Traveling is one of our best bonding moment with my little kiddo. From finding great cafes, best photo-op location, you name it all, we both love doing together. And what's the best place to visit that is just 2-hr drive from Manila is Tagaytay.
Eco Hotel is one of the best hotels to stay and to have that great view of Taal Lake and very convenient location where shopping malls, restaurant, and Catholic Church is in close proximity.
This hotel is situated in front of Serin Mall, Tagaytay. With nightly rates of 2,500 to 3,500 PHP / 50 to 70 USD with free plated breakfast. Rates are a bit higher during peak season.
What I love about Eco Hotel is that they are pet-friendly and right inside this small hotel you will see cute doggies and cats. And yes, you can bring your pets while having a great staycation here.
What I don't like about our room is that we can hear the cars and honks because our room was facing the street. But overall, I love our stay and they have few instagramable spots inside the hotel.
Our standard room is pretty small, however, it was just ok since I was only staying with my kid. And during our stay in Tagaytay, we were outside going around the mall and some other tourist spots like Sky Ranch.
The bed is comfy and the sheets are clean. Our room has an a/c but we didn't open it coz during our stay it was a bit cold in Tagaytay. We definitely had a good night sleep and Chichi keeps on telling me to go back here because of the dogs that she can play with at their lobby.
Breakfast is simple yet I liked their tapa and longganisa. We had our breakfast at the rooftop of Eco Hotel where you get to see the Taal Lake.
I can't wait to stay here again and will bring our parents with us besides, the hotel has a family room and their rates are affordable. Perfect for any couple traveler, solo or even family.

At the store, you can also purchase Tea Sets, Snacks, Ginseng, and Gift Ideas.

Here in the Philippines, more and more household have their own life insurance policies, and many Filipinos nowadays have been investing their hard earned money to stocks and any other forms and means of doubling their money/savings. I am thrilled to know that we can invest not just in banks or buy stocks but also in a Life Insurance Company. For as little as 1,000 Pesos, you can now invest thru Sun Life Investment Prosperity Funds. Investment goes to:
Philippine Stock Index
Sun Life Prosperity Funds has Peso and Dollar account. For Peso, you can invest for as low as 1,000 pesos and in Dollar, you can invest for as low as 1,000 USD. This fund is managed by investment professionals who ensure that the funds generate the best result over the long term.
For me, starting a small investment with a 1,000 pesos is ok, however, if you want to add more on your investment you may do so at any time you want. You can always add up 1,000 or 2,000 pesos or more to your account thru participating banks such as BDO, BPI, and Metrobank. You may add up to 4x in a year with no additional charge. Once you did, print screen/save it and upload it to the Sunlife App and automatically your investment account will be updated. However, if you are not tech-savvy, you can still pay over-the-counter.
After attending an event about asset management, immediately I asked my friends if they can recommend a trusted Sunlife Advisor and today, I was able to speak to one of their advisor and next week I will meet her and we'll be signing my policy. Oh, by the way aside from investment, I acquire another insurance from Sun Life which is a VUL - Life and Investment Policy.

A hotel with a resort-feel offers unique Filipino cuisine and a hotel where your friends, family, work-mates/colleagues could have group activities to boost your camaraderie only at Selah Garden Hotel.

During our lunch, we had Negra Grilled Pork Belly, Roasted Chicken with fried Sweet Potato, and Pinakbet.
At dinner, we had the classic Kare-kare, Laing and Crispy Pork while having a karaoke night with DB Media PH Bloggers. At the same time, I celebrated my birthday with these amazing Bloggers who are always there to support my Blogging Projects.
TLC Karaoke room is available for 6,000 PESOS / 110, USD for 3 hours, good for 10 pax. Inclusions are 1 round of pica-pica (peanuts, chicharon, sisig), 1 round of beer, and iced tea.

An annual gathering for Filipino Bloggers to re-connect with their colleagues, and to tap with brands that they might soon have a collaboration with. At this event, I was able to see a few of my Blogger colleagues and met few Bloggers from Cebu, Northen Luzon Bloggers and from Mindanao. What interests me most are the talks from Nix Eniego and Christine Bersola-Babao.
Christine Bersola-Babao talks about being a Generation X, a mom and a TV host and how she transitioned from tv to radio to Social Media Platform on reaching and spreading the good news to her old audience and a new audience. Her career as a host for traditional media such as TV and from one of the biggest network from the Philippines.
It was a fun afternoon that most of us were able to reminisce those times that internet is still dial-up, no cellphones - only pagers and rotary phones. But one thing that she wants us to ALWAYS remember is to be careful with whatever we are posting on our social media - which I'm not (sometimes) and how we should share valuable information to our readers, viewers, and followers.
Another interesting talk is from Nix Eniego, he talks about how we, Bloggers, Vloggers, and Influencers can kill our Instagram game, on how we can increase LEGIT followers and tapping the right audience for our B/Vlog. I,myself is still struggling to reach 5,000 Instagram followers and will definitely try all Nix's tips and tricks.
These amazing Transgender women talk about how they started, how digital space helped them with their business and how they became famous on the internet. They also talk about how they deal with their online bashers. As much as they can, they will refuse to answer these online bashers. They also talked about how they cope up from their bad childhood just like any other LGBT individual and how thy became a better person after experiencing bullying from their childhood. Self-respect, self-realizaion are the few things I've learned from these gorgegous women.
Aside from these amazing and interesting talks, we're able to be meet and talk with new and start-up businesses here in the Philippines.
