One of the things I always look forward to during the summer season is going to the beach, family summer vacation and all the fun activities that comes with summer. Before we start talking about back-to-school preparation for Nolan in few weeks, it is time for us to take a family summer vacation. Since I am planning our family summer vacation for next month, I though it will be ideal to share what I plan to get and things that I will be taking with me on vacation. If you are also planning your summer vacation and still not sure what to pack, I have you covered.

Today, I am rounding up my must-have summer vacation pieces. For my vacation style, I love keeping my looks comfortable, fun and stylish. I love pieces that embodies the destination and also items that I can restyle and wear from the beach to lunch or dinner.  For my summer vacation, I will be taking a dress shirt, straw hat, sunglasses, swimsuit, cover up, small on-the-go bag and a scarf that also works as a cover up. Shopping for vacation items for the whole family has been made easier since discovering Vilebrequin. Vilebrequin pieces are where your effortless meets elegance and colorfulness. The quality of the products are beyond amazing including this Blue Breath Long sleeve dress shirt that I am wearing. It's definitely a piece that can work as coverup and also dress for lunch while on vacation. I also love that they have pieces that you can coordinate with your family members such as this halter dress for myself, this swim shorts for hubby and a matching swim shorts for Nolan.

What Am I Wearing:
Skirt (on sale for $39 here); love this here,
Top (old), try this here/here/here/here
Earrings: here
Shoes: here, budget friendly here/here

Happy Wednesday! The past weekend and current week has been so busy juggling 9-to-5 work and blog campaign shoots. I am looking forward to  relaxing a bit this coming weekend. I will be heading to Rehoboth beach again this weekend with friends and family. I have all my beach gears ready for the weekend including this shirtdress, straw hat, and aviator sunglasses. I am also looking to adding this Vilebrequin one piece swimsuit and scarf.

Today's look will be perfect for summer date night. What to wear on a summer date can be tricky. Finding a medium of between something sexy and classy is ideal. For me, this decorative knot skirt and the side slit gives a feminine and subtle sexy appeal. I paired the skirt with an old crop top (previously worn here) and completed it with nude pumps for  date with hubby. You can also pair it with this nude sandals. The nude color is subtle without taking always from the look.

What I Am Wearing:
Skirt: here, similar here / this on sale here, more here
Top: here,
Shoes: here, budget friendly here/here
Bag: here,

This weekend was one spontaneous and fun weekend. Woke up on Saturday with a day trip to Rehoboth Beach thanks to hubby spur of the moment plans. This was our first time at Rehoboth beach and definitely not going to be the last. The beach is family friendly and relaxing. We had a blast especially Nolan who spent most of the day building sand castles and enjoying the game centers. Looking forward to enjoying the rest of the summer and more family vacations.

As summer temps continues to rise, light and fresh summer work outfits become a must-have for me. One of my go to summer work pieces are pleated skirts. Pleated skirts have a feminine feel and can be worn to work and on weekends to events. Love the asymmetric hem details of the skirt...definitely a unique touch to a pleated skirt. Asymmetric details on skirts are becoming a summer staple. Love this polka dot asymmetric skirt...definitely on my shopping list! For this pastel asymmetric pleated skirt, I wanted to keep it neutral and light by pairing it with white and beige pieces. The white shirt and pumps complements each other while the beige Boyy bag tie all details and colors together and perfect bag for work.

Ruffles are one of summer must-have trends and worth trying. They are everywhere including part of neckline, sleeves, covering the hemlines and swimsuits. I have always been a huge fan of ruffle details. They can transform classic and simple pieces into fun and flirty.  Think of ruffles as a statement necklace. Over the years, I have styled different ruffle pieces including a blush ruffle dress, cascading gingham ruffle, a dramatic ruffle top and a fourth of July inspired ruffle look last summer. This gives you an idea about my love for ruffles and how to wear summer ruffles.

Today's post, continues with my love for ruffles. I fell in love with this ruffle hem pinstripe skirt once I came across it on the T.J.Maxx website. I was instantly drawn to the asymmetric ruffle hem. The style and fit of the skirt is beyond amazing. Love the romantic and summery feel of the ruffles. I choose to style it with red stripe ruffle crop top to complement the pinstripes of the skirt and also give a fourth of July inspiration. The off shoulder ruffle top details add a fun and flirty feel to the look. Ruffles are easy to wear. You can also let the ruffle piece to standout by pairing it with simple bottoms and accessories. Ruffles are bold details and the best accessories is confidence.

The fourth of  July is a week from today. In celebration of Independence Day aka red, white, and blue, I created a fun and easy look for the festive day. I love all things red, white and blue and over the years, I have worn all three colors or one of the colors in celebration of July 4th and beyond. You don't necessary have to wear all three colors. You can simply wear one color and accessorize with other colors as previously worn here, herehere, here and here.

For today's look, I choose to wear white and blue for fourth of July. White, blue and stripes are summer classics. This Sail To Sable stripe ruffle sleeve top creates a perfect combo for July fourth. The nautical look never go out of style! Today's look will be great to wear for the fourth of July cookout, to the park or a casual summer day and beyond. If you are spending the holiday at the beach, this silex fishes one piece swimsuit will be ideal paired with the matching shirt dress and straw hat.

Yesterday was a fun, bittersweet moment as Nolan graduated pre-kindergarten. If you follow my Instagram story, you already saw a glimpse into his big day including the picnic and graduation ceremony. I am so proud of him! It's hard to believe that few years ago here, I was announcing my pregnancy. How times flies!

This weekend is filled with celebrations: Father's Day and Nolan's birthday on Sunday. I am looking forward to relaxing this weekend before diving in fully with upcoming projects. For the weekend, my go-to look is always boyfriend/distressed jeans. One of my favorite jeans at the moment is this Levi's distressed jeans. It's my weekend signature style with heels and statement tops. Today's look is my typical style for weekend brunch with friends or hubby. On some occasions, I will swap the heels for flats.

Happy Friday! xoxo

What I Am Wearing:
ForStyleSake skirt: c/o here, other work skirts here/here
ForStyleSake top: c/o here, other work tops here/here
Shoes: here, budget friendly here/here
Makeup: UrbanDecay here

This is a sponsored post. As always ways, all opinions are mine.

Happy Monday! How time is flying! I can't believe Nolan is graduating this Thursday from pre-K and will also turn 5 on Sunday. It's a bitter-sweet moment. I can't believe how quickly he is growing. I have been in supermom mode preparing for his graduation and planning his superhero themed birthday. I got this raspberry suit for his graduation and he plans to dress up as "Spiderman" for his birthday (I will have dig out this costume from his toy boxes...wish me luck!).

Today's look is another work style for spring and summer. Adding a pop of color and fun details is a great way to spice up your work style this season. I am a big fan of pencil skirts for work. This yellow midi skirt with frayed hem adds a fun and unique twist. With a bright colored skirt,  pairing it with neutral top creates a subtle feel and makes for a great look for work.

Besides my obsession with white at the moment, I can't get enough of structured shirts. This ForStyleSake exaggerated sleeve shirt is definitely a favorite right now. From the collar details to the button details on the sleeves, this shirt is statement piece and not you typical work style.. It can be styled for work as seen in today's post or causally with jeans (as seen on my Instagram story and soon on the blog).
