Dog Watch UK by Joanne Donnelly - 11h ago

Little sweet Hugo is a golden soft, medium coated boy with a white bib. He loves to come up for a cuddle and a belly rub. He has a lovely shiny coat, good manners and would make a loyal friend. He likes other dogs and has not been tested with cats. He loves the attention that he gets from the volunteers and going out for walks. It would be wonderful to see him in his own home very soon.

We think children over 8 would be most suitable for him and perhaps another dog to live with.

His Best Points :

Hugo is a beautiful and friendly golden boy, he is very lively and loves to play. Would be great at agility or flyball

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have bee vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Bev
Dog Watch UK by Diane Owen - 5d ago

Pretty Bev is a lovely medium sized, tan and white Podenco cross.

The volunteers all love her. She is a sweet confident little girl, always happy to see you and loves people and attention. She socialises well with people and dogs, and enjoys playing games with the volunteers. She enjoys being groomed and generally soaks up all the attention that she can get.

With her loving disposition and interactive nature, Bev would thrive if she was offered a warm and caring home. She would be a lovely addition to any family.
Bev was brought to the shelter after being abandoned on the streets.

Her Best Points :

She will need further training on heel work and general obedience

Rayo is a sweet and stunning looking little young boy!
He has fabulous markings and he looks like he is a mix of a breed of Pincher.
Rayo has a very friendly character, with dogs, with cats and with children.
He is very gentle dog, quiet and obedient, he has not the attitude or interest to escape.
He was rescued very skinny and with wounds, but now he is healthy and waiting for a new mum and dad to love.
Even though he has been abused, Rayo is not shy or frightened, he is confident and so affectionate; and very trusting of us humans – he dies for just one cuddle!!!

His Best Points :

Beautiful, little, cute Sophie is a tan and white Jack Russell/ Podenco mix puppy.
