SODDY-DAISY, Tenn. (AP) - A Tennessee high school official posted online a video banning athletic shorts, saying "blame the girls, because they pretty much ruin everything."

The Knoxville News Sentinel reports the athletic director and assistant principal of Soddy-Daisy High School, Jared Hensley, posted the video addressed to students online Wednesday morning.

OGLETOWN, Del. (AP) - Police say they've identified two suspects in a school shooting threat at a Delaware middle school in Ogletown.

Master Cpl. Michael Austin of Delaware State Police tells The News Journal of Wilmington that the Instagram post references someone bringing a gun to "shoot the school" Wednesday.

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Border Patrol agents say a convicted sex offender deported from California has been caught in Arizona.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials say 30-year-old Cesar Vargas-Ordaz, a Mexican national, was arrested Tuesday near Ajo.

Agents processing Vargas-Ordaz learned he was convicted in 2015 of sex with a minor under the age of 16 in Santa Clara, California.

CHICAGO (AP) - Police say two teenagers were shot to death three blocks from Chicago police headquarters after an argument outside a South Side alternative high school led to gunfire.

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said Wednesday the argument began outside Youth Connection Charter School.
