out more and record by art and photography so I can be more creative. Since I'm working, I'm going to be doing more outfit/style post to be professional but trendy at the same time.

Also, today I got my online certificate in Natural History Illustration 101, I'm super excited. You can check it out if you want. The course is archived starting today but you can access it anytime, the only things is that you can't have the certificate, since it needs to be "active" to get it. But the course is pretty good for beginners.

I will be doing a post coming soon about editing photos and what apps and software I use. Also, I'm going to be sharing with you the different journals that I have and how you can start making your own. I want to do more landscape photography and night photography, like I said I'm taking some courses in skillshare to strengthen my skills.

About my fitness journey, I was on pause too, because I wasn't taking advantage of the time but now I'm scheduling to start working out again. I have lost some weight but I still have a long way to go to achieve my weight goal.

My husband and I are working on remodel our apartment, so I want to share our experience with all of you. Also, now that we can save more, we're planning on going on vacation to Germany!! YAY! Also, I'm going to start studying for the GRE and MCAT to continue with my master and PhD.

I have a lot of things that I want to do, and thank to God, my husband and my family everything is taking its rhythm. I'm so grateful, and one more time God prove me that his time is perfect and He have beautiful things planned for us!

Anyway guys, that is what's being going on in my life. Let me know how have you been? What's being going on in your life?

Love you guys! Have a nice day!

Déjame saber cómo has estado? ¿Qué está pasando en tu vida?

¡¡Los amo!! ¡¡Que tengan un hermoso día!

Hello my beautiful people, welcome back!

Today I'm going to talk about patience because is a topic that we always are struggling with. Being patient is not easy, because we always want to see result right away, but we have to learn that thing take time, sometimes is a short period of time but sometimes it take a long time. In my own experience I do struggle with being patient, even though I don't show it since I'm very reserved to myself and I don't like showing my weakness and flaws which I'm working on it because its ok to show and let others know that you're passing for a rough path in that moment. That doesn't make you less or weak that make you human, so yeah I'm working on that.

Especially, I was struggling with my patience when I was looking for a job, because I wanted to be more independently and I wanted to contribute more in household expenses. I get to the point where  I felt so disappointed and I was thinking on giving up the search and take the first job that appeared, but my husband said to me, that I have to be patient, that I worked hard to graduate and get my degree and that I didn't have to hurry things because we're good and we have everything we need to live well. That talk made me turn my sight to God again and be more patient by strengthening my relationship with Him and giving Him my doubts, worries and what I had in my heart.

"I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord. Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie! You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told. " Psalm 40:1-5

God used my husband as a tool to make me see that I have to be patient, that everything have its time, that I have to trust and believe in His word and promises. So that is what I was doing, I continue filling applications until one the companies call me and here I'm today with a job related to what I study that will help me be able to continue pursuing my professional goals by growing and learn new things. I'm so grateful that I was patient, that He used my husband to give comfort and that He was with me all the time.

Even when we have doubts of the purpose of God in our lives, when we can't listen to him, even when we aren't patient enough we have to trust in his mercy and his word, like the Psalm 13 says:

"How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,” lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me."

I was listening a podcast the other day and  the person talking said that is not that He don't talk to us, is that we aren't listening as we are supposed to, because we have too much distractions or noises around us that interfere and doesn't let us hear him. That is totally true, when we think that He is not responding to our questions and prayers, isn't because He is not answering us, is because we aren't listening as we're supposed to. We have to prepare the place where we're going to be with Him and we have to open our minds and our heart to be able to listen to Him, because He talk to us in ways that we never imagined. So when you hear silence, ask yourself if you're open your mind and your heart to let Him talk to you.

"Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit our way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!" Psalm 37:3-7

This is a bible verse that you can look out for affirmation and strength. There is a lot more verses that can help you be patient in God, that can make you strengthen your faith and trust in his word, plans and promises. You just have to look for them and let them talk to you. Remember to be patient, at the end it's worth it the reward.

Happy Sunday guys!
Love you and God bless you!

¡Feliz domingo chicos!
¡Los amo y Dios los bendiga!

Like I said on my post : Creating your own blog-Basic Knowledge, this step is important because you have to choose the best platform that suits your goals. They're a lot of platforms some with monthly payments and some are free. The most use platforms are:

This platform was bought it from Google in 2003 and the blogs are hosted by Google and generally accessed from a subdomain of blogspot.com. That is what appear in your URL when you start. You can let it that way or you can buy your domain and add it to blogger to make it look more professional and personal. I personally use blogger.com, but I have an account in every one of the options I mention since they all offer different things I wanted to know how work they platforms. Hello guys welcome back!

First of all I didn't post Friday because I was in an activity with my husband and when we came back I fall asleep since I was so drain for being socializing. Yeah, I get drain and tired everytime I go out and have to socialize and talk. This is not something I do because i want, it just happen. So I decided to talk about that today. How being introvert affect or influence with being Christian, so I'm going to be sharing with you how I'm working on it and how God is helping me getting out of my comfort zone and guiding me in this process.

What is an introvert person? "Introvert comes from Latin intro-, "inward," and vertere, "turning." An introvert person tends to turn inward mentally and sometimes avoid large groups of people, feeling more energized by time alone." I don't if you know but I'm a introvert person, and this have its ups and downs. You have to know that not all the introvert people are shy or have social anxiety (in my case I'm very shy and I don't think I have social anxiety but who knows),  sometimes they're just quiet and more reserved. We like to go outside, we like to have fun, we like to be around people. It's just like I said we're more reserved, we need to recharge and we enjoy our time with ourselves. In addition, when we're having time for ourselves or just in a normal day we love staying at home and chill or do our hobbies and that doesn't mean that we're afraid to go outside or we're depressed or we're weird, well, I'm kind of weird in a good way haha but you know what I mean.

One of the downs is when it comes to socialize, I like it, but at the same time is so mind consuming especially here since I have to translate everything I want to say and it takes me more time and effort. We know that when we choose to open our hearts to God and let him in, we have tasks or works to complete, among them are share his word, talk about him, about his love, his promises with others.

So, how I'm working on this and how it have affected me? Well, since its hard for me to talk with others and socialize in a lot of situations, I have lost opportunities to share the amazing things He has done for me. Which is something I'm currently working on. The things I'm doing are:

1. I'm starting with small steps like going to more activities, and talk even when I'm locked and my mind is completely blank, so that way the thoughts start to appear and I can say what I want.

2. Practicing in front of the mirror

3. I'm using the different platforms and social medias like Youtube, Patreon, and Instagram to do more videos talking and expressing what I feel and what He wants me to say.

4. But most important I'm reading more his word and let him guide me and speak to me. Especially this bible verses that encourage me to get out of my comfort zone:

~ "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" 2 Timothy 1:7

~ "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." Psalm 27:14

~ "So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me." Hebrews 13:6

~ "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15

Being introvert is not an excuse to don't share his word and love, on the contrary it should be a strength and a way to let others know that if you want to you can do it. You have to look for ways to use it to advantage for you. Especially since as a introvert person we love our alone time to recharge we can use this time to talk with God, to let him know how are we feeling, and let Him talk to us, recharge us, make us rest in his arms.

Know that God created us, that He made us the way we're and if we're like this is because He have a purpose, he have a plan and this is part of it. So, if you're introvert don't let the fear or the shyness stop you from fulfill your purpose. You can get out of your comfort zone if you want and let me tell you you won't regret it, because at the end it help you grow and open doors that you never imagined. Embrace yourself, you're unique and special and this isn't just  for the introvert person this is for everyone of you out there.

YOU'RE SPECIAL and GOD LOVES YOU FOR WHO YOU'RE!!!!

Happy Sunday!
Love you guys!

¡Feliz domingo!
¡Los amo!

Hello my beautiful people, welcome back!

Today I'm going to be talking about how you can channel your energy so you can keep motivated especially those days were get out of bed is so tedious. We're always under so much pressure with million things to do that at some point we don't motivation or sufficient energy to do them.

I have been doing this exercises for a long time and they have been helping me channel my inner energy, my motivation and that's what I want to share with all you. They're super simple, but very effective.

First of all I start my making some coffee or tea and enjoy the morning while I'm drinking  it looking outside  or in the balcony if it's not to cold. I do this with time  and without pressure because if I don't do it that way my day start bad and everything goes wrong from there.

My second step of channeling my inner energy is writing down why I'm thankful for and I can do it while I'm drinking my coffee or after. I also take this time to talk to him and do my daily devotionals. When I'm finish writing these I also start planning my day to keep everything organized. But I tried to not to think too much of it or following exactly as it is because that give me a little stress.

Finally, I do some exercises and end them with some yoga moves to relax my body and mind and found my inner peace and be ready to start my day. The exercises help me release stress and start my day with energy which keep me motivated during the day.

They're super simple, but like I said they're very effective because it allowed me to get in connection with myself and recharge my energy to do all my things. Also, don't forget to sleep the hours you need to wake up rest and ready for channel your inner energy every morning!

I hope this is helpful for all of you!
Love you guys!

Hello my beautiful people, welcome back!

It's good to be back, this year is a year to organize my priorities and one of my goals is to be more close to God and make our relationship more strong. That's why I decide to create my own devotional journal that include a bible challenge per week. How that work? I chose randomly bible verses to make it (without reading them) so that way I could start it fresh.  Anyway I want to share with you what I though and learned from the bible verses of this two weeks.

The verses for this two weeks were Isaiah 26:1-13 and Psalm 20:1-9 and they says like this:

"In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “We have a strong city; he sets up salvation as walls and bulwarks. Open the gates, that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in. You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. For he has humbled the inhabitants of the height, the lofty city. He lays it low, lays it low to the ground, casts it to the dust. The foot tramples it, the feet of the poor, the steps of the needy.” The path of the righteous is level; you make level the way of the righteous. In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul. My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. If favor is shown to the wicked, he does not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he deals corruptly and does not see the majesty of the Lord. O Lord, your hand is lifted up, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people, and be ashamed. Let the fire for your adversaries consume them. O Lord, you will ordain peace for us, for you have indeed done for us all our works. O Lord our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us, but your name alone we bring to remembrance." Isaiah 26: 1-13

"May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! May he send you help from the sanctuary and give you support from Zion! May he remember all your offerings and regard with favor your burnt sacrifices! Selah May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans! May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions! Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright. O Lord, save the king! May he answer us when we call." Psalm 20:1-9

What I learned and got from this verses? To be honest I already knew this, this verses just reaffirm what I knew and what was that? God is always with us even when we don't see him and the world's affliction cloud our sight because he is the food of our soul with all the memories and love that he gives us. When we go looking for him he is always there for you; even when we fall and falter even so we get up, we stand and we are ready to continue fighting because we have God in our lives, heart and soul. His protective hand is always present, ask him and he will give you according to your heart and fulfill your dreams and wishes but remember that everything in his time because everything has a purpose in this life.

He always talk to us in all type of forms and ways and the bible is one of them. Every time you feel distressed or lost, look for his word, look at the little things and you will see that he is in all of them, he will find a way to talk to you and listen to you always. Like his word says ask and he will respond.

I hope you have a beautiful day and God blessed you.
Love you all my beautiful!
