This wedding was SO FUN! From beginning to end! First let me tell you about these wild confetti poppers the bride was inspired to get an amazing shot with while she was getting ready at the Riverside Hotel in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Since this was (all of our) first times ever doing anything with confetti poppers, we quickly learned that the tiny confetti pieces are perfect for getting into everyone’s beautifully professionally perfected hair… whoops! The bride had such an amazing attitude about it and even though it was a total mess everywhere and a 20 minute hair re-do, she just enjoyed the moment and chowed down on some pizza before stepping into her dress. I just loved it!
We (like always!) made sure we scheduled some time with the bride and her parents for some beautifully priceless moments, including a first look with dad and a little gift to keep forever from his daughter.
Moving along to the rest of the wedding day it was just fun, fun, fun! Right next door was the Stranahan House Museum which hosted a beautiful ceremony and a stunning tent setup right on the riverwalk! Boats and water taxis passing by galore! It was such a unique mix of that old and new Fort Lauderdale feel and a perfect place to host an extremely fun wedding. All of the vendors (and huge props to the DJ: Eddie B and Company!) for making everyone go WILD on that light-up dance floor! Enjoy!
I LOVED this wedding! (okay I say that about every wedding, right?). Well, one of the most exciting things for me at this wedding is that it was our first St. Augustine wedding! It was my first time in St. Augustine EVER! The days surrounding this special event included a Garba (a dance from India and was the rehearsal dinner) and my own family’s little personal vacation. We took the whole day after the wedding to explore the entire downtown historic St. Augustine area and it was just such an awesome experience. Okay so enough about our trip… more about the wedding! Jennifer and Mitesh’s wedding was at The White Room in the Historic St. Augustine area and this location is beyond gorgeous! Just take a look at the bride and groom’s room while they get ready! Isn’t it silly that I was just excited about those rooms? The interior designer in me got real giddy. Their ceremony was in the Villa Blanca room (white house) and it was just such a breathtaking little room to say your I Do’s and their reception was in the Grand Ballroom!
I loved photographing Vanessa and Anthony’s engagement session! After a few days of awful rain and some rescheduling, we were finally able to capture their love first starting off at the church they are going to get married at this October! St. Anthony Catholic Church in Fort Lauderdale is a neighborhood catholic church that has such picturesque architecture and details that I was able to pose them in front of. At the last minute via inspiration from a previous engagement session I did, they wanted to get some beautiful shots at the Las Olas Riverwalk area! I have been developing an appreciation of the beautiful views along that area that I never recognized before so photographing in that area has been exciting! Enjoy
I photographed Jenny and Tommy’s wedding in 2017 so I was so excited to hear back from them for their maternity pictures! We went back to our original location of their engagement portraits– Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Fort Lauderdale. She loves the banyan trees and all of the greenery that the park has to offer.
This cute couple won a free 20-minute mini-session at one of our recent bridal shows! I loved getting to know this cute couple and take a few fun and romantic pictures of these love birds. This location is (or was) a little hidden gem in the Davie area. There’s a number of different names you can call this place– Robbins Preserve, Robbins Park, or Robbins Lodge… this Robbins location is not only a great greenery equestrian style backdrop for engagement portraits, but it’s also an amazing location for rustic weddings and showers!
Jennifer and David had a romantic sunset beach hotel wedding that was showcased on the rotunda at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. This is the PERFECT location for an intimate wedding that is literally on the beach, but not on the beach! The rotunda is a architecturally genius design at this hotel that creates the most stunning view for a ceremony and this view is what took Jennifer and David’s breath away and sold them on this perfect spot. When you say “Fort Lauderdale Wedding” this wedding would be the exact description. A couple of notes– it was probably the windiest day of the year (minus hurricanes…) and the bride and groom had the cutest first dance with something called “the death drop” at the very end of it and… they nailed it! Holly of Celebrated Journey planned and coordinated this gorgeous event. Check it out!
This most adorable little wedding at the Killian Palms Country Club! This wedding had so much love, happy tears, and it was just the right amount of intimate-ness and simplicity for this perfect couple. Romantic little details plus an evening ceremony (with fireworks!) made for this magical evening.
The coolest couple ever had their stunning wedding at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session (seen here!) at the Wynwood Walls. I loved how emotional everyone was as the bride walked down the aisle (including some Groom tears!)
This WHOLE day was just so stunning from beginning to end! Where do I start? First, the beautiful little flower girl which is also the Bride’s daughter! So I naturally just get excited to see those beautiful mother and daughter interactions <3 the Bride and Groom were just so wonderful to work with! I’m always a huge fan of doing the first look so they could have the gorgeous sunset ceremony of their dreams. The ballroom was so breathtaking and my favorite part of the day was the surprise choreographed dance the bride and the bridesmaids made for the groom! Loved everything from top to bottom!
