Yesterday me and two other photographers headed out early in the morning to capture some snow scenes. The snow that fell last night was sticking to all the trees. This will probably be the last opportunity to get winter pictures until next year.
This past Tuesday me and several other photographers visited Elgin Park in Uxbridge where they have a beautiful display of Christmas lights for the public to see. These displays are from local stores, churches, business's etc.
On November 20 me and several other photographers headed out to take some snow pictures using our Lensballs. This is a different type of photography by photographing through a crystal ball to get some unusual results.
Over the past several years I've captured some interesting videos on my two dash cameras. Dash cams can be a valuable item to add to your vehicle. If something happened you would have proof to show the police. View the gallery here.
I just finished creating a new service on my website called Portrait Retouching. I used this software for several years now but decided to expand my photography services to include this. The past two days I upgraded my software for both portraits and for body retouching. This way when a client submits a photo I can edit it according to whether it's a headshot or a full body portrait. The results are very realistic and professional. Check my services page on Portrait Retouching to find out more.
After so much time planning and implementing I finally have my video marketing store up and running. It still needs a lot of work and there will be more updates coming in the future but at least it's working like I want it to. The hardest problem I had was getting the SSL certificate setup and working properly. That took almost a week working back and forth with my service provider to get things setup properly.
I purchased an IRIScan Book 5 a couple of days ago and have been testing it out. It's a great portable scanner for doing everyday scans. It will scan in both jpg or pdf at 300, 600 or 1200dpi. I like how it can scan anything that has a flat surface. I tried scanning wallpaper and table cloths that have patterns and it worked great. It will also scan multi page pdf's.
As a change from a slideshow I added a video introduction to my home page. Visitors have the option to watch it or not to. I could change the video periodically. The idea is to add other options and key points to the front page of this website.
