I’ve been really impressed by Express lately and these jeans and top are recent purchases. When you are petite, high-waisted jeans are your friends. These even make me look like I have a butt, and that is hard to do!

This dress is a statement on its own with its fun print and bright colors! I’ve received so many compliments from wearing this fun dress – especially because it has pockets!

This dress will be perfect for special occasions like Easter brunch or for a Spring or Summer wedding.

I love that Eshakti allows you to personalize with your preferred sleeve length, neckline, and also your body measurements. This bespoke model guarantees you will always fit the garment!

This Chicwish ruffle skirt will be on constant repeat this summer. It’s just the right amount of ruffles for a fun date night or brunch with friends.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but a touch of ruffles always makes me feel more festive!

The shoes are from ASOS and this top was last worn here.

Kicking off the summer with the comfiest wedges! Not only are the stylish and easy to wear all day – Toms is just one one of those companies I love to support. They were one of the earlier companies to incorporate social corporate responsibility, and they’ve been “walking” their talk ever since!

They’ve expanded now from not just giving a pair of shoes to a child in need every time you make a purchase, to other causes like gun reform.

Now don’t you just want to get a pair of shoes?

Feeling fancy since today is my Friday this week! I’m off to celebrate my sister’s bachelorette in Sedona, Arizona! I only wish I had the luggage space to pack this tulle skirt.

I’ve never ordered anything from Chicwish before, but my first experience is wonderful! The quality is great! I love how full this skirt is and the femme fatale color is just the right amount of romance.

If you are petite, like me, do carefully look at their measurements they list online. This tulle skirt is a little bit loose on me so I’ll likely always belt or get it tailored in the waist so it sits higher.

Chicwish also sells on Amazon too! I’ve been on an Amazon spend lately – I even got my bridesmaid dress for my sister’s wedding on there. What do you think of buying clothes from Amazon?

Feeling proper in Modcloth Double the Love Dress.

Something about the off-the-shoulder can turn a simple dress into an elegant one. I’ve been really gravitating to unique necklines –– one shoulder, asymmetrical or other untraditional necklines.

I’ve paired with these Express heels, that were last worn here.

Wearing Ann Taylor Loft block skirt, theory blouse and

“In the spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours.”

— Mark Twain

Spring is so finicky with its weather, and it’s hard to get dressed in the morning because by the afternoon it will be 20 degrees colder or warmer. On this day, it was 32F in the morning but warmed up to 65F by the afternoon. My afternoon self was happy with my bright color choices, but my morning self was freezing!

To help me and you stay prepared for any weather this season, head to Shopbop‘s sale. I’m planning to pick up a few pieces that can be layered with other items, including long sleeve blouses and light sweaters! What are you looking for to help you transition into Spring?

Use promo code “EVENT19” for 20% off order under $500 and 25% off order more than $500.

While the temperatures are still swinging back and forth, a few warm days have helped to kick start Spring solstice with a beautiful Cherry Blossom season in Washington, DC. Today is peak bloom! Be sure to head down to the Tidal Basin this week to see the flowers in full glory! Like everything in Mother Nature, their beauty if only fleeting – lasting only until the next strong wind or rain.

This pleated ASOS dress is one of my favorites for seasons. I originally bought it to wear as a dress to a wedding, I wore it last on the blog here in my recap of some of the summer best guest dresses to wear to weddings.

I don’t often wear pink, but Cherry Blossom season is definitely my favorite reason to do so!

I’m so ready for the weather to turn warm! Celebrating the official start of Spring with all the berry and cherry blossom hues I own.

These Vince Camuto boots are always on repeat – mostly because they help to make any outfit stand out. Even though I am petite, I still rock OTK boots. I recommend pairing them within the same color scheme as the rest of our outfit to elongate your frame.

I’m apparently having a moment with high-waisted everything. Just ordered another pair of high-waisted jeggings, but, until they arrive, I’ll keep wearing these from STS Blue.
