I was never a big fan of the color brown and beige in my wardrobe, but my saved pins on Pinterest and my saved images on Instagram tell me differently. So I thought I give it a try myself and now…. I’m hooked. Why did I not figure this out before, but I loooove this palet of brown and beige. Definitely mixed with a little black and white.

What do you think of this look? Yay or nay?

4x Same but different casual jeans look

Lately I’ve been obsessed with casual basic looks (check out my spring wishlist, you’ll see what I mean). But also with basic items there’re so many different outfits to create. That’s why I decided to create 4 looks that are kind of the same, but only by changing the jeans color, I managed to create 4 different looks.

Which jeans color do you like best?

Spring has officially started (soon happy!!) and I cannot wait to exchange my winter wardrobe for some fresh new spring gear.

These are the things on my current wishlist (and much more, but you gotta pick otherwise this post would be endless I guess).

As it appears I’m very much into basics right now (what is happening?!). Clean white and black denim, nude colors (who am I?). Normally I’m all over the happy floral print that seems to come back every year when spring arrives, and don’t get me wrong, I love a good floral, but I’m not really craving it as I usually do.

But, hold your horses, I wouldn’t be me without a punch of color. So I like to add a splash of bold shades with accessories and shoes to spice up these minimal looks.

What’s on your spring wishlist this season?

Ugh… I can’t wait for it to be spring or summer again. Sunshine, a tan, warm bright weather, bare legs… yes to all of it please! Flowy skirts, printed shirts, cute dresses etc. are all anxietly waiting in my wardrobe to be worn again.

Here are a few of my favorite outfits I wore last year. Which one do you like best?

Spring & summer favorites

The looks shown here are all from last year, but so many items are ready to be worn again this year. As you can see I was all over the chunky sneaker trend and the little pom pom bag did not leave my side either. As I look at these photos now, I notice I wore a lot of the same, yet different every time.

More spring & summer favorites…

The flowy white pleated dress for instance, was my ultimate favorite piece of garment last year and I can’t wait to wear it again. It’s actually a shirt, but with my short height it can easily be worn as a cute short dress.

Another favorite from last year, (you probably already noticed, because Its yet another item I wear in multiple outfits shown here), is the white button down with short sleeves. It is the perfect versatile piece for spring and summer. It goes with literally everything. Wear it with a blazer on top and it’s perfect for spring, but it’s also breezy enough for warmer temperatures during the summer.

What items from last year are you definitely re-wearing this year?

The sun is out practically every day and it feels like spring already, can’t believe it’s only february (global warming is that you?). Oh the joy of those first rays of sunshine on my skin, I couldn’t be happier. And with spring vibes comes the urge to search some fine looking eye candy, in the shape of sunglasses that is.

Tell me which sunglasses look do you like best for me?

eyes + more eyewear

Besides being a mom, blogger and Instagrammer, I work for glasses brand eyes + more. It brings me, not only the joy of working on fine content every day, it surrounds me with the best looking fashionable eyewear in the bizz.

Although I don’t have a prescription myself, I do love to accessorize and in my opinion glasses are just the perfect way to decorate your face :). And thanks to the swiftly changing product range, I want at least 30 pairs of new (sun)glasses every month…

Never knew I loved rusty red so much, up until the moment I layed my eyes on this gorgeous faux leather skirt. The fabric feels like actual leather and the pocket detail made me decide to get it, instantly.

Yes please – Silk midi skirt and sweater outfit inspo

Don’t know what it is, but lately I’ve been really obsessed with silk midi skirts mixed with sweaters and knitwear. After shopping downtown the other day and catching a glimpse of the pink silky skirt from Pull & Bear (did not get it at the time), I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So in my mind I started making these combo’s. I posted these on my Insta stories last week, and I still couldn’t stop thinking about and looking at these outfits, so I thought I’d share them here too.

After that I went out and got the pink silky skirt after all. And while in the store, my eye caught an equally pretty one in a very pretty shade of green, so yes, got that one too. Now I’m still thinking about getting the black one as well, black is always a good option, right? And on the plus side, I think these type of skirts are practically wearable all year round.

What do you think? Would you wear any of these combo’s? Which one is you favorite?

– Polka dot jeans: Stradivarius –
– Black leather jacket: Zara (old) –
– White chunky sneakers: Public Desire –
– Burgundy handbag: Burberry via The Next Closet –
– Neon yellow beanie: Bart’s accessories –

So, where to start…

Haven’t posted in a long while and on top of that the whole content of my old blog is gone… I could literally cry the first time I noticed, but then I thought let’s just start with a new clean slate.

And what better way to start then a post from my dream trip to New York City a few weeks ago. Boy, did I love that city, even more then I ever imagined. I have a massive pile of pics that I will share here soon, so stay tuned!
