Thank you to the Smithville Legion Branch 393 for inviting the Grimsby Pipe Band to participate in the 100th Anniversary Remembrance Day Service.
It was our honour to be part of this historic day.

To the members of the band....thank you for coming out in the cold and being a part of this special event.  Well done.  Mason did a great job with the Lament, and Big Ben leading the way as Drum Major...post healing a broken leg.
Thank you

The Grimsby Pipe band is a Not for Profit Pipe and Drum Band based out of Grimsby Ontario.

We are currently looking for Pipers who would enjoy being involved in a Non-Competition Independent and Family Friendly Pipe and Drum Band!

The Grimsby Pipe Band is also an instructional band having taught pipers who are playing competition today.  Competition is not our goal, but that of a good sounding Event and Street Pipe and Drum Band.

Currently we have a total membership of 37 band members including Life and Associate members.

We do about 28 events a year in the Southern Ontario area ranging from our own Celtic Evening on April 28th 2018, to Niagara Falls twice this year, Cayuga, Ancaster, Fort Erie, Burlington, Smithville, Stoney Creek, Dundas, Guelph, Grimsby and more.

We have modern well-maintained and up to date drums as well as band owned sets of pipes for the beginner.

Our instructors are highly versed in teaching the Great Highland Bagpipes....and music theory.

If you want a break from competition, or just want to have fun but continue to define your piping skills then look no further than the Grimsby Pipe Band.

Beginners are also welcomed.

We practice twice a week on Tuesday Evenings and Saturday Mornings at the John Knox Christian School at 795 Highway 8 Stoney Creek. A clean modern and Air Conditioned facility with ample area to practice drill in both summer and winter in comfort and centrally based in a central location to make driving to practice convenient.

Give us a call at 905-520-7981 Pipe Major Gordon Scott.
