Happy Thursday babes! Gosh this week just flew by! I feel like time goes even faster once you become a mom because the multitasking all day long is super real. Haha! But I wouldn’t trade the madness for anything!
Anyway I’m super stoked to share this layered in white look with you guys today! I’m obsessed with white right now and the temps dropped a tiny bit so I was able to sneak in an extra layer. Insert this white linen trench, the perfect summer layer since linen is so breathable!
In other news I thought it would be a nice new option to start adding a shop the look for less widget at the bottom of each post. All the pieces are pretty much identical to re create the look if that’s a better option for you!
Sharing a few snippets from our trip to the Bahamas! We stayed at two places both Baha Mar and The Four Seasons Oceans Club. Below I’ll go into more detail on both locations so if you are planning a trip, hopefully it will be of some use! This trip was really special to us because it was our first vacation with little London.
We didn’t realize that Baha Mar was actually 3 hotels in one until after we had already booked. We booked through Expedia but if you go to the website it’s very obvious that it’s 3 separate hotels. Basically they have the Hyatt, SLS (the party spot), and Rosewood. Rosewood is a high end resort with all the best restaurants which we were able to take advantage of during our stay! We stayed at the Hyatt so we were a little surprised we were able to use all the restaurants at Rosewood.
Where to eat at Baha Mar
Celo, Common Wealth, and Carna were our favorites for dinner. We ate more casually during the day and usually just did the food trucks since we were at the beach and pool. The food trucks were actually really good so you can’t go wrong with really anything you order.
The Four Seasons Ocean Club
We booked our last few days at the Four Seasons and we definitely saved the best for last. Firstly the gardens were out of this world beautiful. If you are looking at destination wedding I mean wow, this place is STUNNING. If I could go back in time, JK! Haha! But really so beautiful and that’s just the beginning of how stunning this resort is. It’s a tropical paradise to be exact and we felt like we were in a movie. Everyone is so genuinely nice and goes out of their way to say hello. All around just one of the most magical places I’ve ever been to. I can see why it’s been a playground for celebrities since it opened, it’s beyond amazing!
Dinning at the Four Season Ocean Club
The Oceans Club only has two restaurants so options are not plentiful in terms of eating but the food was amazing at both spots. Basically they have one fine dining spot (Dune) that is open for breakfast and dinner and the other restaurant (Ocean) next to the pool is open for lunch. They also have a bar next to the adult pool but it was closed during our stay.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a few of my favorite white dresses for this summer. White is one of my favorite colors to wear year round but especially in the summer! And you can’t really do summer without the perfect little white dress, am I right ladies?
You can simply click the icons to shop the dresses above and also I have more selections below that I’ve carefully selected. Happy shopping!
Can you guys believe I’m actually loving a bit of color right now! Stepping out on neutrals with this two piece set from Revolve and I’m obsessed! I wore this look while on vacation last week in the Bahamas and it’s seriously so so flattering! The color is just so bright and tropical and blended right in with the palms! It was seriously screaming to come on vacation with me! Haha!
Also I felt the need to dress up for our arrival to the Four Seasons Ocean Club. It was where they filmed a James Bond movie so of course Alex wanted to stay there! He has a slight obsession with visiting James Bond movie locations, haha! The 4S was a huge change up from Baha Mar. I’ll be doing a full review of our stay at both places with restaurant recommendations so keep a look out for that this week!
Are you guys a fan of seeing more color for summer? Would love to hear in the comments below! xx
Happy Tuesday loves! Recapping our trip last weekend to Montauk, I took these photos right on our patio at Gurney’s. I highly recommend staying at this resort and booking an ocean view room because the hotel is amazing! Alex and I both have decided we love boutique hotels as opposed to larger ones. Maybe it’s the old age kicking in? Haha!
All of Montauk was covered in fog the entire weekend but we still made the most of it and practically lived outdoors. It was pretty easy to do since we had this wonderful patio space. Plus with having a pet it made things so much easier! This was both Ava and London’s first beach trip so it was really cute to have them both together and enjoy it with them.
Ava pretty much planted her face into the sand and London loved just starring at the waves in the ocean. The water was way too chilly so we just walked the beach and let her play in the sand. It’s so much fun getting to see all her little reactions to these new experiences.
Happy Thursday babes! So excited because today we are packing for the Bahamas and we leave in the morning! Packing is way more of a challenge when you have a kid so I made a checklist and I’m hoping we don’t forget anything! I’m honestly more into planning her looks than mine, so I’ll probably forget something of mine before hers, Haha!
I’ll definitely be packing this little neutral floral dress for the beach! I feel like a floral print mini dress is such a summer staple and this one was such a steal for under $50! Alex even mentioned how much he loved this dress and he never really comments on my fashion, haha!
A new color trend has emerged for summer and it’s the prettiest shade of yellow! You’ll definitely be seeing this color a bunch over the coming months and I’m super into it! It’s neutral and blends right in with my wardrobe so no worries there, haha!
I picked up this yellow top from NA-KD for an absolute steal at only $29. Plus the material is not too heavy so it’s great for the weather we’ve been having lately in NYC… which is on a day-to-day basis of either hot or cold.
Happy Memorial Day! I know some really big sales are happening today so I won’t take up too much of your time! In today’s news, it seems the weather is finally shaping up in NY, so my mini skirts are finally out! I was beginning to think my summer wardrobe would never get to be on display! Haha!
I got this beige mini from Verge Girl a few weeks ago and I seriously love it! The color goes with so much and I love how well it pairs with just a basic grey t-shirt! Plus the light weight linen material is great for this time of the year.
Happy hump day babes! Wanted to share this two piece set by C/MEO with you guys today! I’ve been such a huge fan of C/MEO for years and it’s no surprise that I’m still obsessed with them! This set really proving why they continue to stay on top of the fashion game.
Now that I’ve shared my absolute adoration for the C/MEO brand and this matching set, let’s move on to another item I cannot live without, these beautiful Chloe slides! I got them last month when it was still a little too chilly here in NY to wear them, but I’m finally getting to wear them a little more and I’m obsessed! Obviously every year certain designer pieces become really popular and these are definitely a must have this season!
