I get a lot of questions about my practice journals. To be honest, the format of my journal is constantly changing based on my practice needs at the time. Currently, I just need a simple checklist to keep myself motivated and accountable, so that's what this week's journal is! My handwriting isn't the prettiest and I'm not the best artist, but this journal gets the job done for me :)

(P.S. - Check out my "Journal Inspiration" Board on my Pinterest Page for more inspo!)

No matter what format I choose for my journal, I typically draw the layout on Sunday evening to prepare for the week ahead. This week, I drew 6 bullet points in each day which indicates six 30-min sessions to equal a total of 3 hours of practice a day. I don't always spread my time into 30 minute sessions - especially if I have a busy day - but I at least break down my practicing that way to make sure I get the most done.

This week's practice journal is not very specific about what I'm practicing, and that's because I have other lists organizing my overall technique and excerpt goals.

Here is a quick video of my practice journal-making process for the week! I've linked the journal and pens that I used over to the right. Enjoy!
