My blog is a newborn photography blog and I have always loved capturing memories through photography. Having treasured images of your family’s beautiful moments is an investment of time, energy and love that you will never regret.
I met this sweet little peanut and her parents at their home a few weeks ago when she was barely two weeks old. I enjoyed getting to know her lovely mom and dad, who met in college at Marquette University and then moved out west to Colorado before venturing back to the midwest to settle down and start their family. Avery’s beautiful nursery is an homage to their mile-high home while her mama’s gorgeous bracelet is an ode to her nickname, “Bean,” from before she was born. Their walls are filled with pictures and stories of the couple’s pre-baby adventures while their home is full of love and their hearts are full of admiration for this beautiful new baby girl who has already changed their lives forever. <3
I was lucky enough to meet sweet little Judah and his family just a few weeks ago on a bitter cold late December morning. I didn’t mind braving the cold at all because upon arrival to their home I was greeted by this adorable little face and his beautiful family. Precious Judah arrived 4 weeks early, certainly becoming the most special little Christmas present for his parents and his darling big sister! It was an absolute marvel to see the way she adored her new baby brother. Dahlia and Adam, it was lovely to meet you. Wishing you all the best on this next adventure as a family of four. I was honored to capture this special time for you and hope to see you again to document more of your family’s treasured milestones! XO
Wow, what a lovely morning I had a few weeks ago when I got to meet Hugh and hang out with his mama, daddy and his darling big sister. I was literally blown away by this beautiful family and their laid back nature and warm personalities. To say that I had a wonderful time getting to know them is the understatement of the year. This session was a reminder of why. I. Love. This. Job. So. Much. Ned and Carolyn, what little gems you have in sweet Cassidy and adorable Hugh. I couldn’t be happier to have had the opportunity to capture this special time in your lives for your littles. Sending you love and hugs. XO
I got to meet sweet Eveyln and her family a few weeks ago at the studio. We had to be quick to capture her darling, busy big brother but manage to sneak in some adorable shots family and sibling shot. Sweet Evelyn is as precious as can be and absolutely adored by her whole family. Bill and Jennifer, I loved meeting you and capturing your family together. Wishing you all the best as you settle in as a family of four!
I got to meet sweet little Gary and his parents at their home in Whitefish Bay just a bit before the holidays. The little guy slept right through the entire session, cozied up in his mama and daddy’s arms or in one the many beautiful blankets made with love, especially for him. What a special holiday this must have been for these lovely new parents…I imagine they spent it laying low and cozying up with their precious little guy, the best gift they’ve ever received.
It was so fun to see this darling family again and meet their newest addition, little Lukasz. I hadn’t seen them since their daughter, Gabby, was just 6 months old so we had some catching up to do, but had some time to do so, hanging out in their beautiful new home in Mequon. This little guy was a bit bigger than I remember his sis was when she was brand new… but they both sure are cute, aren’t they? Maggi and Andy, it was so great to see you again! Your family is simply beautiful.
In October, I shared the images from this darling baby girl’s baby shower and the maternity photos that I captured while her parents were eagerly awaiting her arrival. Last month, I was thrilled to meet sweet Olivia and to capture these lovely moments of her life at home with mommy and daddy…but by now they are already off on their first adventure together as a family three, spending two and a half months in Australia together! Amy and Darren, you are truly special people and I am lucky to know you! Thank you for inviting me to photograph your beautiful family. I hope you treasure these images of your sweet Olivia!
Sweet little Ethan surprised his parents when he came weeks early, but luckily, he didn’t have to spend too much extra time in the hospital. When I met him he was just a couple weeks old, but still much tinier than most of the newborns I photograph. Ethan was literally a newborn portrait rock star, sleeping right through most of the session and completing in about an hour and a half what often takes me 3 hours to accomplish. He may be small but he sure is mighty! I just loved photographing this little guy and hope that his parents treasure these images.
