"Bluff" New Single (Official Music Video) - YouTube
You definitely need Ciana Pelekai on your radar. Fit with an impossibly sweet voice, the Hawaiian singer-songwriter only has a few singles under her belt, but she’s already been garnering a whole lot of love for her slick brand of soulful R&B/Alternative sound. Ciana Pelekai just released her first single of 2019, the punchy catchy love-jam titled “Bluff“ complemented with a great visual directed by @acpvisuals.
“Bluff“ opens with catchy brass string melody and a slinky R&B rhythm before Ciana Pelekai’s airy vocals come in delivering quick lines about young lust — in clever, clipped lyrics, she articulates the insecurity that comes from building relationships that aren’t fully engaged. You know what she means — those bluff meeting, those half-hearted connections between somebody, going out for a day at the local carnival as in the video just to make sure he is the one for you. Ciana Pelekai tackles the relatable subject matter carefully, having combined her own experiences with those of others to reach the core of how it feels to love and call on bluffs.
Aided by a revolving arrangement of woozy jazz swells, smooth percussive shimmers, and catchy melodic beats, Ciana Pelekai’s sweet vocals lead the anthem. Built on a lush bed of R&B arrangements, “Bluff“ is a uplifting reflection that suggests Ciana Pelekai will continue to deliver her dreamy melodies in big, new ways.
Described by creator Emma Lee as a 2-minute & 40-second odyssey of boom bap, trap, Mary J. Blige and Roy Ayers vibes in lyrical song, her new single My Life is a dope vibe produced by upstate NY producer named Isa Creary Miller. Listen below:

Cincinnati’s Dash Gwoppovelli speaks on raw feelings and real life before music took over in “Would We” directed by Marty McFly. “I didn’t want to shy away from the pain on my heart; the fear that I might die in the streets, or do a long time in prison,” Dash told HipHopDX for the video’s premiere. “I wanted to express that I didn’t always feel like I would reach this point in my career.”
Gerreddi an artist from Washington DC nephew of Freeway Rick Ross from DC, Maryland and Virginia natives want to know the latest and greatest they have an expert in their mists. DC Native Delante “Gerreddi” Hines has made quite a splash in the DC, MD and VA area with his new smash single “What’s Happenin”.
In addition to taking DC radio by storm, you can also hear the song as an opener for the Washington Wizards basketball games. Born in Washington, D.C., Gerreddi discovered his passion for writing poetry at a very young age. It became an early escape route for the only child and helped him get thru the daily struggles of life. Eventually, the temptation was more than he could resist, and he reverted to a fast lifestyle of violence.
This led Gerreddi to incarceration where he realized that he was on a road to nowhere. It didn’t take long for this young soldier to realize that he had a way with words and his talent was soon evident when he would engage in ciphers against other competitive rappers in the hood.
Gerreddi released his new album “Ready Or Not” distributed through Empire on New Years Day. The first single off the album is “Risk My Life” produced by Floyd Mayweather TMT producer 101 Da Exclusive. He decided to release this album because he released nine different mixtapes over the years and never dropped an all original album with original beats. He also was fighting a serious case while writing this album because he thought he was going to prison.
Spoil alert when you listen to the last single from the album called “Outro” you would hear Gerreddi rapping from a place as if I knew he going to prison!! He ended up on house arrest for two years and got releases from that 2018 of April so he was able to add different songs and some final touches to the album.

“Me and Omen made the beat together a few years ago. When I made the song I didn’t really like it but Omen did and he kinda pressed me to put it on tha EP,” P 80 explained. “After we put out the EP, I realized that a lot of people fu**ed with it so we shot the vid for it with Xash.”
The visual follows up P 80’s previous release “For You” ft. Selina Carrera, which earned P 80 critical acclaim from over 30 blog sites including Daily-HipHop, Siccness, HipHopEnquirer, Tent-TV and more.

As Dante Swave prepares for the release of his upcoming EP, Take Your Soul, the introspective rapper delivers the lead single to the project dubbed, “Vibes” produced by Shhbang Records.
According to Dante the song is about energy, self love and the idea of being alive: “The way you can catch a vibe is through energy, any feeling that makes you feel good in any sort of way. Aesthetics within your visionary perception. Meeting people you connect with, having fun, and being comfortable with yourself is how you catch a vibe. It all starts with self-love and loving the idea of being alive,” Dante explained.
After taking his high school by storm rapping a diss record at the school talent show, Dante Swave became inspired to pursue rap seriously speaking on real life situations and violence that he witnessed in New York as a youth.
“I started rapping when I was 13 years old because of life situations that made me put a pen to paper like violence in the streets of NYC and common teen depression,” Dante Swave explained. “I made a diss track towards someone at my old high school in retaliation for making a song about me. I performed it at a school talent show which made my whole school go crazy, making me realize this is what I wanted to do”
Rolling into the Summer, Dante Swave is prepping for his Take Your Soul EP and encourages everyone to live their best life.”Be yourself and live your best life, this world is like an alternate reality just play it the best way you can and have fun.”
