Neill Strain Floral Couture has now released the 2018 Summer Collection of bouquets and arrangements which can be ordered online, including some fabulous designs inspired by the V&A exhibition: "Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up" which will run at the Museum from June 16 until November 4, 2018. Neill tells us all about these stunning designs.
I have admired Frida Kahlo, as a woman and as an artist, for her courage and for her distinctive style and personality, since I discovered her work while on holiday in Mexico many years ago. I am really thrilled that her wardrobe and personal belongings will be exhibited in London this summer at the V&A to reveal the woman that influenced so much the life and work of the acclaimed artist Diego Rivera. Fifty years after her death, Frida will be honoured in the U.K. and internationally for the compelling life she had and for her own tremendous artistic talent.
Frida's distinguishing sense of fashion and her floral headdresses combined with the vivid colours of Mexico inspired me to create a new range of hand-tied bouquets and arrangements as part of our Summer Collection. Bright orange and fuscia pink, yellow and touches of lime green generate a tapestry of colour and texture, reminiscent of Frida's clothes and urban landscapes under the hot Mexican sun.
These designs are composed with our special Grass Heart Roses, Spray Roses, Cala Lilies, Cymbidium Orchids, Dianthus and more delightful summer blooms. So dramatically colourful and textured i hope you can imagine this pattern as a fabric for one of Frida's dresses!
One of the great joys of late spring and the beginning of summer is that along with the warmer weather come Peonies, to many the most beautiful flowers of the year. Here are our hand-tied bouquets forged with petal-packed, divinely fragrant Peonies. All available to be ordered online.
Our Summer Collection also includes full ranges of deluxe designs in pale pink, ocean blue, burnt orange and white, made daily by our team with the most exquisite summer blooms that are selected and picked especially for us at our specialised growers. These designs are available online and with same day deliveries throughout London.
The Summer Pink designs include a feminine mix of Hydrangea, Roses, Lisianthus and Cymbidium Orchids with Calla Lilies, Phalaenopsis, Delphinium and tropical flowers in the table arrangements. Our Summer Ocean Blue designs also comprise Hydrangeas, Roses and Lisianthus with Vanda Orchids, Agapanthus, Clematis with tall Delphiniums, Stocks and trailing Phalaenopsis in the table designs.
Our Summer Safari range boasts a variety of tropical flowers displayed with Roses, Cala Lillies and Cymbidium Orchids in an exotic style.
Neill is dedicated to sourcing the most beautiful, the most rare, the most extraordinary flowers for his Belgravia boutique and his concession at Harrods where his clientele are eager to see and learn about new, unusual or simply exquisite blooms. In this blog post he shares the fabulous experiences he enjoys while sourcing these flowers in Holland.
One of the many aspects of my job that I absolutely adore is my sourcing trips to Holland. And of the many I make during the year, the one in Spring time, when the bulb fields are in bloom and the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens are open, is my favourite of all. Which is why, in this blog post, I would like to share with you images of the incredible scenery and views I experience during my visits because they are so inspiring.
The best time to see the Daffodil, Hyacinth and Tulip bulb fields in bloom is in April. The bands of colour formed by these flowers is extraordinary…
The bulb fields are not far from the Keukenhof Gardens, and a visit to this estate is a must for any flower lover. Here are just a few images of the 7 million spring flowers created by 100 royal suppliers showcasing their very best bulbs in a landscaped garden which covers the 200 hectare estate. This year the gardens are open from 22nd March until the 13th May just in case you can plan a visit!
Inspired by so many stunning flowers and designs, I then visit some of the select group of growers who supply me with my amazing flowers in London. Dedicated to their artistry (and yes, growing flowers with their passion and expertise, often handed down from generation to generation, is for me such an admirable art form), these growers strive to produce the very finest flowers in the world, for their size, colour, variety, scent, extending seasonal availability or whatever it might be...
Obviously, there are many growers with whom I work and I don't have space in this blog post to share them all! But here are a few of the glasshouses and some of their spectacular flowers that I visit in the spring/late spring. The beauty of these blooms I find quite overwhelming and highly inspirational...
There are fabulous Vanda Orchids at Anco Pure Vanda in bloom all year round. The massive size of the glasshouse, the intense colour and the elegance of these flowers always impress me.
Also all year round, thousands of magnificent Phalaenopsis Orchids in many, many different colours grow profusely in this glasshouse making the site quite breathtaking.
These magnificent plants are trailing Cymbidiums at a specialised grower. Exquisitely elegant.
Whether you wish to decorate your house with lush spring flowers for Easter, or you're looking for a seasonal gift to offer on this occasion, Neill has created a range of bouquets and arrangements in glorious colours and textures that express the joy of spring. In this blog post, he introduces us to his designs and shares his inspirations.
Every year, Easter arrives in mid to late Spring following my visit to Holland, to the bulb fields and the magnificent Keukenhof gardens which are for me the most spectacular spring gardens in the world. No wonder that these sourcing visits are a deep inspiration for my Easter Collection of bouquets and arrangements that you can now order online or see in our Belgravia boutique and in our concession at Harrods.
Visiting the spectacular bulb fields in Holland while sourcing flowers for the Easter Collection
This year we have 5 ranges of designs that we recommend for Easter, in the tints and tones of the garden at this time of the year. Let me share with you the designs and the Dutch landscapes that inspired them.
Our Kensington Collection (above) was inspired by views of the Daffodils in the bulb fields and the flower beds of the Keukenhof Gardens.
Our Knightsbridge range of designs expresses the purple and blue tones of spring, mixed with a touch of yellow and white.
This combination of purple Anemones, Clematis and Orchids, pink Ranunculi and Roses, Tulips, Narcissi and other gorgeous blooms was inspired by the dynamic mix of colours in the Keukenhof flower beds.
Of course the traditional colour for floral designs at Easter is yellow. Hence, we have created the Motcomb range of bouquets and arrangements in different tints and tones of yellow, from pale lemon to dark gold...
Creating bespoke designs for special occasions is what Neill Strain Floral Couture is all about. In this blog post, Neill shares with us his fabulously feminine bouquets and arrangements fashioned with gorgeous spring blooms into stunning designs for women on these days of celebration.
The month of March is one of the busiest times in the year in the life of a florist. International Women's Day is the occasion for which more flowers are sold worldwide than in any other single day during the year. Even more than Valentine's Day. This may seem surprising in the U.K. since International Women's Day is not celebrated as widely here as in Russia, the U.S. and some European countries. Nevertheless, in Belgravia, where we have many foreign clients, March 8th will be an extremely busy day for us followed shortly afterwards by Mother's Day on Sunday, March 11th and Arab Mother's Day on March 21st, the first day of spring.
The theme for International Women's Day 2018 is "Time is Now" as activists are earnestly transforming women's lives with a global movement for women's rights, equality and justice. With this in mind, we created these beautiful "Chelsea" designs (above) in our 2018 Spring Collection. Created with glorious spring blooms including Mimosa, Lilac, Viburnum, Renunculi and Tulips alongside Roses and Skimmia, these bouquets and arrangements can be picked up or ordered at our Belgravia boutique and our concession at Harrods. They may also be purchased online. We deliver throughout central and greater London.
Our "Knightsbridge" range is another option for International Women's Day. Designed with a spectacular array of spring blooms in the tints and tones of the season, the range includes a hand-tied bouquet, Petite Couture arrangements, a low table arrangement and an impressively tall design with real "wow" factor. Different size options for all the designs are available.
Exceedingly feminine, these "Westminster" designs were created for both International Women's Day and Mother's Day. With Roses and Orchids blended with bright and fresh spring flowers, this range is truly exquisite. Again these bouquets and arrangements can be found at our boutique and at Harrods, or you can order them online.
Whether it be for International Women's Day or Mother's Day, there are some women who prefer to deviate from the traditional pink. Hence, we have created the above "Mayfair" range with a mix of tropical blooms, Roses, Calla Lilies and Orchids in a striking orange colour palette. This range has a contemporary look that is particularly appealing to the modern woman.
As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Neill Strain Floral Couture in Belgravia this year, our "Belgravia" range expresses all the elegance and chic of our wonderful neighbourhood. These designs, including Phalaenopsis, Cymbidium and Vanda Orchids together wth Roses, Renunculi, Dianthus and Lilac, in an enticing pink and purple colour scheme make the perfect gift for Mother's Day, from a small Petite Couture design to the impressive table arrangements or a simply gorgeous hand-tied bouquet.
Neill unveils the new Valentine's Collection of bouquets and arrangements for the special celebration of love in 2018. Stunning designs with unrivalled Red Naomi Roses and other seasonal flowers which can be ordered online or at the Belgravia boutique or Harrods concession with delivery throughout London.
Love is in the air and we're ready for Valentine's Day at Neill Strain Floral Couture with our Red Rose heart decorating the entrance into the Belgravia boutique and spheres upon spheres of pink Roses in the Food Halls of Harrods where we have our concession ! I'm very excited about the new designs we've created for the 2018 Valentine's Collection which are already available to order online and will soon also be on display at the Belgravia boutique and our Harrods concession.
The Neill Strain Floral Couture boutique dressed for Valentine's Day
The 2018 Valentine's Collection offers lots of gorgeous options for the perfect romantic gift; from a stunning single Red Naomi Rose to a bouquet of four dozen, from a Petite Couture arrangement to lavish mixed bouquets and, new this year, an intricate heart of red Roses, a real work of art...
Neill Strain Floral Couture XXL Valentine's bouquet comprises four dozen spectacular 80 cm Red Naomi Roses
Created with our unrivalled 80 cm Red Naomi Roses, the above bouquets are available with 6, 12, 18, 24 and 48 blooms, either in a hand-tied bouquet or in a very chic, tall glass vase, all beautifully presented in our luxurious packaging. Our Petite Couture arrangements, available in small, medium and large, include gorgeous blooms such as Roses, Renunculi, Gloriosa and Calla Lilies, surrounding 1, 2 or 3 exquisite Red Naomi Roses...
Petite Couture leads to Haute Couture... Our Haute Couture bouquet comprises a highly textured blend of seasonal blooms in tints and tones of crimson, cherry and pink, while our Pastel Rose bouquet flaunts three varieties of Avalanche Roses, White, Pearl and Sweet.
Stunning bouquets that offer an alternative to Red Roses for Valentine's Day by Neill Strain Floral Couture
New this year is the Red Rose Heart. Painstakingly hand-crafted by our team, the intricately wired heart frame is filled with 18 or 24 Red Naomi Roses, Skimmia and golden Wax flower. With the subtle scent of these enchanting Roses, what could be more romantic than to receive this gift of floral art.
I am often asked why my flowers in general, and particularly my red Roses at this time of the year, look so much more beautiful than all others. My not-so-well-kept secret is the relationship I have developed over the years with a select group of incredible growers in Holland. These growers are as happy to send their flowers to Harrods and our Belgravia boutique as fathers are proud to see their kids doing well at a top University! They select and pick for me the very, very best, the most perfect flowers they have. Those that have spent a little longer growing on the plant, where the heads are a little or even a lot bigger, the stems are taller and stronger, their general state is a paradigm of strength and beauty. Following conditioning, the flowers are sent straight to our Belgravia boutique or design studio, so no valuable vase life time is wasted at the auction or the market. Our flowers arrive within less than 24 hours of picking. This is also the case with our Valentine's Roses and the difference is dramatic.
Only extraordinarily high quality Red Naomi Roses are used at Neill Strain Floral Couture in the Valentine's Collection
Our selected grower for red Roses throughout the year is Porta Nova, Holland's largest and most respected grower whose families have been working in horticulture for 115 years and exclusively producing the new Red Naomi Rose variety since 2006. They strive to make the very best red Roses in the world and I believe they have achieved this.
Here are some images taken in one of their glasshouses during a recent visit.
Porta Nova has some of the best technology I have seen in Holland with the latest, most effective cooling and heating systems available. They have obtained maximum levels of light at their two glasshouses and this has a direct reflection on quality; they use green energy and are almost exclusively organic. Visiting their glasshouse is a unique experience; you can feel their profound dedication to quality at every stage of production, focused solely on the perfection of their flowers.
Red Naomi Roses, and above all those from Porta Nova, have the largest petal count of all red Roses on the market. The quintessence of romance, these blooms are incredibly long lasting, very strong with sturdy, long stems up to 90 cms tall for the Supra premium range which is what is selected and picked for us. Furthermore, they have a subtle, delicate fragrance which is rare to find in such a hearty Rose since most fragrances have been removed by breeders in favour of a longer vase life. The fullness, velvety texture and rich deep colour make these remarkable flowers my only choice for our red Rose Valentine's designs.
As a final note, take a look at the Petite Couture arrangements we have created exclusively for renowned perfumier and candle chandler, Roja Dove. Inspired by the intensely romantic fragrance and exquisite packaging of these perfumes, I fashioned these designs especially for the Profumi d'Amore collection as the ultimate Valentine's gift that expresses pure passion and love in both floral and fragrant form. On sale at Harrods and at their Burlington Arcade boutique.
With the arrival of the new year 2018, Neill Strain Floral Couture celebrates ten years of business in Belgravia since the opening of the first boutique in 2008. In this blog post Neill remembers the company's impressive achievements of 2017 including the opening of the Harrods concession while comemmorating its 10th year anniversary.
Neill Strain Floral Couture boutique on West Halkin Street in Belgravia
I have to admit that 2017 has been the most exceptional year for Neill Strain Floral Couture since we opened now 10 years ago in Belgravia, in 2008. Opening the concession at Harrods in July, and the success we have achieved there since virtually the first day, have exceeded my expectations. But in 2017 we enjoyed many highlights which I will share with you in chronological order...
For me and my team, the start of every new year comes with a focus on the preparations for Valentine's Day and the construction of our floral heart. Each year we change and develop the design and I was particularly pleased with our installation in 2017. Of course, we are now working on our 2018 design... something a little different maybe for our 10th year anniversary.
The floral heart installation at Neill Strain Floral Couture is one of London's most photographed venues for Valentine's Day.
It was for Valentine's Day 2017 that we launched for the first time our online ordering service. Throughout the year, we create seasonal designs to make up the Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter Collections which also include bouquets and arrangements especially for the important annual celebrations such as Christmas and Easter, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Halloween and Thanksgiving, to name a few.
While working on our Valentine's Day preparations, we also drew up and created equally romantic designs for our first Brides' Magazine Belgravia bridal show. On the 16th February, a select group of wedding suppliers with boutiques and businesses in Belgravia gathered at the Lanesborough Hotel to welcome future brides with a glamorous fashion show, champagne and canapes. Our fairytale table display, exquisite bridal bouquets and pure "wow" catwalk decor won the hearts of many brides and guests. The 2018 Belgravia bridal show, where we will again adorn the Lanesborough Hotel with our romantic designs, will take place on January 22nd. All brides are welcome and can book tickets here.
In springtime, when the Garden Squares of Belgravia are looking their most beautiful, we are always very busy at the boutique, with International Women's Day, Mother's Day, Easter and many other celebrations. At this time, inspirations, research and creativity were in full bloom for our Chelsea Flower Show preparations, and, in addition to all this, the extensive work for the opening at Harrods had also begun.

In conjunction with Chelsea Flower Show, every year we host a showcase of a single flower variety at our Belgravia boutique. 2017 was no exception and we created an extensive exhibition of rare, old and new Hydrangeas including cut stems and plants from our Dutch suppliers, renowned breeders, Kolster, and growers, Sonneveld. In March, I took some of my team to participate in the research and select the blooms for "Hello Hydrangea!" at both Kolster and Sonneveld. These visits are not only an extraordinary learning experience, but quite inspirational.

And visiting Sonneveld, Holland's largest and most admired cut Hydrangea grower.
Award-winning Belgravia in Bloom design for "Hello Hydrangea!" during the RHS Chelsea Flower Show at Neill Strain Floral Couture
Of course, part of the excitement of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is creating exterior installations. For many years, I have created show-stopping displays to celebrate London's most floral week, both for my own Belgravia boutique and for many neighbours. In 2016, the Grosvenor Estate launched the official "Belgravia in Bloom" competition, encouraging all our local businesses to decorate their store fronts for the occasion. This year, following Grosvenor's chosen theme of Children's Books, we designed 5 installations and were coveted with many awards: the overall "Best Floral Display" for our "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" themed design at the boutique, two "Highly Commended" awards and a Gold for The Jumeirah Carlton's jungle-themed "Chelsea in Bloom." Here are some of the displays...

The preparations for Christmas in Belgravia are in full bloom and the festive window decorations of our local businesses are a treat not to be missed. Neill walks us through the details of his Belgravia Christmas Window design for 2017.
The Neill Strain Floral Couture Belgravia Christmas Window Display on West Halkin Street
It is the fourth consecutive year that we have created a fairytale Christmas display at our Belgravia boutique on West Halkin Street. And the third consecutive year that the Grosvenor Estate hosts a competition for the Belgravia local businesses to show their creative talents through their windows. Following this effort to encourage the boutiques to be more and more festive, Belgravia has become one of London's most exciting shopping areas combining the boutique experience with fine dining, stunning architecture and impeccable service.
In the past years we have styled gold and copper, traditional and contemporary style window displays, but for 2017 I decided to go with the current surge of very traditional with lots of green foliage, berries, baubles and lovely faux flowers.
Luxury festive floral displays at the Neill Strain Floral Couture boutique in Belgravia
Faux flowers are in vogue this Christmas. We have been decorating glorious Christmas trees with a fabulous variety of faux flowers in reds, gold, silver and other festive colours. For our Belgravia Christmas Windows, I used faux Roses, Poinsettias, Orchids and berries, shaped into a three-tier sphere design incorporating baubles, sprayed foliage, pine cones and lotus heads. Surrounding the windows are lavish garlands of Spruce, twigs and berries and, inside the windows, two stunning, sparkling wreaths above tall lines of shimmering baubles.

And to complete the design, we have our wonderful Christmas reindeer welcoming clients into the boutique!
The twinkling lights, the reflections, the beauty of the garlands against the black frame of the boutique, make this design even more magical.
Inside the boutique, of course, we have a magnificent selection of wreaths, festive planters and floral arrangements both tall and small, candle arrangements and garlands along with an impressive display of luxury Christmas tree decorations. In fact, it's not too late to order your own fully installed Christmas tree if you would like us to create a bespoke tree for you. So do pop in to the boutique or our concession at Harrods for some inspiration.
And if you would like to vote for our Christmas window in the Grosvenor competition, do post your favourite on your instagram or twitter account with this hashtag: #belgraviachristmaswindows.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Luxury Christmas decor by Neill Strain Floral Couture London
From the Belgravia boutique and Harrods concession, Neill Strain Floral Couture offers a spectacular display of bespoke luxury Christmas designs and decorations. And now, to make Christmas preparations even easier, an online ordering service of magnificent door wreaths, festive floral arrangements and stunning planters dressed for the season with same day delivery throughout London, has been launched. In this blog post, Neill gives us a visual tour of these fabulously festive designs.
The run up to Christmas is such a busy time for all of us, organising the family or friends' visit, pre-ordering the turkey, planning the menus, searching for the perfect presents and of course decorating the house to transform one's home into a warm and welcoming festive paradise. With this in mind, to facilitate the decorating, we have launched for the first time an online ordering service for our clients to choose their Christmas door wreath and festive bouquets and floral arrangements comprising cut flower designs and planters lavishly dressed for the season.
Neill Strain Floral Couture luxury Christmas door wreath "Noel" can be ordered online
To give clients ample choice of styles and colour themes, we have designed 10 different luxury wreaths with varying options of ribbons and accessories. Colours range from traditional reds, frosty whites, chocolate browns and copper, to the new in vogue coral, plummy purples, peacock blue/turquoise and even a striking black and silver.

Neill Strain Floral Couture Super Deluxe Wreath "Snowflake"
Neill Strain Floral Couture Super Deluxe wreath "Wonderland"
For decorating your interiors, we have two ranges of designs, one in a traditional red and gold and the other in frosty whites. Each range includes a hand-tied bouquet, various low table arrangements (with candles), very tall arrangements designed to dress an entrance hall or drawing room with high ceilings and our Petite Couture arrangements which make a delightful gift.
The "Red Rejoice" range includes everything I love about a traditional Christmas: stunning red Naomi Roses, berries and pine, gold and red baubles, Vanda Orchids "Sunanda Retro Red," Calla Lilies and gold-sprayed fern.
This "White Christmas" range I think is quite spectacular. The tall Amaryllis design is an absolute show stopper reaching a height of one meter. The soft blend of Roses, white Vanda Orchids, Calla Lilies, silver baubles and silver-sprayed pine and foliage creates designs of great elegance yet truly festive.
What are the trends for luxury Christmas decor in London this year? As Christmas has now arrived at the Belgravia Neill Strain Floral Couture boutique, Neill reveals the new trends he has carefully sourced at home and abroad during the year to make this festive season quite spectacular.
Luxury Christmas decor styled by Neill Strain Floral Couture
2017 has been a fantastic year, a very busy one including the launch of our new concession at Harrods, and I find it hard to believe that Christmas is already upon us! I source my Christmas decorations and inspirations all through the year, in different European countries as well as at home, so when we finally put up the displays in our Belgravia boutique at the end of October/early November, it is a very exciting moment for us all.
Our clients are always eager to know what's new, what are the on trend colour palettes, new decorations, in vogue styles... They either come into the boutique to discuss how we should style their home for Christmas, or I go to their exquisite homes for a site visit. For all these clients, I would like to dedicate this blog post to you as a mood board for inspiration. Here are the new trends for a luxurious Christmas designed by Neill Strain Floral Couture for 2017.
A big focus this year will be on the traditional Christmas colours of red, gold and green. These classic hues are so warm, so welcoming, and look magnificent with rich, opulent designs created with layers of mixed foliage, luxury baubles and twigs with tartan or velvet ribbons. What's new however is to mix these customary decorations with flowers, fresh or faux, in reflection of the florals that have strongly featured in fashion throughout the year.
Faux Roses, Hellebores and berries adorn this Neill Strain Floral Couture Christmas Tree.
Sublimely elegant, the traditional red, gold and green Christmas decor.
Christmas Tree decorated with fresh Vanda Orchids, Hydrangea and Gerberas, and faux Phalaenopsis Orchids, Roses and berries.
Fresh Roses, Protea, berries and gold sprayed fern enrich the seasonal foliage and baubles in a garland.
Poinsettias are also popular on the Christmas tree.
The essence of a traditional Christmas in red, gold and green.
Another traditional favourite colour for Christmas is frosty or snowy white. Refined glass baubles, dainty ornaments, flawless faux flowers and berries enhance the luxurious look to this theme, with touches of gold or silver.
Exquisite glass "bonbons" make an elegant decoration on the Christmas Tree, garland or wreath.
Luxury white Poinsettias, sparkling and glistening.
Snowy white and frosty silver give an ethereal look to Christmas decor.
Gold and white decor, styled especially to match the clients' home interiors.
A tapestry of textures makes this design rich and opulent.
Another trend that will be popular this Christmas is a touch of organic. Mixing rustic looking plant material or feathers with elegant decorations, or using organic coloured baubles with ornate dark ribbons create a unique look that combines a country style with manor living.
Traditional Orange, Cinnamon Sticks and berries added to an opulent wreath create a "touch of organic" look
Dark tones and rich textures produce an organic yet delightfully luxurious look to Christmas decorations.
Peacock feathers add both eye-catching colour and texture to Christmas designs.
An eclectic mix of plant material along with festive baubles.
Natural and gold sprayed plant material enhanced with delicate hand-blown glass ornaments.
Gold, sparkle and ribbon generating an organic feel.
In addition to these three themes, we are introducing some fabulous new colours for the 2017 festive season. Coral and bronze, black and silver, purple and burgundy, which is perhaps one of my favourites.
We are also introducing, for the first time, the possibility to order our luxury Christmas wreaths and festive couture arrangements on our online ordering service. While we are currently offering our Autumn Collection on the website, with designs that will be perfect for your Thanksgiving celebrations, our Christmas Collection will go live on November 15th. With same day or next day delivery throughout London, we hope that this service will facilitate your Christmas shopping.
I hope these images will inspire you for developing your own theme for your Christmas decor. And please pop into the Belgravia boutique to see more of our breathtaking designs.

In Autumn, nature gives us an extraordinary display of beautiful colours and rich textures which Neill has captured in his new Autumn Collection 2017, available for ordering online with same day deliveries throughout central and greater London. In this blog post Neill tells us more about these stunning designs and the exquisite flowers they are composed of.
I adore the Autumn! I adore the seasonal colours in the gardens and I absolutely adore the flowers I selected this year from our devoted Dutch growers for our new Autumn Collection 2017. We have created a really stunning range of designs, all of which can be ordered online, at our Belgravia boutique or our Harrods concession. There are 5 new ranges, named after and inspired by some of the Squares and streets of Belgravia, and they each include hand-tied bouquets, both tall and low table arrangements and our popular Petite Couture arrangements.
And with Halloween and Thanksgiving rapidly approaching, we have made our "Pumpkin Couture" - what could be more seasonal and more delightful than a Gourd filled with gorgeous Autumn flowers.
Pumpkin Couture arrangements are available in small, medium and large.
In the most quintessentially Autumn colours is our Halkin range, named after West Halkin Street where our Belgravia boutique is located, a few doors away from the famous Mosimann's club. In deep shades of orange, coral, apricot and red we have a fabulous display of Roses, tropical Protea, Dianthus, Anthurium, seasonal berries, grasses and foliage topped with the exotic blooms of Phalaenopsis Orchids. In the tall arrangement, we added long stems of Calla Lilies, Anigozanthus ("Kangaroo Paw") and trailing stems of Phalaenopsis with a choice of containers, either salmon pink or orange.
Behind our Belgravia boutique is Motcomb Street, renowned for its elegant Georgian architecture, luxury boutiques and eating places, and recently re-opened as a pedestrian haven after extensive refurbishments by the Grosvenor Estate. Our Motcomb range expresses the golden tints and tones of Autumn with Roses, Calla Lilies, Gerbera and green Hydrangea, amber hues of Anigozanthus ("Kangaroo Paw") and foliage, enriched with the exotic blooms of Gloriosa and Phalaenopsis Orchids. As elegant and luxurious as Motcomb Street itself.
There are many shades to Autumn and one of my favourites is the pinky red tones found in some of the seasonal berries, fruits and foliages. The leafy Garden Square of the residential Lowndes Square, located at the foot of Motcomb Street just behind our Belgravia boutique, inspired me to create an exquisitely sophisticated range to bear its name. A new, not-yet-named red and pink Rose from our specialised grower, spray Roses, Gerbera, Dianthus and Hydrangea make the base of this range, with grasses, foliage and the flame-like blooms of Gloriosa Rothschildiana. The tall and low table arrangements can be ordered with either a green or blue container.
