Whenever Rimmel launch a new foundation, providing it doesn’t have ‘matte’ within the name, I buy it. Rimmel are my favourite drugstore brand when it comes to foundation and I’ve featured many of them on my blog over the last six years. Finding decent super pale foundation shades within the drugstore can be a right […]

I did a massive ColourPop haul at the beginning of the year, and I’m working way through writing the reviews of everything I bought. I bought a number of their eyeshadow palettes as they’re incredible and the ColourPop Give It To Me Straight Eyeshadow Palette had been on my wishlist for such a long time, […]

Spring is always a great time for beauty launches especially in the world of skincare and fragrance. Elemis is one of those brands that everyone raves about, but I’ve only ever tried a small selection of their products. In time for Spring, Elemis have launched quite a few new skincare launches, especially in their Superfood […]

Did you know that Dirty Works had a cosmetics range?! I know I didn’t so I’m guessing it’s perhaps a new addition to their product range as I’ve only ever seen and tried their bath and body products until now. If you’re new to the Dirty Works brand, they’re a kitsch British beauty brand which […]

I tried Morgan Taylor for the first time last year with their Royal Temptations collection, and I was so impressed with the formula that I bought the Morgan Taylor Tiny Taggers set. I never see much hype about the Morgan Taylor polishes, which I feel is crazy as they’re such an underrated nail polish brand […]

I can’t quite believe it’s Easter next weekend. I know it’s such a cliché for bloggers to comment on how quick time is going, but this year has flown by insanely quickly and it’s crazy to me that Summer is only a few months away. I’m not religious but I do love Easter treats and […]

Makeup organisation is an obsession of mine which I know sounds really weird, but I just love organising my makeup and beauty collections. I featured one of the Beautify Makeup Cases here on my blog nearly four years ago and I now have one of their new offerings to show you. Beautify have so many […]

When I saw a sneak peek of the contents of the Look Incredible April Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 edit, I was instantly excited and I couldn’t wait to feature the box on my blog. Last month’s box wasn’t my favourite box Look Incredible have ever done, but it’s so hard to please everyone with every box and it wasn’t as if it was disappointing in anyway. This month however they’ve totally wowed me with the range of products, brands and the value is incredible. If you’re new to Look Incredible, they have three different subscription boxes; the Standard Box, the Deluxe Box (which is this one) and the Secret Box, all of which feature higher end full sized products which is why they’re my favourite beauty box brand. One of the reasons I stopped receiving Glossybox, Birchbox and LookFantastic boxes as PR was the repeated brands, products and sample sizes. I found that they’d often include samples which you could get for free and it was boring to receive face masks and dry shampoo practically every month. That’s not the case with Look Incredible at all, they always include a great selection of products and brands, and because it’s all full sized products, you’re getting a lot of value for money. I remember when Glossybox first started, the box contents used to be worth sometimes more than five times the subscription fee but now they usually give you £15-£20 value which isn’t the wow factor I want personally, when subscribing to a beauty subscription service. The one question I’m asked the most is a recommendation for a beauty box, and without a doubt it’s Look Incredible and just for the record, none of my subscription box posts are ever sponsored. Let’s get onto the contents of the Look Incredible April Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 edit.. Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette worth £33 I can’t believe that the first product this month is a palette which is almost worth the cost of the box alone. This Stila Eyeshadow Palette contains twelve powder shadows in a range of beautiful neutrals, with shimmer, matte and glitter shades. The shades all look so pretty and the packaging is so sleek, with a matte gold finish and a magnetised lid. There are a number of different palettes within the Eyes are the Window series, and we got the ‘Soul’ palette which is quite cool in tone overall, and I cannot wait to try the shadows as the shades are definitely my kind of shades. Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy Juicy Color Plumping Lip Gloss worth £19 Whenever I see Too Faced or Tarte within the Look Incredible boxes, I’m very happy so I love that this month we have a Too Faced lip product. This is their moisture rich lip gloss infused with their bestselling Lip Injection formula designed to offer instant lip plumping results that last upto 4 hours with a hint of juicy colour. The shades will differ from box to box, and I have the shade Spice Girl which is the perfect peachy nude and as I already really like the original Lip Injection formula, I know I’ll love this tinted version especially as it contains avocado and jojoba oils to smooth and soften the lips. Eve Lom Flawless Primer SPF30 worth £38 The next item within the Look Incredible April Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 is this face primer from Eve Lom. Eve Lom are a super luxe skincare brand and this product alone is worth more than the box, without even counting the other three products. This primer is described as having a creamy, hydrating formula that blends effortlessly to create a lit-from-within look. It is enriched with Vitamin E and Sodium Hyaluronate, to penetrate deep into skin to deliver intense moisture, restoring suppleness and elasticity whilst nourishing, firming and enhancing luminosity. You don’t see a lot of primers containing an SPF so it’s fab that this primer protects the skin against harmful UVA and UVB rays whilst also prepping the skin for makeup. Dr Botanicals Hemp Infused Natural Nutrition Moisturiser worth £24 I’ve tried a couple of Dr Botanicals products but I haven’t tried anything since they rebranded their packaging. This moisturiser contains hemp seed oil and cocoa butter to protect, nourish and hydrate the skin for a smooth looking complexion. It sounds like a really love moisturiser and I like that it’s vegan, cruelty free and 100% natural too. I really like how bold and simplistic their new branding is, and their Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil is featured in beauty boxes quite often, but it’s good to see something new from the Dr Botanicals brand. I’d love to know which product is your favourite from the Look Incredible April Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 edit?

Spring and Summer are always the best months for nail polish collections in my opinion. I am such a massive fan of pastels and brights when it comes to my nails and I always look forward to seeing which shades OPI have within their collections. Something I feel that makes OPI unique is how much thought they put into their nail polish collections. They don’t do the whole loose theme that many brands do. OPI always create really clever shade names which often reflect the shade inside the bottle, and their new Spring collection has some of the best shade names I’ve ever seen in a polish collection. The OPI Tokyo Nail Polish Collection consists of twelve stunning shades in their original Nail Lacquer formula for £13.50 each, as well as their Infinite Shine formula for £14.50 each, too. Japan has always been on my list of destinations on my travel bucket list, so I love that the twelve shades chosen for the collection were all inspired by the city of Tokyo.. “A city at the forefront of fashion, beauty and nail art. Tokyo’s unique balance of rich tradition and nature inspired a variety of nail colors that evoke the eclectic fashion, vibrant nightlife and world-renowned cuisine. Join us on Another Ramen-tic Evening in our favorite foodie spots, then stop off at Fuji-san before finding All Your Dreams In Vending Machines. From a new take on millenial pink to matcha green shades, your nail color will be ahead of every trend this season. #OPITokyo.” All of my OPI Tokyo Nail Polish Collection swatches are two generous coats with one coat of top coat so you get a good representation of the coverage and finish. Kanpai OPI – Periwinkle Blue and Grey team up to make your day in this nail polish. Cheers! This is a super pretty pastel periwinkle blue with a creme finish. It does dry down to a slightly deeper shade than what’s in the bottle but the formula is amazing for a pastel creme, with two generous coats being enough for a streak free finish. Tempura-ture is Rising! – Get out of the heat and into a salon to experience this cool new orange nail polish! This is such a bright and vibrant shade, that is perfect for the transition from spring to summer. It’s the boldest orange toned reds, and almost looks neon on the nails which will look fab on the toes with sandals this summer. I did two thin coats here, but on my nails I got away with just one generous coat as my nails are short and it didn’t stain my nails either which is rare for orange based shades like this. How Does Your Zen Garden Grow? – Now and then you gotta go Zen with this luscious lime green nail polish. I know this shade won’t be for everyone as it’s a pastel lime creme, bordering on being a pastel chartreuse. It’s a little streaky due to the white base, but three thin coats gave an opaque finish. I think this shade would be ideal for any spring based nail art designs. All Your Dreams in Vending Machines – An electric pink nail polish that delivers instant glamification. This is such a pretty, multi-dimensional shade with a lilac shift which intensifies the more coats you apply and I imagine it would look amazing layered over a black, or dark polish. Due to the shimmer finish, brush strokes were visible with two coats on the nails, so I added a third coat with top coat and you couldn’t see any brush strokes and it looked fully opaque. Arigato from Tokyo – ありがと THANK YOU from the bottom of our OPI hearts for loving this pink nail polish. This is the perfect pinky lilac creme, and it’s almost fully opaque in one single coat. It’s such a pretty spring-like shade, and I know this is a shade I’m going to get a lot of use of as it is so pretty. Rice Rice Baby – Be a Nice Nice Baby and experience this mauve-lous shade of nail polish. Rice Rice Baby is a like a more muted, pastel version of Arigato From Tokyo with a little less pink. It’s such a beautiful, wearable shade and it gave me full opacity in one coat. Chopstix and Stones – …may break my bones but this deep blue nail polish shade will never hurt me! This is my standout shade in the whole collection, my photos do not do it justice but it’s incredible. It’s an intense navy with brighter blue shimmer which sparkles under electric light. I think this is more of an autumn/winter shade but I don’t care as it’s amazing, and I can’t stop looking at my nails when wearing this shade. It took just two coats, and was very easy to apply with no brush strokes. I’m On a Sushi Roll – Your manicure is hungry for this green nail polish color. This is a bright teal creme which has a slightly thicker formula so you could get away with one coat if you’re careful with application, but my swatch looks streaky and I promise it doesn’t look streaky on the nails. Suzi-San Climbs Fuji-San – Mt. Fuji is calling, so fill your backpack with this new essential emerald nail polish. This shade looks very similar to I’m On a Sushi Roll, except this has a little more blue. If you like teals and greens, I really think you’d like this shade as the formula is great. Samurai Breaks a Nail – OPI to the rescue! A cutting-edge purple nail polish to leave your nails looking sharp. This is my second favourite shade as it’s the most beautiful purple jelly, with a blue iridescent shift which looks amazing the more shades you apply. On my nails I did four thin coats, and the shimmer looked so striking against the purple. It has a thinner formula, but it layers well and dries […]

I have featured quite a few budget brands which are available from AliExpress on my blog such as Heng Fang Focallure and iMagic. There are a lot of fake makeup products on AliExpress and eBay but I always stick to registered brands which aren’t marketing their products as reputable products as I’m not interested in trying fake makeup as it’s too risky. I’ve had a really…
