With the start of the New Year, health and fitness are on my mind. I love thinking of my goals ahead of time and focusing on them as the start of the New Year hits. Many of my goals are a continuation of what I have already been doing and some of them are newer goals to help me stay healthy or get healthier.
Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken is loaded with flavor, tender chicken, carrots, chickpeas, pears, Moroccan spices and more for the perfect cozy meal! Serve over brown rice, cauliflower rice or quinoa. When my husband cooks, he often chooses more basic recipes but one day a few years ago, he was reading a magazine that had a recipe for Moroccan Chicken and he tore it out and wanted to make it the next weekend. I couldn't believe it as fruit isn't his favorite and it had at least a couple of varieties of fruit in it. Plus, it was a dish with all different types of flavors and spices. What are you doing for New Year's Eve this year? Since we had kids, most years we have had a house party at our home with lots of delicious appetizers. Last year was especially one for the books!
