This easy Creamy Chicken Bacon Pasta recipe is simple, quick to prepare and is ready in less then 30 minutes. My daughter had a second plate, and that doesn’t happen often. She’d rather just go straight to dessert, usually! That means this dish is a WINNER!
You can even make that this when entertaining friends and family. It’s that good! It tastes like it’s from a restaurant. No kidding!
1 pack of precooked chicken strips 227 g. (I like to use the shish taouk since it’s marinated and has lots of flavor).
1/2 cup of real crumbled bacon
1 pack of sliced mushrooms 227 g.
1 cup of broccoli
1 onion chopped
1 clove of garlic minced
1 473 ml carton of 15% cooking cream
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
2 1/2 cups of uncooked penne pasta
1 teaspoon of Italian seasonings
1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish.
Cook the pasta following instructions on the box.
In a large frying pan, heat the oil at medium high heat and add the mushrooms, broccoli and onions.
Saute for about 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Add the garlic and saute for 1 minute.
Add the chicken and bacon and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add the cream, Italian seasonings, chili flakes, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil, turn the head down and simmer for about 5 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Add the pasta to the sauce and stir.
Serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

No matter what type of brush you use, it is important to clean it regularly to avoid bacteria buildup. On top of prolonging the life of your brushes, you’ll also avoid spreading germs that can cause pimples and even skin infections.
Ideally, you should clean your brushes after each use. But who as time for that? I suggest you use a Cleaning Spray to disinfect your brushes after each use and clean them thoroughly with a mixture of water, soap and vinegar once a week.
How to clean makeup brushes:
1- In a glass container, mix together 2 cups of warm water, 1 teaspoon of Dawn liquid dish soap and 1 teaspoon of vinegar.
2- Place your brushes in the warm water and let them soak for 20 minutes.
3- After 20 minutes, rinse them one by one delicately scrubbing them in the palm of your hand using a circular motion until water runs clear. For the foundation brushes, you might have to add a drop of liquid Dawn in the palm of your hand before scrubbing the brush.
4- Let your brushed dry on a clean towel.

Butter tarts remind me of Christmas. My mom used to make them during the Holidays and they were so delicious! My recipe is just as good, but it’s also easy and quick to prepare. My 10 year old daughter can make them all by herself.
To prepare this recipe you will need:
24 tart shells
1/2 cup of butter at room temperature
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3/4 cup of corn syrup
1/4 cup of maple syrup
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Cook the tart shells as per directions on package.
Preheat the oven to 400°F
In a large bowl, mix together the butter, brown sugar, salt, corn syrup, maple syrup with a hand mixer. Add the eggs and the vanilla and mix well.
Divide the mixture between your 24 tart shells.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Cool before serving.
When I prepare these Butter Tarts, I double the recipe to make 48 tarts. They’re so good; they don’t last long at our house. I have to make another batch right before Christmas if I want some for my dessert platter.
You can easily freeze the Butter tarts, so it’s a good thing to double or even triple the recipe.
These Homemade Croutons are super easy to prepare and perfect to add to any salad or soup. You can use any bread to make these delicious croutons. If you have a few slices that are not fresh and moist enough to make sandwiches, they’ll be perfect for this recipe. This recipe makes enough croutons for a few salads or soup. You can store them in an airtight container and use them throughout the week.
To prepare these Homemade Croutons, you will need:
4 slices of bread
3 to 4 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of store bought minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt
1 teaspoon of Italian spices
Preheat the oven to 400° F.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum paper.
Brush the pan with one tablespoons of olive oil.
Cut the sliced of bread into croutons.
Spread the croutons on the baking sheet and sprinkle two tablespoons of olive oil on the croutons. Toss the crouton so they’re evenly coated.
Place in the oven and cook for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, add the minced garlic, garlic salt and Italian spices and toss until the evenly coated. You can add some olive oil if needed.
Cook in the oven for another 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven, toss the croutons and cook for another 5 minutes or until golden brown. Time may vary depending on the oven.
Let the croutons cool down completely.
You can keep the croutons in an airtight container for up to one week.
This Avocado Shrimp Salad is full of flavor and goodness. The creaminess of the avocado with the delicious taste of the shrimps is simply divine. It’s a great change to green salad. I love to serve my Avocado Shrimp Salad in the avocado shell. Makes it pretty and special, perfect for entertaining!
To prepare this Avocado Shrimp Salad you will need:
1 can of Nordic shrimps (200 g.)
Juice of 1 fresh lemon
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
3 green onions sliced
2 tablespoons of fresh parsley chopped
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Remove the flesh from the avocados, cut the flesh into cubes and place in a medium bowl, keeping the avocado skin intact. (How to cut, slice and peel an avocado).
Reserve the skin.
Drain the shrimps and pat dry with a paper towel. Add to the bowl.
Add the green onions, lemon juice, mayonnaise, parsley (keeping some for garnish) salt and pepper and stir.
Spoon into the 4 avocado skin bowls.
Garnish with the leftover parsley.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This Greek Pasta Salad Recipe is so tasty! It’s the perfect side dish to a summer BBQ, is awesome in the lunch box and everyone will enjoy it as a potluck dish, or for a buffet style meal.
To prepare this Greek Pasta Salad Recipe, you will need:
1 box (375 g) of pasta (penne, macaroni, spring…)
1 cup of sun-dried tomatoes in oil chopped
1 cup of chopped English cucumber
1/2 cup of canned sliced black olives
1 cup of diced feta cheese
1/2 cup of chopped red onion
2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
1 large garlic clove pressed (or 2 small)
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of dry oregano
2 tablespoons of linseeds
2 tablespoons of fresh parsley chopped (keep some for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Prepare the dressing and refrigerate.
Prepare the pasta as per directions on box and add to a salad bowl.
Add the tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, feta cheese and onions.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well.
Add the reserved parsley to garnish.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This Grilled Salmon Cobb Salad is a summer favorite at our house. Easy to prepare, full of tasty, fresh, and healthy ingredients. My kids can’t get enough of it! This salad is also perfect to entertain, for a potluck dinner party, buffet style event or a picnic.
To prepare this Grilled Salmon Cobb Salad, you will need:
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1 teaspoon of white vinegar
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons of fresh chives
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Stir together the ingredients for the dressing and reserve.
In a large serving platter, line up all the ingredients starting with the salad, tomatoes, cucumber, eggs, green beans and pieces of grilled salmon.
Pour 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice over the grilled salmon.
Drizzle the dressing over all the ingredients.
Garnish with the fresh chopped parsley.
Serve immediately while the salmon and green beans are still warm.
