Looking for some cute Family Proclamation Printables? Today I am sharing my 5X7″ Family Proclamation printables as a freebie on my site. I previously had these listed in my shop, but I decided to remove them and add them as a freebie on my blog. These are the perfect printables to hand out during lessons or to print out and place in your scriptures. Several years ago I was teaching a lesson in YW and needed a small proclamation to hand out to each of the girls. I searched on Etsy, but couldn’t find a small version of the proclamation, all...

Hi! It’s Heidi from A Lively Hope back with another fun printable for you! Today I’m sharing some sweet and punny little thank you cards to color. It is our family tradition to include making thank you cards in our festive activities before Christmas (I’ve found that we have a lot more excitement to actually make the cards before Christmas, rather than after).  So I usually include them in our countdown to Christmas. In the past we’ve made simple cards like this. This year I decided to switch things up a bit and make them even easier.   I drew some...

I am part of a Young Women Facebook group for Young Women Presidencies. I love these Facebook groups and the amazing ideas that are shared. Last month someone (her name was Colette) asked about a calendar that was created last year. She was searching for the original creator of this fabulous calendar, but no one responded. I commented and told her that I would love to re-create one for this year. Today I am sharing my 2019 Young Women Printables to help us all get organized and ready for 2019! . I didn’t see these printables last year, so I...

Hello! Natalie here with a message and a printable guide for you to provide Help in Receiving Personal Revelation. President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has recently stated, "In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost." The relationship each of us has with the Holy Ghost is vital in keeping us spiritually safe. Yet we often treat the gift of His companionship as a secondary option to the opinions of the world.

Hello friends! It’s Heidi from A Lively Hope.  I’m excited to be stopping by today with a set of watercolor paper dolls based on New Testament stories. You may remember my previous paper doll sets, based on Old Testament stories that I shared last year (you can find them here). My New Testament Paper Dolls include several figures and would be perfect to use with the Come Follow Me lesson for March 4-10 “Thy Faith Hath Made The Whole”. While these illustrations were based around the above lesson, you could use these figures for many, many stories from the New Testament....

This post has been updated and was originally posted May 2014. This week’s Come Follow Me lesson focuses on Matthew chapters 6 & 7, which is still part of “The Sermon on the Mount”. As I read over this week’s lesson and the scriptures I decided to focus on Chapter 7, specifically verses 24-27, the Parable of the wise man and the foolish man. This is a beloved Primary song, so I thought an object lesson to go along with the parable would be perfect. I hope you enjoy my Come Follow Me Week 9 Object Lesson: Built Upon the...

Do you use object lessons for your lessons? I love using object lessons for my lessons at church and at home. Earlier this year I decided to start sharing weekly Object Lessons for the new Come Follow Me curriculum. I decided that creating a video would be much easier than writing up a post to explain each object lesson. I have enjoyed creating and sharing these ideas each week, but was only sharing them on YouTube. I realized, after receiving a few comments, that it would be beneficial to also post the video here each week. So, here is my...

One of my favorite teaching methods for church or my family is using object lessons. With the announcement of the new Come Follow Curriculum I knew that I would be using object lessons a lot as my family studied each week’s lesson. I decided that there were a lot of you who would love to use the ideas that I plan to use, so I decided to hop on YouTube and start sharing videos of the different object lessons I will use. This week I have a fun object lesson AND a printable! I hope you enjoy what I share....

Are you ready for 2019, and all the changes that come with it? I shared a great Young Women Monthly Calendar & Task Sheet a couple weeks ago (which I need to update with the changes) to help you get organized for the new year, did you see it? Today I am sharing some pretty 2019 Binder Covers, Poster, Theme Cards, and a gift idea. I hope you like what I shared. I didn’t really plan on creating or sharing binder covers for this year, but a month or so ago I had the idea of making cell phone pop-grips to give to our...

For the last few years members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have spent the month of December lighting the world by serving others. These last few years my family has hung special ornaments on the tree for each act of service we did as a way to keep track of all the service we had done during the month. The last couple of years we have created Service Stars by folding and gluing beautiful Christmas paper, you can see them here.  This year I decided to have my amazing niece help me create some beautiful ornaments...
