Hi Guys, let’s continue our amazing trip in Paris, During the winter with Megane, I had the chance to spend all week in the best hotels of the capital.
It was such a pleasure to had a night at the Hotel Petit Beloy in Saint Germain.
I must say Saint Germain is one of my favorite place in Paris, I feel so comfortable there, and the Rive Gauche is so charming. The hotel Petit Belloy Saint Germain hosted us for the night and we must say it was a pleasure to be so well received in the establishment in Paris.
The hotel is ideally located. It is small but full of charm and the rooms are clean and functional.
Thanks to the Happy-Culture service, A small glass of champagne in the early evening, what more could you ask for…
I will be back very soon at the next stop in Paris.
-Very good value for the neighborhood.
-Parking underground nearby.
-Varied and multiple shops as well as many restaurants all around.
Thank you again to Hotel Petit Beloy in Saint Germain for hosting us, I very recommend it if you want to spend a night a the Rive Gauche in a charming hotel.
Sharing with you few photos of our experience.
Hii Guys ,
I am in a full period of exams for the third years of my Bachelor of Design in Shenkar , but really soon , I am taking you with Megane and I in Paris for an amazing trip so stay tuned .
Today I come back supper fast-li to talk with you about the #DiorCouture fashion show .
It was yesterday in Paris – Musée Rodin , Maria Grazia Chiuri , that makes me dream during the last years chez Valentino , present her first couture collection chez Dior. I was really curious to see what she has to purpose on DiorCouture , after the Ready-to-Wear show she present for the first time in September that I pretty like … It was different , really feministic but also so modern . I must say that this time for the couture one , I was really disappointed and I will explain you why :
I think that the show was problematic for those reasons :
-It looks too much like her work for Valentino. You might say it’s her signature aesthetic but com’on, at least she should change the colors scheme or the shapes.
-The head piece and the set are WAY more interesting than the dresses.
-Quantity =/= Quality
-Couture is the land of dream and creativity and Raf /Galliano did it by bringing fresh ideas into the house. Nonetheless, she didn’t, it looks like a set of barbie doll dresses (pretty and pink) that you can purchase in bulk.
-Craftsmanship does not stand out in this show (Dior is famous for). one of the chiffon dress and Metallic lamé dress looks like a design school freshman homework/ afterthought.
-Compared with Raf and Galliano, you can see her “reinvented” bar jacket are off-proportion. The upper body looks very heavy and I dont think women wants to look like that.
J’adore Dior but …
Dear LVMH, you need a new designer for Dior.
This week I had the chance to spend my time, at one of the most important fashion event of the Israeli industry, the Gindi Fashion Week. Yes, there is a Fashion Week here in Tel Aviv and a lot of talented designers. The Fashion Industry here in Israel is growing day by day and I am so happy to see this small country making so huge things each year.
Saying the true, I wait a little bit before I started to write my post about the Tel-Aviv fashion week, I wanted to see what the Israeli press has to say about the event. And I get so disappointed about some posts that I’ve read during the last days.
Firstly It’s important to say as a Blogger I am more than open to critics and I think that real critics can build and let you evolve and this is one of the first things I learned while studying in Shenkar.
Okey, I must agree Tel Aviv is not Paris or Milan, and everything was not perfect, ?? So What .?
I am so disappointed that the Israeli press is just talking about the Gindi placement and the interest of Gindi and not about the fact there is a real Fashion Industry here… an amazing one.
During the week we had the chance to discover how much-talented designers the country has to introduce to the world. During this week we discovered that our industry has a real fashion producer, I believe one of the best in the world Motty Reif that direct all that stuff during all week and made it so so professionally, This guy is ready to everything to make discovered our local talents to the world. But we also have really professional press agencies sometimes even more professional that Internationals one, they succeed to bring more than 100 International medias from all over the world to the event and it’s amazing. Our Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists that working for International big names such as Mac and Loreal that take part in the event. But also our amazing Models Agencies that discovering amazing talents each day, that working today all over the world for the biggest fashion weeks, yes all the Israelis models that I have the chance to meet each time all over the world, it’s such a pride for me!
Our Fashion Industry in Tel Aviv is strong, our Fashion Industry succeed to get by without any help from the state or the help of committee such as “La Federation Francaise de la couture”.
As a future fashion designer that studying in one of the most impressive Fashion School of the World here in Tel Aviv. I am so happy to have the chance to be a part of an industry that never big up for her talents and I am thinking that is the most important things that I am taking with me from this Fashion Week.
I basically opened this blog six years ago and I didn’t know exactly why I just wanted to be a part of the Fashion world and to learn. Today this platform is a bit more than just a fashion blog is my showcase , a part of my life that I am sharing with you every day and I believe that it’s important for me not to just talking about how the shows was amazing but also about what I am really thinking of all what going on around that.
I am sharing with you the three days I spent at the Chateau Frontenac hotel on Rue Pierre Charon which crosses Avenue Montaigne in Paris.
A dreamy location that plunges us into the life of Serena Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl while traveling to Paris.
From our windows, we see our favorite Dior shop and when leaving the hotel no need to order an Uber to go shopping or dining in a typical Parisian restaurant. We were also two minutes from the most prestigious street in Paris, ” the Champs Elysee “.
Wow , I really don’t know how to start this post, just so you know I think I spent one of the best night of my life for valentines this year. Megane and I walking in the Parisian alleys, the beautiful district around and l’Arc de Triomphe in few steps of us. What could I ask for?
A romantic gourmet restaurant? Okey maybe but I never expect how much romantic and gourmet in the same place a restaurant can be.
We had the chance to spend our evening at the Lili at Peninsula Palace Asian restaurant.
I must admit it was maybe the second time I get inside a real palace and each time it’s the same emotions.
The restaurant is located in the hotel the Peninsula. The entrance is therefore very impressive. It offers dim sum and high-quality Asian dishes. The decoration is very Asiatic, in red and blue shades. The service is very neat, and pleasant. We feel the freshness of the food, the attention given to the choice of the ingredients and to the cooking, all well seasoned. The desserts are very fresh and offered in small quantities which are enough to complete the meal without weighing it down.
Ok , It takes a lot of time to talk about it, we came back from Paris to another Fashion Week tour and I didn’t really had time to breath and even to write you here about the previous story. But I believe you all saw it on Instagram because we pollute our best social networks ever with hundreds of photos about the night we spent at the Hotel De Nell.
One of my best hotel experience since today I must admit, the level of this 5 stars hotel is really close to the palace experience. We were really surprised to be hosted at this level and the quality of the services was impeccable.
It take us more than one or two hours to realize how much the design of the room we had was wonderful , the room was so so big and spacious , we had a super king size bed and a saloon on our suite , an opened bathroom with an huge Chinese-Bath (look at the picture) the all accompanied with small touches like the Bulgari Bath Tea , or other Champaign and Patisserie room service during the all stay .
But I think the most impressive was our Breakfast in the next morning, the room service knock at our door and I discovered and amazing french breakfast served with french waffles, omelets, croissant, fruits and so much more, it was magic.
I didn’t want to leave anymore and I think we understand it on my Instagram story.
I can just recommend you to had a stay in this amazing hotel and enjoy the quality of the high standing and to enjoy a night really close to the opera district in Paris.
Hello Guys , Finally we are in Paris , and if this time we are not really here for fashion week , for us it’s pretty much the same … Photoshoots and shopping for the weeding mixed with few cultural visits and few fashion meetings , we can say our schedule its pretty full.
And to start our trip we had the chance to stay few nights at the Hotel Marais Bastille.
Ideally located towards the Bastille and really close to Saint Paul this charming little hotel is equipped with modern rooms, quiet and equipped with a very good bedding. The bathrooms are also modern and functional. The welcome is good and the quality of the services was amazing . It was a huge pleasure to enjoy breakfast each morning (coffee, tea, pastries, fruit salad, nutella, cheese, etc …). I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Paris! http://www.maraisbastille.com/ http://www.facebook.com/HotelMaraisBastille https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/3931717/
