The Crossover Show - 158

In this episode, MC and HM answer a listener question about advice regarding how to prepare for a rookie’s first phase of training.

The guys wax philosophic about how many ears one has versus how many mouths. You should be able to figure out the rest of their advice.

In other news…

Friends, what you are going to listen to is the last episode of The Crossover Show. Man, if you can find that first cringe-worthy episode, good on ya! We’ve come a long way. We hope you’ve enjoyed our shenanigans, be they vulgar and inappropriate or heart-felt and sincere.

Not to worry, though! A NEW show is in the works. We considered re-branding #TCS, but decided a brand new direction was in order. Thus, you’ll find our new show (eventually…URL is purchased, but the site doesn’t exist yet) at:

What’s Your Emergency WYERadio.com

You’ll be hearing more about the show, format, cover art, guests, etc. in the near future. Until then, however, please accept HM and MC’s deepest thanks for your years of support.

We will be back and we are going to bring you even better content!

Cheers…

MC & HM

The Crossover Show -158

In this episode, MC and HM welcome back Dr. John Jaquish from X3Bar.com.  MC finished out his 12-week program using the Doc’s amazing product, the X3.

The guys and the doc talk about new directions X3 is headed as well as the most undervalued part of physical training: Nutrition. (Would you believe the doc only eats one freaking meal a day?!)

Oh…and the doc has agreed to give away an X3 bar!!! That’s right! You can win your very own X3 and start making huge leaps in your physical fitness. Click the link above to enter!

In addition, MC and HM make a huge announcement about the future of The Crossover Show…that is to say, it’s done.

*Cue shocking music

Not to worry, friends, they’ll be back with a brand new show in a few weeks. New name. New art. New guests. New format.

We’re only moving up from here!

The Crossover Show - 157

In this episode, we finally learn what HM has been bursting at the seams to share:

He quit his job. He got a shiny new one.
Way back in episode 24, the boys first discussed when is the right time to balance way of life and salary. Finally, in this episode, we learn what happens when you put everything on the table and make what could be the best, or worst, decision you ever make.
HM is flying off to a new airport (see what we did there?!) and hanging up his black helmet for a white one.
It’s a promotion of sorts and we hear some of the things that sent him in this new direction.
Oh and the gif HM mentions?
Natalie Dormer is HM’s spirit animal. How did Natalie Dormer make it into a Fire EMS Police podcast? Why did it take this long?

The Crossover Show - 155

In this episode, HM and MC discuss (amongst other things…’tis The Crossover Show, after all) a listener question about trauma kits, liability, and where the guys land on the topic.

Special thanks to Jessie Polk for the inspiration…and to the creative minds behind Bill and Ted. That last part will make sense after you listen to the show.
