When you finally manage to sit down to work on your deadline removing all the distractions and interruptions, you might discover with surprise that there is something else that stands between you and your work… Something that slows you down or even paralyses you.

These are your negative thoughts about your deadline: I don’t know enough, I don’t have enough time, I should have done it earlier, It is not going to be good enough, My supervisor won’t like it etc etc.

In this video I talk to you about what it takes to focus on your project and give you a strategy to start moving forward towards your goal.

I’ve recorded this video from Portugal from the amazing cliffs by the sea, that we are visiting at the moment. Although I’ve been travelling now for 1.5 months through Europe in a motorhome with my three children, I also continued to have calls with my group and private coaching clients. Lack of focus and distractions was one of the recent topics in our conversations. I just wanted to say that you are not alone in your struggles and hope that you find this strategy helpful!!

In this video, I share with you a travelling analogy to help you regain clarity and motivation and to start working towards your goal with a renewed enthusiasm!!

This video is inspired by my travels: I have been now travelling for 5 weeks in a motorhome through Europe with my three children. But! I have been sharing this strategy with my private and group coaching clients for years, and it has been helping them tremendously. I hope it serve you too!!

With the end of the year in sight, we tend to pile up more and more work on our plate “to be completed by the end of the year”.

In additional to the deadlines that would have been there anyway we also promise ourselves and others to complete things “by the end of December”. This makes us feel overwhelmed, stressed, and also causes exhaustion and sometimes burn-out.
